We were so excited to stay at the wee cottage close to seaside. On arrival we discovered a broken chair and sent a message straight away. The host co. Replied to ask if we had damaged the chair by putting someone on it. It was a woven wicker type chair and the middle of it was laying on the carpet beneath it. The host then advised the cleaner had sent them a picture of the chair tha day. To say it needed to be replaced. The photo they sent was intact. Funny how they sent a photo of an undamaged chair to say it needed replaced and then when we arrived a cpl of hours later it was on the floor. The host did apologise after I told them my dissatisfaction at their response. Other than that great location. Great house, comfy beds and pillows!! 😊 Quiet area two mins walk from seaside. Lovely local grocery shops, friendly staff. Lots of GF & V foods on offer from corner shop with fresh fruit outside!

This Airbnb was just what we needed for a short break in Brighton. It’s in a decent area and is walkable to the pier, shops and restaurants. My only observation is that you could hear a lot from the other properties around, however at night it was quiet and peaceful. Thank you to the host who was extremely helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a great location. Very quiet and close to beach. Perfect weekend or short stay place. We stayed for two weeks, and enjoy cooking and eating in. The flat was sparse on dishes and pans, but we managed. Overall a good stay.

Nice small cottage one road back from the seafront. Would have been a quiet stay but on our visit there was noise from builders renovating two other cottages in the same street. Parking is a nightmare; the host's instructions were incorrect in that the long term car park is currently closed and on-street parking is limited to 4 hours only. A small welcome pack would have been nice especially since we arrived on a Sunday evening. The cleaning fee of over £100 seems excessive considering it is really quite a small space.

The house was really clean and cosy and had a really homely feel to it. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything we needed. It was tastefully decorated and in a really great location, within easy walking distance of all the attractions, shops, cafés and pubs etc. The beds were really comfortable and we would have had good sleep if it wasn’t for one issue. We were given strict instructions about being quiet after 9pm, however, sadly that rule didn’t apply to others around us and we were kept awake almost every night by other people making lots of noise in their courtyards right opposite the house into the early hours. Such a shame, as everything else was perfect. Despite that, it was a lovely stay and I would recommend!

Have been able to enjoy the time as a family (two older children) very much. Within a few minutes, they are within a few minutes on the beach promenade and 20 minutes from the famous pier. Otherwise, it's a little quieter in the neighborhood, but trendy restaurants are close by. Only the house is a bit noisy.

Quite easy to find and like a 3 minute walk to the beach. The Airbnb in itself was very nice and spacious, the beds were extremely comfy. Looks exactly like the pictures and it’s a nice quiet area, with some corner shops and takeaways a 2 minute walk away which was good and convenient. Only things I would say is there was an alarm / speaker that was plugged in in one of the bedrooms that played extremely loud in the morning which we didn’t set that woke us up at around 6am. Our friend also seemed to have been bitten on the legs after the first night staying there, not sure what from. It was a lovely stay however there was just a few things that weren’t ideal for us.

The location couldn’t have been better - right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the attractions and the beach. We really enjoyed the stay at the cottage with our family. It's very suitable for a family with two kids. The location is perfect for exploring the city. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city center of the city center. Bus stop and shopping are just around the corner. The area is very calm and we felt very safe with the family. The apartment had everything we needed for our two week stay.

We had the most wonderful weekend break at the little cottage in Kemptown. The house was pristine, totally clutter free, with clean fresh linens and such timeless, beautiful decoration. A true holiday for the eyes, too. Gorgeous memories of the morning and evening light dancing in the rooms through the glorious large sash windows. It was ideally set up for us as a family, we enjoyed lovely breakfasts at the big table and relaxing evenings on the generous couch after a long day of adventures by the beach. The team at Airhost were forthcoming with all the information we needed for a fuss free arrival and we quickly found our way around the vibrant neighbourhood with lovely small independent cafes and shops which felt miles away from busy and hectic Brighton.

The house was down a secluded road in Kemptown which meant it was very quiet and private. Super close to our favourite kemptown shops (Seed n Sprout, Open Bakery) and little South Indian restaurant. It had everything we needed, was nicely decorated and super comfortable and worked well as a temporary ‘home away from home’.

Very good. Very nice little house with a beautiful living room and 2 bedrooms perfect for a family with 2 single beds,in the 2nd bedroom. Very good mattress. Quiet house at the end of a small street. Beautiful modern kitchen. Close to the beachfront. Really good. Be careful for the car, we can't pay more than 4 hours of parking on the road. Apes you have to move or drop off the car further at paid parking.

Great airbnb! We stayed there one week with my family (4 adults and a baby), it's a very comfortable place. The kitchen is very well equipped, you can easily cook various recipes in it! The "parents" bedroom is very nice and roomey and has a desk if you need to work, internet connection is good too! There's an other bedroom with two single beds which is much smaller but still big enough and has closet room for clothes and such. The outside area is quite small and closed, as it faces neighbour's windows, but the cottage is so close to the beach anyways we would just go for walks outside haha Finally the neighbourhood is lovely, it has multiple restaurants, take aways, bakeries and coffee shops. It's 20/30 min walk to the pier and the Lanes, and 2 min from the beach.

The home's location was convenient indeed to the pebbly beach—only a short stroll—and small, but well stocked grocery stores. Bus stops are near by and a short distance to the city centre. Home was clean and comfortable! Parking was difficult indeed, though.

Jessica’s place is very nice and clean located in a safe and quiet area. It’s very convenient for us as it’s just 5 minutes walk to Brighton College where our son is studying. You can find everything you need in the area like a small restaurant with a nice coffee and a small convenient store. The beach is only 5 minutes walk and the pier is 15 minutes walk. The bed is very comfort and the bathroom is spacious. Jessica is very responsive and try to help us figure things out. Thank you Jessica!

This has been a disaster. The neighbours next door complained about us and lied about us re noise and behaviour. Insane as we were leaving the house at 8.30 every morning to work. Their emails went to the hosts who are in the US. No-one has listened to us and now the hosts have written to us from San Fransisco telling us our account is paused for 90 days. There was no-one to talk to in Brighton let alone the UK. I am now dealing with a nightmare of computer generated emails from the US while I seek compensation. Scandalous.

The cottage is lovely. Really comfortable and well equipped. It’s in a really nice part of Kemp Town with lots of independent shops, cafes and bars close by. It was really quiet and peaceful. It’s approx 25 minute walk to Brighton Pier. There’s also a regular bus service. The cottage is located on a narrow road which isn’t really suitable for vehicle access; however you can park on the nearby street for which you have to pay during the day

This house, 5 minute walk to the beach is brilliant. We stayed for a week in Brighton and this place was perfect for walks on the beach or down to the centre of Brighton. The little neighbourhood in Kemptown has everything you want - great food and coffee and even a little farmers market on a Friday in the local church yard. The house was spotless and really well finished. Everything you could want - loads of extras and was really comfy if you just wanted to lounge around.

This is a lovely cosy property. The decor is bright and modern. The rooms are all of a good size and has everything you could need for your stay. Extra items were provided which was a very pleasant surprise. Beds are comfortable, furniture is all in good order. TV has all channels including Netflix. Kitchen is well equipped.

We were four adults who had come to Brighton for a change of scene from London. We worked from the house during the day and went to the beach/out for dinners in the evening. The house was very well set up for us to be working with two desks and a large dining table. All of the appliances are brand new and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need. The house is about a 30 minute walk into the centre of Brighton but is a lovely walk on a sunny day. There are also lots of shops and restaurants/pubs in the near vicinity as well if you don't fancy heading into Brighton. The beach is also only about a 5 minute walk away so the house is very well located. The only downfall was the communication from AirHost For You. Leading up to and during the stay Jessica was very quick to respond and provided thorough details for check in etc. However, we had agreed and confirmed a late check out (11:45) via the app, but this wasn't communicated to the people tending the house. On the morning of check out 2 different people knocked on the door on 3 different occasions between 11 and 11:45 telling us we needed to leave (we were just finishing up cleaning the kitchen). When we explained that we had a late check out, they insisted that we didn't and that we needed to leave ASAP. When we explained the situation to the office staff, they were also quite unapologetic for the mistake. This was a really unfortunate way to end an otherwise lovely stay in Brighton.

Lovely cottage with everything you'll need for a great stay. Travelled with my wife and 2 children aged 17 & 14 and we all had a great time. Only a 20 minute walk to the town centre through either Kemptown (with all its local amenities) or via the promenade/beach. The closest car park is about a 10 minute walk away but happily left my car there for 2 nights and used the PayByPhone parking app to extend my stay direct from the cottage each morning.
