Overall, the Airbnb was a pleasant place to stay. The location, in particular, was excellent – within easy walking distance to a supermarket, the sea, and the high street. The home itself was nicely presented and had potential to be very comfortable. However, the living room felt quite cluttered, which made it a bit less relaxing to spend time in. More importantly, cleanliness wasn’t consistent throughout the house. The bathtub, bed linen, and parts of the living area could have used a more thorough clean, which did detract from the overall comfort of the stay. While the host was responsive and quick to reply to messages, unfortunately, he wasn’t particularly helpful. For instance, I asked for images of the cot room and clarification on the size of the floor mattresses – fairly basic details – but he wasn’t able to provide them. That lack of support made it harder to plan and get settled in smoothly.

We had a lovely stay here as a group of 6 - the location was perfect for exploring all Brighton has to offer! Beautiful, spacious house in a quiet location. The beds/pillows were really comfy and we had everything that we needed. It was a lovely touch that games were available to play. Thanks for a fab stay!

Great location! No complaints but my advice to big groups planning to stay is that you do have to be very conscious about the noise. This was included in the description, however there’s lots of signage around the home which did make us quite paranoid to have a good time. Not a negative but perhaps rethink staying here if you’re a loud bunch.

This is a lovely characterful property in a great area (easy walking to the centre of Brighton and to 7 Dials), and I would go back here. The reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that there were a few things that weren't as we expected when we arrived, and not all of them were sorted out during our stay. Whoever is looking after the property could do with giving a bit more attention to some details, then it would be 5-star.

We’ve lived in Brighton for a long time so know the area. This is a lovely area, quiet and easy walking distance to everything. There was an issue with the lock when we arrived that was solved within the hour - very friendly locksmith! Place was clean, fit all 7 of us comfortably and was perfect for what we needed. WiFi worked well. I’d recommend this place and would stay again.

Very central, convenient location for Brighton and the beach. Supermarkets, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Beds comfortable and large shower with plentiful hot water (as well as 2 baths!!) Lots and toys and games for all age groups (toddler to adult). We found it an ideal property and location for a 3 generation family reunion.

We had a lovely break over the Easter weekend. The house is perfectly located for accessing shops, restaurants and the beach. It is also very quiet in the evening, which was ideal for our family holiday. The hosts were very responsive and the house had plenty of space.

We had a wonderful stay in Montepelier street! Pretty house with nice and cosy interior, perfect kitchen, very clean! We felt very much at home. Beautiful street with sea view. We stayed with a group of friends so were very happy with the two toilets and beautiful bathroom. There were plenty of sleeping arrangements possible. We were not all couples so some slept on the extra matresses provided. When we were short on sheets and towels, they were delivered the next morning. Our stay was near perfection, if I should say one thing: we thought the sofa bed was a bit old and not very comfortable. We would suggest to put a new matress on that one to make it up to standard with the rest of the place. All in all we had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the beautiful rooms, kitchen and amazing rain shower. Location was great! Very close to several supermarkets and quiet at night. Also we were very happy that we could leave our luggage at the Airhost office! Thank you and until next time!

Having lived in Brighton ten years ago we knew the location was great before we arrived. Coming back and visiting friends and family made this the perfect place to call home with a family. Perfect for all age groups and styled really beautifully it suited a very busy few days of walking around the city snd having guests. We loved it and thanks to the hosts for being attentive and excellent on comms!

A lovely located and good sized house. The house overall was clean, tidy and a fab location for the town with the far end of the shopping district only being 20mins and a sainsburys at the house end is literally a few minutes down the road! It was cleaned well and had the basic tea and coffee for use as well as the kitchen being fully equipped with only food needed. (The mat in the kitchen is a trip hazard as it is not stuck down and slips so we rolled it up and tucked away for safety). The bathroom was a fab size and included a brilliant shower and huge bath. And having a separate toilet upstairs and downstairs was a godsend with 6 people! The bedrooms were all a good size and had comfy beds with towels presented ready. We stayed for four days and I must admit sadly after that time you were able to see all the small little jobs that really do need attending to, such as a toilet seat came off (I did report this) there are holes in the woodwork around some windows causing it to be quite cold in some rooms, and the overall decor in places could do with a little more love. (The heating was fast acting so sorted the cold problem). But honestly overall a brilliant location, lovely house with balcony and an easy experience overall using the air bnb!

Plenty of room for the three of us in the bedrooms, although the sofa bed was uncomfortable. The property was clean and nicely appointed, and all the amenities we needed were provided. This house is an absolute gem of a house located in a fantastic location. The house is lovely inside too especially for families or small groups. The price was absolutely fantastic too especially for central Brighton. However, if you're a group with "loud" voices this may not be the place for you due to the noise monitor which specifies to keep the noise down after 10pm which is earlier than the UK standard of 11pm but I understand there are neighbours living downstairs (their smoking did waft into the kitchen/corridor too which was not particularly pleasant). We have reported the smell of gas in the kitchen and the host responded immediately which is excellent - unfortunately we were told they do not work over the weekend so there was no point reporting it then, and the latter is something you should be aware of if arriving on the weekend. The hosts were really quick to respond which is always a plus, and always clear and polite - another bonus. Overall we loved our two night stay here but there's a couple of points to note - the bed in the loft room is very uncomfortable and the mattress on one side rolls inwards with a sort of lumpy hole in it - this has been reported to the hosts. Also my friend said the bed in the smaller room on the first floor also uncomfortable "could feel the springs in my back", but other than that the house really is a lovely find at a bargain price! The only reason this is not a 5* is the 2 uncomfortable beds and also we all agreed (and there were 7 of us) that it is unreasonable to expect people to clear all the bins out/recycling and wash/put all the dishes away when you are paying a 170 service fee. I think it's fair to ask you to stack a dishwasher with dirty dishes but if you're paying a hefty cleaning fee you shouldn't have to find external bins, and put dishes away at the end of your stay - well not two night stay anyway. It's the first time I've ever had to do that in an air b n b stay - but everyone has their rules.

What a fabulously decorated house! We felt so joyful here, 5 mins from everything, lovely cafes for breakfast nearby, quick walk to the shops and a lovely stroll to the beach! A brilliant 5 day stay in this funky & vibrant Brighton town house. The short walk to town and the seafront was ideal for us and we absolutely made the most of the facilities both inside and out. We had a lovely week long family holiday staying at this beautiful quirky property with great decor and a great location leading straight down the road to the seafront! (Easier to walk there than back as the house is up a fairly steep hill- but at least it counteracted all the extra calories we were consuming!) There are plenty of shops nearby with a local Sainsburys and Waitrose in the main high street just down the road and plenty of restaurants nearby too. The attractions such as the BA tower and Upside Down House are all close by at the bottom of the hill on the seafront. There is a large Odeon cinema just a bit further along too. You can hire bikes on the seafront which we found a great and fun way to get over to the Brighton Pier a bit quicker. The Brighton Pavilion and lanes area are about a 15 -20 minute walk so are all easily accessible and we enjoyed many nice evenings discovering new restaurants and bars in this bustling area. The seafront down the road had lots of lovely cafes to sit in the sun and watch the world go by or noisy bars playing live music too if thats more your scene! Usual deckchairs etc available to hire too! Overall the house was a great place for a family holiday in a great location and we would definitely stay at this well stocked and comfortable property again! Plenty of coffee, tea and sugar are available as well as utensils and cutlery and a large dining table. Towels and extra bedding also provided. The house has 3 large double bedrooms, the main attic one with a freestanding Bath and a small nursery attached with a cot in. There is a sofa bed in the main lounge too. There is one main bathroom for the whole property with a great shower and a bath. There are also two separate toilets available. There is not much outside space -just a very small balcony off the kitchen and there was also a small courtyard with a BBQ for use too. There is a separate basement flat under the main house but we did not hear any noise from them. There is not much parking outside the house as all mainly permit only so we put our car in the train station car park for the week which worked out well and is about a 15 minute walk away. The hosts were friendly and professional and brilliant at keeping in touch and sorted out any queries quickly (we accidentally locked ourselves out one day and they helped us get keys very quickly!) Hopefully we will get back to lovely Brighton for another visit again soon!

Absolutely lovely Airbnb. It was right in the centre of town and easy to get around. The house was beautifully decorated, modern and very spacious. The house had most amenities and basics like tea and coffee. There is a Sainsbury's local down the road to pick up any shopping and many restaurants and takeaways close by. As noted on other reviews, the house is on top of another flat so be wary of not making too much noise and tread a bit more carefully after 10 pm ;) Parking is pretty non-existent around Brighton. You can pay and display or alternatively park out of town around Preston park for free and uber (~10-15mins) or walk-in (~25 mins) as we did. Overall great stay :)

Avoid this Airbnb We have faced lots of problems during living there! First of all there are only three rooms in this place, but it said there are four rooms on the app. Second, the bathroom shower didn’t have a door to stop water from flooding the room. And they ask us to paid the damage after check out. Third, they have asked us to throw the garbage after the time we check out.

We had a wonderful stay as a group of 6; the location was spot on and so close to everything. However, we felt a little deceived with the description as there were people living beneath us which we were unaware of. Also, in one of the rooms there was a curtain half hanging off which is a simple fix. Other than that, couldn’t have been any better. We throughly enjoyed Brighton :)

We stayed at the house for a long weekend. The house is quirky, colourful, close to the centre of town and for the most part, comfortable. However, as another reviewer has already pointed out, this is NOT a four bedroom house, as depicted on the profile, it is a three bedroom house with a double sofa bed in the lounge. We only realised this after we had booked it, which was a bit disappointing. There were little things that could have been easily sorted out (e.g. curtain in the bedroom hanging half off; huge cobweb in another bedroom, etc.) that no one had bothered to fix. The cleanliness in the kitchen was below par and really needs to be addressed (and I say this irrespective of Covid!). That all said, the house has its charm and we enjoyed our stay overall; it’s just a shame that it didn’t really live up to my expectations.

This is a really lovely house in a great area of Brighton convenient for the shops, the Lanes and the seafront. The design is very fun and the house is really spacious. There were also lots of toys for kids. The only tiny downside was the basement flat underneath the house was inhabited by smokers who stood just under the first floor windows and smoked a lot meaning if you open the windows for fresh air then the house smells of smoke.

This is a large, stunning Regency house located in a historic and well-preserved neighbourhood. The oceanfront promenade is 10 minutes walk away, and there are many good shops, restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhood. We had a wonderful stay given that it was during the coronavirus lockdown. Airhost For You were very attentive and supportive hosts. We would just point out that the location would not be ideal for anyone who struggles to climb hills--the walk to the high street and the promenade involves descending (and of course ascending) a fairly steep hill.

This place is amazing! Booked it as a for myself and girlfriends for my 30th. There was 9 of us in total. The layout of the house meant we weren’t on top of each other but still felt cosy and homely. The table in the dinning room was perfect for our evening dinner. The courtyard area was so beautiful in the winter sun. All the beds are comfortable not one of my friends had a bad word to say about the sleeping arrangements. The linen crisp, clean and REALY cosy (we all want to know where the pillows are from). There were enough bathrooms and toilets for 9 girls need we say more, and the main bathroom is just AMAZING. The house is so close to a well stocked supermarket and cafes and restaurants , handy if you didn’t want to bring food with you or cook. And what a lovely walk to and from the sea front...it’s roughly 15mins to the pier. Apart from the WiFi not working I can not fault this house. It has everything you need for a lovely weekend with friends or even family(with young kids). Will be recommending to all my friends!!!!

The property is in a fantastic location, on a quiet street and just a few minutes walk from the beach/shops. The house is beautiful and stylish, whilst also feeling like a cosy home. The amenities were brilliant! They provided hair dryers, toiletries, plenty of towels and even kids toys, books and crockery. There are a few problems with the propery which we have brought to their attention, but we would definitely recommend staying here.

We had an lovely stay in this spacious house,which had lots of character and amazing decor. The house was clean and well supplied with all we needed to have a great time. Seven members of our family stayed at this house for four nights in January. It made for a cosy, comfortable stay in Brighton, with great heating and lots of space for us to spread out. The beds were comfy, the showers strong, and there were lots of extra touches, such as extra toiletries, a choice of teas, menus from local restaurants, lots of information about Brighton, and an array of games and books. It reminded us of visiting our family cottage because it felt like a real home full of memories. The location is central, with a good supermarket nearby. It is up a hill - but so is almost everything in Brighton!

This was a nice house in a good central position. For ourselves I would have given it nearly 5 stars but we had our elderly parents with us and the stairs up or down to any of the bedrooms (which we knew about) made it just a little more tricky for them. Again, it was a great location, but the uphill made it a little more difficult for our parents. Overall we had a lovey time there. Thank you.

Beautiful location walking distance into Brighton and can see the sea from the front door! The house was amazing and really allowed for each couple to have their own space, but big enough communal areas to get together and hang out! Can not fault the host they were there for every question I had and such quick replies! Amazing!

This is an amazing house in beautiful street. Airhosts are great, really responsive to messages even at weekends. Great stay. Thank you

It is in a great location and works well to accommodate a large group. We were there for a short stay, but we all loved the place.
