A few little hiccups here and there (the street was flooded with rubbish outside the flat, the lock code wasn't working at check in but there was a nice person from the pub next door who helped us getting into the flat, and we were mistakenly told to check out an hour earlier that advertised the night before we left). Overall, it is a well located, clean and spacious house. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great property for a family get away. An excellent location - central to the beachfront, shops and restaurants. The property was very clean when we arrived, and all rooms had everything we needed and more. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. One small bit of feedback we would give was that the checkout time could have been communicated more clearly. Airbnb listed the checkout at 11am, and we also received a confirmation message directly from the hosts confirming 11am. However, late in the evening the night before we checked out, we were told that the checkout was at 10am and hosts were not willing to make allowances despite this mistake. There were also a few bits of wear and tear (e.g. scratches on the wall and small imperfections). This did not take away from the overall brilliant stay we had though, and we’d like to thank the hosts for a fantastic stay.

Starting off with the cleanness of the apartment it was unclean and not what we expected as the towels had hair on them, bed sheets were stained, 1 of the showers had dirt in it, the spoons, forks, and plates were dirty also the coffee machine and kettle were dirty. In addition, there were dirty sheets left on the stairs. So we had to request for deep cleaning. Also another important note, the apartment entry was shared with the exit of the pub downstairs while sometimes the entry was blocked from unloading beer delivery for the pub, so it wasn’t a private entry. Another important point, one of the rooms on the upper floor had a damped wall that lead to the paint to peal off. Furthermore, the fans for all upstairs bathrooms were out of service, as we informed the host for several times and no one came the first time as for the second time someone finally checked the fans and informed us that they must refer to the owner and by that time our stay ended.

My family and I stayed here for a week to visit my sister who lives in Brighton and we absolutely loved the place. We have stayed in multiple properties over the years of visiting and this is by far the best property we've ever stayed in Brighton. We would definitely stay here again. The road that the door is on is maybe a little rough in the evenings, but because the house is up stairs a level, it feels very secure and the location is brilliant, right in the centre of town, lots of restaurants on the street nearby. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again in future. Thank you!

The apartment is very central within walking distance to all of the amenities that Brighton offers. You are spoilt for choice with lovely restaurants on the doorstep. We were disappointed on arrival with the cleanliness of the apartment, the toilet on the first floor was filthy, as was the balcony and windows. We arrived on a Sunday and wanted to cook dinner for everyone which was a bit difficult due to lack of equipment. There were broken plates and implements left in drawers and cupboards. We didn’t feel the many house rules and regulations reflected the standards we were expecting. The street was full of rubbish and cigarettes. The bar staff downstairs were a bit hostile and the entrance was blocked with beer barrels on numerous occasions. You are asked to remove shoes yet the first set of stairs are littered with small stones that fall off the feature wall. Would not return for a further visit, not good value for money and the £225 cleaning fee was excessive as it wasn’t clean!!

May 2024. We stayed here for my 50th birthday. Rooms and bathrooms and kitchen sittingroom area all perfect ! Very clean. Great location. The Brick Pub below did lovely food. 7 minutes to main shopping area. Moments from seafront and many lovely restaurants towards Hove. Would recommend and would definitely book again! Thank you.

Lovely Airbnb with a location central to everything we had planned in Brighton. Easy and fast access to local transportation and restaurants. Enough room for all the guests to have their own bed and bathroom. The living area was spacious enough that we could all relax and enjoy each other's company after a day out. The stairs were the only con of the place as after a long day of walking they were often the last thing we wanted to see 😁 but the entire place was lovely and clean and felt like home almost right away. Definitely saving for future trips and highly recommend for anyone needing a good sized place to stay in Brighton!

Brilliant from start to finish! From answering any questions and providing recommendations, to providing luggage facilities on arrival and departure days, we could not fault anything. The location of the property was brilliant and a short walk from all transport links and attractions. Would 100% stay again!

The property itself was great, but some cupboards in the kitchen smelt and could do with a clean. Some bedrooms have some damp, meaning the paint was peeling off. But overall nice place. The area was not as described and as a group of women it was scary at times, many people were woken up by shouting etc in the night. One morning when leaving, the bar downstairs had beer delivered, which meant our door was blocked, thankfully one of our group could push the door open, but what if there was a fire. Aside the above points, it was a good stay.

Great position in central Brighton. Good space for 8 adults. Each couple having own bathroom. Nice kitchen and living area. Jessica is a friendly and responsive host. only gripe was lack of large saucepans -as it was xmas time, there was a distinct lack of large utensils to cater for large groups and also some of the cooking utensils like spatulas etc were broken and left in the drawers. Other than that, it is an extremely beautiful flat, nice, spacious, comfortable and position is great as it was good to get to the sea, shops and central for many of our needs.

Great location right in the centre of Brighton. With the sea at the bottom of the street. Walkable from the train station and only a 10 minute walk into The Lanes where there are lots of great restaurants to choose from. Decor was lovely and all the rooms were spotless.

Wonderful place! As described in the listing - lots of room for our large family group. Very clean and well equipped. The hosts checked in to make sure all was well and made sure we knew how to reach them if we needed anything. As mentioned in another review, access to the flat is in a back alley which was a little dark and dingy, but we didn’t feel unsafe there at all…the place more than makes up for that. We visited on the bank holiday weekend which did result in some late night and loud/rowdy partying in the streets around us - not sure how it is at other times. Overall, we had a great stay in this flat! Would stay again if we are in the area.

Lovely apartment with stylish decor, good facilities and comfy beds. It is a vibrant neighbour so quite noisy in the evenings which we didn't mind. The entrance is in a back street which is not beautiful but very convenient for the beach, shops and places to eat and drink.

Overall very pleased. Loved the location, wasn’t too noisey from street noise just seagulls. I probably would expect better sound proofing. Also some of the blinds are just not suitable for sleeping during the summer. Venetian blinds have no place in a bedroom unless they have curtains. Some other pieces need to be improved. Toilet brushes were disgusting, swap to silicone ones. Plenty of positives though. Great location, clean enough, comfy bed and clean bedding / towels. Happy with the place for the price we paid.

This was a very nice comfortable place to stay. Walkable to everything. The only change I would make is to put some fans in the home as it can get hot on the third floor. Otherwise, this is great place to stay in Brighton.

The apartment was spacious, clean and very well supplied with toiletries, kitchen basics( no laundry detergent). Great for our big group. Be aware that it is situated over a bar and the entrance is a street that many restaurant kitchens open on to. The street is quite noisy at night with people and then seagulls in the morning, but that is all to be expected. It is a very handy location for the seashore, 3 supermarkets and many many restaurants and bars. Our family group loved it. The Airhost group was very responsive. Thanks.

Staying here was great for our family. Was great having seperate bedrooms and bathrooms for every family and loved the quaint house. the entrance road is a bit dirty but that's nothing the owners can change. you are above a pub/restuarant, which we found really nice as every night before going out we would go for a drink and it wasn't noisy being above it. We would definately stay again and found it to be very central and lovely! communication was also fantastic.

This little gem is tucked away within easy walking distance of everything. The apartment is lovely with all the little extras that make life easy - toiletries, kitchen supplies. We were a group of 5 girls and loved having all the bathrooms!! Because it is located in the town centre, there can be noise at night, but it was not a huge problem and the location made it worth it.

Really enjoyed staying in the flat. It's in a great location, close to plenty of good restaurants and pubs and 5 min walk to the beach front. The flat is very comfortable and spacious and very clean. The kitchen has everything you could want and it was nice to arrive and find a few essentials in the flat (tea, coffee, loo rolls etc.). Jessica at Airhost was very helpful and quick to respond.

Myself and my group had an amazing long weekend at this property ! It was in a central location that meant getting to anywhere in Brighton was quick and easy. The house was clean and the amenities were amazing. Jessica was really helpful when checking in and out, and we didn’t need anything extra during our stay at all ! After check out we were able to store our luggage in town free of charge which was really helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay again !

It was just a perfect place for all of us. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, the layout was amazing, we had a living room to hang out/dine and have a glass of wine. The location is fantastic, next to Preston street which is full of restaurants and bars but also on the quiet road. Very walkable and couple of minutes from the seafront. A++++

This house was in a great location in Brighton .It was near the seafront. Shops and restaurants were just a pleasant walk away. The house itself was very comfortable and spacious. The photographs give a true picture of what it's like. I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Booked this place for a group getaway to Brighton. We found the place to be ideal. The location was perfect for us with everything close by. The house was really well equipped. We found the description on AirBnB to be very misleading. The property was described as a house but is clearly an apartment over a café. The road itself is not really a residential street and the buildings are mostly back entrances to shops and cafés with restaurant workers frequently taking cigarette breaks sitting on the roadside. The street was full of graffiti and generally felt really unsafe and hostile, not to mention all the drunk people at night falling over and shouting and fighting outside the window to our children’s horror - this May have been worse because of pride weekend and maybe isn’t usual but it was really unpleasant. This isn’t standard for urban living: we live in a busy area in one of the most unsafe areas of london and yet have never witnessed this sort of thing from our home. Inside, the windows and glass on the balcony appeared to have not been cleaned in months and were really dirty. Apart from this the accommodation itself was nicely set up and the communication from the hosts was great but I think the description needs to be much clearer as we really thought that we were going to be staying in a house located In a residential street. For the price we paid, this was really disappointing. Also, there are no sea views from the property itself.

We stayed here for four nights with three young children during the summer. Jessica was really helpful during our stay and was very quick in replacing the high chair when we had a problem as well as providing an extra seat for the lounge. The apartment is really nicely furnished and clean, and the rooms are spacious, each with their own bathroom. The location within Brighton was great - we were a short (5 minute) walk from the seafront and beach, and very close to the town centre. There is a Sainsbury Local at the end of the road. The only downside was that the apartment entrance is on a road parallel to a street of restaurants, which meant there was often a lot of rubbish outside. This made for an unpleasant walk to the beach especially with young children.

This apartment in Brighton is excellent. Rooms are all a generous size with 3 en-suites and 1 right next to a bathroom anyway. Very comfortable and well appointed throughout. The location is amazing, a stones throw from the beach and even closer to restaurants and shops. You feel right in the heart of the city, perfectly located to explore all aspects of Brighton. Would stay again.

Located right next to the main streets in Brighton, super central and close to different supermarkets too. The host team was extremely communicative and ensured we had the best possible stay. The house is ideally located such a short way from the sea and all the shops at the top of the road. It was perfect for us as a group of colleagues attending a conference at the Brighton Centre - we liked having our own bathrooms but also a large communal space to gather in when we wanted. All in all very comfortable and convenient, nicely decorated, and well equipped. We would definitely go back.

Overall the place was really welcoming, clean and well decorated. We were pleased with the large toiletries and the plates and glasses in the kitchen were well stocked - so there were plenty for us. There was a party near by on the first night and the music really disturbed our night's sleep - other than this, we really enjoyed our stay!
