With stunning canal views, this is a perfect getaway property, offering everything you need as a base for a family or friend get together, conveniently located just 10 minutes from Sandbach town centre and 45 minutes from Chester and Manchester.

This home can sleep up to 8 guests. Long stays are welcome.

The space

The living room features a spacious L-shaped sofa positioned by the TV, complemented by additional sofas and chairs for ample seating throughout the area. Adjacent to the living space is a dining area with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying meals together. The property includes four well-appointed bedrooms: Bedroom 1 offers two single beds, a small double wardrobe, and a chest of drawers; Bedroom 2 is furnished with a king bed, a large double wardrobe, and a chest of drawers; Bedroom 3 features two single beds, a single wardrobe, and a small chest of drawers; and Bedroom 4 includes a king bed, a single wardrobe, and a small chest of drawers. Each room provides comfortable and practical furnishings to ensure a pleasant stay.

The property is the house at the end of the carpark. The key safe is located outside the front door. Please use the code sent in the check in email / message to open the key safe.

A spacious & well equipped space. We loved the ‘upside down’ layout with bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. Plenty of games for wet weather and within easy reach of local towns. Parking is a little tight if each of guests has a car! We loved staying here and will definitely be back to stay again. Thank you

Staying at this lovely upside-down house overlooking the canal was an absolute delight. The facilities were great, with super comfy beds and well-equipped modern bathrooms stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries—a thoughtful touch. While the manual helped, the range cooker did take a bit of time to figure out, but once we did, everything was perfect. The spacious upstairs area catered to all preferences, and the fairy lights added a cozy ambiance. Watching the boats pass through the lock in the sunshine was a blissful way to spend the day. The convenience of parking right outside and nearby shops for groceries made everything so easy. The canal walks were another highlight. Overall, it was a blissful stay that we would highly recommend.

Really interesting old house right on the canal lock. Views across fields from the upstairs living area on one side. Easy parking at the door. Good size kitchen and modern bathrooms. You can hear motorway in the background but we didn’t find it obtrusive. Great walking along the canal and lots of public footpaths across the countryside really nearby.

I would recommend this house. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedding was spotless and beds so comfortable. Plenty of bath towels and loads of toiletries - should you want them. It was warm and cosy. Overall a great place.
