Overall, the studio was great—darker than expected, but that’s not a major issue for a weekend stay, especially given the prime location! We did encounter two issues. First, the water pressure was poor, making the shower occasionally unusable. Second, the occupant of the paired flat repeatedly left the main entrance to the property open overnight, which made the evenings feel less secure. While this is not the fault of the property owner, it did affect our experience, so it’s worth noting. For a weekend stay, I’d say this place is worth it, but be aware of these potential drawbacks.

The place was amazing. I stayed here with my girlfriend for her birthday celebration. The beach was at a walkable distance and the surrounding was safe and quiet as well. Though the pans were not properly cleaned and there was no brush for dish washing. Kettle had limescale buildup in it so that would need cleaning as we had to heat water using microwave. Apart from that everything was appropriate and up to the point as per the description. The hosts were responsive and so friendly, they let us keep our luggage for sometime during the day of our checkout and were quite welcoming and provided local recommendations. Overall it was an amazing trip and place to stay and would strongly recommend it.

Firstly the property is in a great location, less than 5 mins from the sea front and really well located in Hove, near many local bars / restaurants. The host was always super responsive and clear and the added extra of free luggage storage was a real plus for us. In terms of the property itself, it’s tired and could use a refresh. The cleaning standard had room for improvement and there is a lingering smell of damp in the bathroom and communal hallway. The water-pressure isn’t great and the drainage in the bathroom sink and shower needs addressed (can’t have 2 showers consecutively or it will flood due to build up of water). The bed is comfortable but the pillows are really substandard. A few easy fixes would make this a really lovely little apartment, perfect for a weekend away.

The airbnb was a lovely stay. Good value for money. The location was around a 10-15 minute walk into central brighton, which is good. Lovely garden close by, and 2 minutes to the sea front. The flat itself as a basement flat, there was a some noise from the neighbours. That is understandable. The amenities were good. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils etc. Only 1 toilet roll and the pillows for the bed were a lil flat which did lead to some broken sleep but other than that, really enjoyed the stay.

We had stored our suitcases for free before arrival, unfortunately we had very fogged windows on arrival at the property and couldn't find the key for the windows at first. Throughout the stay, the windows were kept fogged up, no matter how we ventilated or heated, they just aren't tight. You can also see the slight mold/stain on the window frame. Cleanliness could have been a little better in general. Hot water was always enough for a shower with us, then you could only take a hot shower again after a few hours (probably due to the boiler that is installed). Otherwise top equipped and beautifully decorated. Location is great, 5 min to the sea, 2 min to the bus stop, 5 min to shopping. Host was always quick to answer any questions.

Good points: -Logement in a great location. - Very numerous equipment: cooking utensils, cooking oil, pots, pans, salt, tea, coffee, washing and drying machine, laundry machine, soap, soap, toilet paper, hair dryer, etc. - Very friendly and helpful company, quick and reassuring. - Cheap price for the area. Negatives: -Presence of mold in many places. - Unable to mask mold odors (we asked for dehumidifiers we got, but this was not enough to remove the ambient moor and the odors of humidity. We used an anti-odor spray, but it didn't really work. Also, on the last day, we noted, on the last day, the presence of a moisture inflator not emptied behind the bed). - Monthly treats (The staff kindly took care of having them cleaned quickly for us). - Very many hairs and crumbs of food present in the main room, the day of our arrival.

We had a great time in Brighton and felt welcomed by Jessica and the Airhost For You team. The apartment is perfect for exploring the city since it is easy to reach by bus and also close to the beach. However, we experienced a slight smell and humidity in the apartment, which could be solved by opening the windows frequently. We would be happy to book with Airhost For You again!

Nice place with all the necessary amenities. The location is good, close to restaurants, shops and the beach is nearby too. Our only issue was the mattress, it was too thin. Both my partner and I have back problems, so we couldn’t fully relax.

The place needs some maintenance - the shower leaks which is likely the reason for the slight musty smell. The TV and sofa were tiny so ideal for one person but not two. Bed was rock hard with the thinnest pillows I’ve ever used. HOWEVER: The host was extremely responsive which was fantastic. The location is great, walkable into Brighton town centre or Hove. Nice quiet street with ample parking options nearby. Kitchen was better equipped than most Airbnb kitchens I’ve experienced. Overall the the positives / negatives balanced each other out and it was fine. Would 100% stay with this host again.

Small but nice apartment for a short stay in Brighton! The location is central, but still quiet. To the beach it is a maximum of five minutes walking distance and there are also supermarkets, pubs and restaurant within walking distance. The cleanliness met our expectations. The kitchen was also well equipped to make simple meals. The biggest drawback, however, is the bed: The mattress is so hard that you get back pain in the long run. Here you could invest in a more comfortable bed. In addition, the pots and pans should be replaced, which are very scratched.

Not suitable for more than a few nights. The bare minimum of comfort has been provided. The bed is a futon so not suitable for more than a night or two. Lots of noise from the street and neighbours. The host company was responsive. We found some issues that needed repair and maintenance and they offered to sort them while we were out, but we didn’t want to be disturbed. Good location, close to the beach, and Hove itself is lovely.

All brilliant, notably the location and facilities of the accommodation (everything needed for a long-term stay, I was there for 3 weeks). Just knocked a star off for the extremely firm mattress, which I would have usually preferred, but given an arthritic back / hip / knee issue I currently have it was too hard for me for the long-term stay. For a long weekend it wouldn’t have been an issue though. Otherwise, excellent communication with Jessica and a brilliant little studio! Would love to return!

This was the perfect space - as a newcomer to Brighton/Hove, I needed a place to stay for a couple weeks while I searched for a flat. This property had all the comforts of home and was great value for money. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I love that they are accommodating to pets as well , that was a real lifesaver. Can’t beat the location either!

Great location and good for a short stay. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. WiFi is good. Quite stylishly fitted out. Fairly good value for such a central location. Flat looks smarter in the photos than in reality - it’s quite small and not as modern. Bed is very uncomfortable - mattress poor. Scruffy outside the flat, communal area musty and the flat is a bit noisy (neighbours, people walking past on the street) but as expected for Brighton. Overall an enjoyable stay but it’s not flash.

The flat is perfectly placed in a great area but itself could do with a bit of an over haul. The area outside the flat isn’t very welcoming. The photos make the flat look a lot more modernised that it does in person. There are great restaurants in the area though so as I say it is very well positioned. Further than the 15mins tea walk from the station (especially with luggage) but you can get a bus. It’s more in the Hove area which we actually preferred but just a walk to everything in Brighton.

Small but perfectly formed space perfect for a short break with everything you could need. Great location - we recommend Wild and Flor, Shelter Hall, Six and Baked for food, all within walking distance. You can hear the neighbours either side and above but this is to be expected with the type of accommodation.

Location was great, right near the centre, lots of shops, restaurants and things to do close by. Beach in walking distance. Host was quick with replying to messages and friendly. However when we got to the flat, we found an old joint end in the bed, we contacted the host and she apologised however we were very surprised considering the large cleaning fee, we expected high standard of cleanliness. We also found mould on the wall and ceiling which had been attempted to be covered with paint and the flat did smell damp. The kitchen was great, lots of appliances and a washing machine/ dryer was very handy. Flat overall was spacious with nice paintings and homey feel.

Thank you for a wonderful stay Jessica! You were a amazing host and very attentive, checking in with us to make sure we were ok! The location was amazing and perfect if you want to check out all the amazing shops,coffee shops and eating places that Brighton has to offer! So close to the beach too can see from the street! Parking is a bit of a downside (know that’s not your fault) but maybe purchasing a permit for guests to use if possible would be a great idea for the area! The flat was lovely and good for a few days any longer with us and the doggie may have been too much! Due to all being in one room! The flat was clean and tidy with a few little areas that could of had more attention such as the bathroom! It’s also a shame that windows don’t open (only one opens a tiny bit) as in the heat we had it made it very warm and stuffy! A fan would be a great option for people to use (Luckily we bought our own) The bed sheets were clean and fresh with added bonus of towels and some toiletries being supplied! For a longer stay I would suggest a nicer quality mattress and pillows! For the first evening the TV signal was really bad but with a wiggle and re-positioning it seemed to be better by the morning! Jessica was on hand to send someone over though to get this fixed which was great! The TV is small, not too much of a issue as we were hardly in the apartment but a bigger TV would be a good options for the evenings and mornings! Even sitting at the kitchen tables we struggled to see it! Thank you for a lovely stay we loved exploring Brighton!

I checked the reviews for this place the night before my stay and saw that the property was covered in damp. Concerned, I spoke to airhost for you and they said that it was fixed but would confirm with a colleague. They then got back saying the damp wasn’t fixed and that I could stay there for a reduced rate or cancel but they offered to rehouse us. I decided to cancel and let them rehouse- they couldn’t find any properties and left me without a place to stay the night before my trip (which had been booked months in advance). Had to pay more money for new accommodation at the last minute. If I hadn’t enquired I wouldn’t have known the property was in a unfit state to stay in. The staff I spoke to on the phone were useful but this is unacceptable behaviour and I would highly recommend avoiding airhost for you.

Once we arrived we were quite shocked as the pictures make it look bigger than it is. However everywhere was very clean and the decor was lovely, and there is everything you need for a short stay. Any queries we had on our stay were answered within minutes which was amazing. Although, we found this place to be very noisy with doors slamming and people talking right outside the window past 11pm. Also as the windows open only a tiny bit it was very hot and stuffy so would recommend maybe supplying a small fan to keep the room feeling cool and fresh.

Room not up to clwaning standard old used/dirty cleabing rquipment left behind curtains. Decor old fashioned and curtains smelt musty. I would take some wipes and fabreeze as the damp will also be a cause of the musty smell. Great location and communication if your going to sleep as we did its a great place, i would suggest taking own utensils and a chopping knife if your wanting to make your own breakfast. Getting into the room was seemless and getting around from the location was super easy. We had loud neighbours above but it was a bank holiday and we did come in drunk ready to sleep so wasnt too bad atall

We loved the location of the Airbnb and appreciated Jessica's quick response timings. I would say that it wasn't obvious how to work the boiler and we had to wait a while before we figured how to get hot water for our shower. The flat was considerably smaller than it seemed in the pictures and I hadn't quite clocked that it was a basement flat (it is in the description but not obvious) and that some of the fittings were broken e.g. the bathroom doorknob. Our main issue with the apartment was that the ceilings of the entire flat including the bathroom were damp growing fungus and there was also a huge spider. This is a huge violation of health and safety standards in any accommodation. This did make the stay rather unpleasant for us.

Location, Location, Location. So close to Hove lawns and the beach. Waitrose around the corner, coffee shops, St Anns Well Gardens. Not too far to Brighton Station. Safe neighbourhood. Everything was meticulously clean - lovely crockery, nice design touches. Would stay again.

Great location, good communication with the Airhost. But it is a pity that the place doesn't have the care and attention one would expect for the price. The place was not as clean as we would have expected - we needed to wipe out shelves and drawers before use. There were a number of other issues that we hope the host will attend to, including no bedside tables or lamps which means you need to get out of bed to switch off lights; bathroom fan runs for a very long time after switching off the light and is noisy. This wouldn't be a good option in hot weather as only one of the two sash windows can be opened and then only by 4 inches. We can't recommend this apartment. It doesn't live up to the description.

The flat itself is ground floor. The entrance is disgusting and dirty. The photos are obviously touched up. The flat smells like a smokers flat with cat piss everywhere. They tried to mask the stenchwith air fresheners, but the mix produced a pungent smell. I tried to address this to the host and was gaslighted. The only redeeming quality was the area being so close to the beach.
