We booked a rather last-minute stay at Dale’s place and we were very pleased with how responsive the host was, the ease of check-in, and the comfort and coziness of the flat. The location is incredibly convenient; just a five minute walk from the train station and a ten minute walk to the Lanes, but the street itself is very quiet. The kitchen was especially lovely. Loved the retro-looking appliances and it was nice to have a dining room to enjoy some meals at home! We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Brighton.

We visited last week for 6 nights as a family of 4. My children enjoyed their stay. Lovely area, sooo close to the train station, easy access to everything you need. The accommodation was comfortable nice size bedrooms. Although, I did find in some parts of the kitchen wasn’t cleaned well behind utensils. Also a bigger size bin is needed in the kitchen. But overall all it was fine. We will be visiting Brighton again next year.

The house is really well located and the big kitchen/ dining room is definitely a plus for everyone to gather up around meals. There weren’t many pots and pans to cook though and no kitchen towels. We had to buy a certain amount of things to be able to cook for 10 days. Linen and towels were provided in number which was nice. The convertible sofa in the study felt really uncomfortable though and gave me a strong back pain for the entire stay. All and all we enjoyed staying there but the house felt really humid especially in the kitchen and dining room.

The accommodation is very well located and carefully decorated. It's very quiet while the very lively city center is a stone's throw away! The typical Brighton house is on three floors ( kitchen on the ground floor overlooking the garden, bathroom and living room on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs). The beds were very comfortable!We were able to bring our dog who was warmly welcomed everywhere: there is even part of the beach (Hove side) where you can go with your pet! Right in the center and summer is rare! The agency that manages the property is very responsive and attentive: they bought us a laundry rack that was missing. The only downside is the kitchen area which is wet ( because it is semi-buried), in the middle of summer it was nevertheless easy to ventilate. Parking being booked during the day ( from 9am to 8pm) for residents we parked for free to Hollingdean road ( free): it is 40 minutes walk. The train station is 5 minutes walk.

We had a great stay. The accommodation was optimally located, and it was relatively quiet surroundings. The home looked a little bigger and airier in the photos than it was in real life, and the garden was not as inviting as the photos could give the impression. Old foliage from last year(!) should have been removed. The beds were good and washing machine was convenient. We couldn't find a rack to hang the laundry on so it was a bit inconvenient to dry the clothes. It also said that there would be a coffee maker, but it was just a kettle and a french press. Had we known this, we would not have brought filter coffee and coffee chips. Airhost For You did a brilliant job, and it was very nice that we were able to store our luggage at their office in anticipation of coming to the accommodation.

Lovely house. Great location for everything including the train. Would be slightly better if there was a comfy sofa either in the kitchen/diner or lounge (there is a sofa bed) but we didn’t spend too much time there so it wasn’t a huge problem.

central, well located apartment with garden. The rooms look bigger than they are in the photos, but it was ok. Unfortunately, not all seating options were in the garden, but still comfortable with a blanket as a base. Everything was very clean and fit well! Beds were very cozy! The apartment was very tastefully decorated!

Excellent stay Very good location , very cosy spacious flat very well located within walking distance from sea and city center . Just two things : bear in mind thé additionnal expense of about 200 pounds to Park the car for one week. Plus not enough kitchen ustensile (tupperware Also to keep uneaten food Fresh) Otherwise great great stay

Great location near the train station and only 10 minute walk to the sea front! Not far from cafes, restaurants and the beautiful lanes! House is well equipped, clean and spacious. Just be warned the stairs are very steep down to the kitchen and the bathroom is not on the same floor as the bedrooms. Good value for money.

This property is located right next to the station and only a short walk from the beach. Sadly there were many areas for improvement within the property: * This property really sleeps 4, not 5. The bedroom on the ground floor that also works as a living room doesn't have blinds up in the front windows meaning people in the property across could see in. I realise there were small wooden blinds in the way but they only partially obscured the window, not to mention the light in the morning wakes you up. I would recommend some blinds be put in. * The property needs a lot of general maintenance, fixture and fittings were old, coming apart or needed fixing. Also, there were multiple metal nails poking out of some of the floorboards upstairs * Finally, the property is owned and or run by a company, airhost for you, which personally, I feel kind of goes against the Airbnb culture that the property is run by actual people. But that's personal preference.

Great location and could be a good house but not for 6 people. The sitting room is very uncomfortable, there aren't enough pans or cutlery and the house needs some maintenance. Also the info needs updating especially re how to make the TV work. The beds are comfortable, but the house could be much better set up.

I've stayed at this property for nearly a month and it's been the most wonderful time. I was travelling for work and needed a place that was quiet but very centric and this is the perfect house for it. Located 2 min walk from the train station and 5 from the seafront is close to everything you may need in a long (or short!) trip: supermarkets, little independent shops, parks, restaurants... and because it's a couple of streets off the main street, it's SO quiet. Getting into the property was quick and easy, the Airhost team has been nothing but wonderful throughout, everything was sparkly clean and full of amenities. Beds were very comfy and wifi worked really well too. Neighbours were really nice too. I would 100% recommend staying with Airhost and I'm certain I'll do so again soon.

Great location 5 mins from train station and the lanes 20 mins to beach. Nice clean and tidy property with comfy beds and small garden thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Brighton on the beach every day as we had the bonus of a heatwave.

Fabulous little house with lovely old narrow stairs and period bannisters. The rooms are decorated in a pared back style with white walls, pine doors and sash style windows; lots of charm. The kitchen on the lower floor is fine and we had continental breakfasts there on two mornings - M&S not to far away - but we spent most of our time out exploring and eating on the hoof in Brighton! The ground floor room with the sofa bed has comfy chairs to chill out while waiting for everyone to get ready to go out. Plenty of space to accomodate 4, 5 or 6 depending on ages. Very comfy beds. Parking is approx £25 per day in the carparks so advise either park and ride or taking the train. Jennifer

Great location, lounge on the small side but comfortable. Beds comfortable and good clean linen and pillows. Steep stairs leading into the kitchen/dining area which is located in the basement. Both front and back doors were very stiff to open. Very enjoyable stay
