Lovely, well appointed modern bungalow in grounds of older house with stunning views over garden and golf course which was ideal for walks. Loved breakfast and evening drinks on the patio. Care needed on exiting into unrestricted road, but overall a great location for sightseeing in the area, beautiful surrounding villages and excellent food in local pubs. Welcomed by owner shortly after arrival and useful information provided in booklet in the property.

Our stay of a week was perfect for us as a couple. The cottage had everything we needed with nice views over the golf green. By car, we did all kinds of excursions and we also explored the region by bike. The host was always available for us. Great!

This experience was absolutely the best Airbnb we have visited. The hosts were helpful and very accommodating, friendly and couldn't help enough. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful on the skirts of the golf course. Beautiful mature trees and wildlife on the fields. Although guests are requested not to wonder onto the private lawn infront of the property, permission was granted for our grandchild and mother to play and roll about on the lowish green lawns play with friendly Lotty (Jack Russell terier) The premises are tidy, every thing you need is available and ample available parking. Exit from the parking onto the main road is dangerous but the blind spot mirrors does help. Thanks for a very welcome stay. Last but not least we enjoyed the lovely JR pups and almost brought one (Mary) with us home.

I had an absolutely lovely experience here. The space and atmosphere were fantastic—very clean and quiet. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place if you need to stay in the area. Thank you!

The cottage is lovely and the accommodation very well laid out inside. Views from the living/dining area are lovely too, looking out over the neighbour’s garden and onto the golf course. The cottage has everything you need for a short stay and is in striking distance of some nice towns and villages.

Returned to this property for a second stay, this time early Spring. We were lucky with the weather and spent many hours relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet inside and outside the property. Our hosts were lovely too and added to the relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This Air B&B, was our first experience, and it was an amazing one. Lots of little touches made it especially good. A really great sized TV, with Netflix. A wonderful two seater very comfy and what a bonus, it was electric, so as a disabled person, it was such a joy being able to able to put our feet up and lay back. Another little touch , was that there were two sliding doors from the hall into the bathroom, and another from the bedroom. The bathroom was lovely, with a large walk in shower. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, even when I had to be ambulanced into hospital. The ambulance churned up the shingle parking area, my husband offered to rake it out, but the owner insisted he would do it. The owners could not have been more helpful. They should be very proud of this wonderful cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at Chapel Lodge. Super clean and tidy on arrival, and the property was well-equipped for our 1-month stay. The property was also really 'dog-safe', and amply placed next to Piltdown golf course which is dog-friendly for walks. The owners of the property are an absolute delight - super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

Lovely place. Very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful so we did not need Airhost’s assistance at all during the stay. Everything was great. The only disappointment was that the garden which had been photographed separately and included in the property details was not for use with the rental. I actually contacted Airhost prior to the trip to ask about it being secure for my dog, and they answered that it was. Airhost need to correct this as it was misleading. Thankfully the owners allowed my dog access when I explained. They were very amenable. Great hosts. I would recommend the property.

It’s a beautiful little place with wonderful views over the golf course. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and we would happily stay again. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the sofa reclines! What more could anyone want.
