The space
Welcome to our charming two-bedroom house, boasting original features like oak floors, window shutters, and decorative fireplaces.Situated on a quiet street in the vibrant North Laine area, Foundry Street Retreat is a beautifully furnished two-bedroom, one-bathroom house with a walled terrace. Designed with neutral tones and natural textures like wooden floors, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need during your stay - there’s a Dualit toaster and Bosch kettle so you are all set for breakfast! There's also an oven, large gas hob, fridge with freezer, washing machine, and plenty of cookware, glassware and crockery. There's also plenty of space for preparing your brunch or dinners for friends and family. In addition to this we offer complimentary tea and coffee, salt and pepper and cooking oil - so please help yourself.
The dining room features a table that seats up to four guests and also serves perfectly as a workspace, with excellent Wi-Fi provided.
In the evenings relax and unwind with a glass of wine in the in the walled garden. You can also have a lovely meal out here as there is outdoor furniture.
The living room, with its large sofa and Smart TV, is another perfect place to relax and unwind.
There are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with a king-size bed, both finished to a high standard in neutral tones, great wall art and some unusual furniture items. Bedroom 1 has a character exposed brick wall. The large sash windows in both bedrooms let in plenty of natural light during the day whilst the shutters ensure a great night's sleep. Both bedrooms have storage for your clothes and personal items. We provide plenty of fresh white linen and towels for all guests.
The modern family bathroom has a toilet, basin, bath and separate walk-in shower. You'll find plenty of big towels, hand towels and toiletries for your use.
Guest access
Guests have access to the flat privately for themselves during their stay. Access details will be provided prior to your arrival.For group bookings, all guests need to be aged 25 or over and we have a strict no parties or late night noise policy.

Really beautiful house, not your generic Airbnb decor. A lot of thought has been put into it & every room is decorated to a high standard. Nice sized house with a lovely small courtyard garden. Location wise I would say the restaurants, cafes and shops are the nicest Brighton has to offer & they’re literally on the doorstep. My only thing would be to look into parking before you arrive. We were hoping to find on street parking but ended up paying an expensive rate at a car park. Also be careful trying to unload your car we nearly got a ticket because we didn’t have a permit. The parking wardens are everywhere!! All in all a wonderful place to stay in Brighton with a super helpful host, highly recommend. Thank you!

Dale's place is nestled on a surprisingly quiet street in the heart of Brighton. Attractions and amazing bars/restaurants are easily within walking distance, as is the sea front. The house is spacious, cosy and clean, and check-in was very simple. I would 100% recommend people stay here if you're looking for a cosy space in a central location.

HOUSE RULES - Please take your shoes off when inside the property. - Please be considerate to neighbours at all times. - Please be considerate to As per the listing: no extra guests, no smoking and no parties please, at all times. - Any lost keys and keys not returned to correct location will incur a charge. If a guest locks themselves out during their stay and requires assistance there will be a minimum charge of £25. - Unless agreed in advance a late check out will incur a fee of £50 per hour. - There will be a fine of £50 for smoking indoors. - If there is any sign of a pet having stayed at the property either inside or outside, you may be liable for extra charges. Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
