There was some initial teething problems with the house having no power when we arrived (and seemingly for some time based on the fridge/freezer) - the out-of-hours frontline support team didn't understand the problem with the power (pre-pay meter needed topping up) and didn't call back when they said they would, instead just deferring to airbnb support for a refund. But the problem did manage to get resolved in the background before it came to that, and the booking was able to continue. Once this was resolved, there was no further problems. The house was clean, comfortable and as-described.

The accommodation was very nice and cosy, especially the living and kitchen area. Nice big dining table right next to the kitchen, plus a nice little kitchen counter with bar stools, which created the perfect setting for family time during meal prepping. The garden view would have been great, but unfortunately, one side of the glass window needed cleaning, plus the garden was slightly unkempt. The bathrooms that were using electric heating were not very easy to operate, but the HP team was readily available to assist. Overall, we enjoyed our time and really appreciate HPs prompt and quick responses to all our queries, not forgetting the wine and chocolate christmas gift❤️

Great property a short distance to the centre of Milton Keynes. A lovely property, well maintained and the hosts were excellent (great communicating, resolving issues etc.). Would highly recommend and will definitely use them again!

This is a great place to stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Spotlessly clean, in a very quiet and peaceful location. We would like to mention that every detail and every corner of the interiors and exteriors are built with love and perfect taste. The owners are very nice people with a gentle character of hospitality. This may have been the first time we stayed here, it certainly won't be the last!
