Nestled in the Dawdon area of Seaham, you’ll find Town House. Spread across two floors, this spacious and warming holiday home provides the perfect retreat on the North East coast. Sleeping up to four guests, and boasting private parking, you’ll have everything you need for a relaxing self-catering stay by the sea when staying at the dog friendly Town House.
The space
Town House is a relatively new build so you can expect modern interiors and furnishings throughout.

Once inside the property, you’ll be welcomed into the cosy living and dining area. With neutral tones, a sofa and armchair, this space feels snug and welcoming. Soft furnishings are added through the abundance of cushions. A home from home, you can cuddle up with your loved ones in this space and enjoy quality time together. There is a TV with Freeview so you can keep on top of your favourite shows during your stay.

A great place to socialise, the dining table is located at the rear of the living space. With four matching comfy dining chairs, the dining area is both contemporary and comfortable.

With light wooden cabinets, smooth wood effect worktops and a white splashback, the kitchen is an immaculately presented space. Fully equipped for all stays, the kitchen boasts an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, and toaster. It also includes the added luxury of a dishwasher.

Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll find the two bedrooms and bathroom. With a comfortable and relaxing feel, the first bedroom is cosy and welcoming. There is fantastic storage space, bedside lamps and light coloured walls. You’ll enjoy your nights’ sleep at Town House as the double bed boasts the finest quality bedding and linens.

From the master bedroom, you step up into an ensuite shower room. This space features a walk-in rainfall shower, handheld shower, WC and basin.

The second bedroom has another comfy double bed with plush bedding and crisp linens. Storage space is offered in the form of a bedside chest of drawers, and you’ll also find a lamp and mirror in the space.

The family bathroom is an ultra clean and modern space. It boasts a bathtub, WC and basin.

Head outside and you’ll find a small, decked private garden area - a real bonus to guests staying at Town House.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Town House are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available for two vehicles.

A maximum of four well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Town House per reservation.

Location within walking distance of town and beach via a bridge over the railway line. Corner shop and excellent Chinese takeaway just over the road. A graveyard within very close proximity of the back of the property but the neighbours were very quiet and didn't bother us 😉
Property suited us as a party of 3 but may be a bit snug for 4 guests as only sofa and one armchair. Also the bed in the smaller bedroom was smaller than a double. Kitchen looked well equipped to cater for yourselves with dishwasher, oven, microwave etc
Shower in the ensuite was lovely and powerful with a small sample complimentary shower gel and shampoo to start you off. Lovely clean white towels and bedding. House was really cosy, so much so we had to turn the heating down as it was too warm!!! Lovely after a freezing day on the beach though. Would definitely book again.

The pillows in the master bedroom were too firm and solid for us. Even by taking a pillow away each they were still too high and I ended up using no pillows at all the second night!!!
My only real complaint would be not having welcome information printed out to view whilst at the property. Upon arrival you have to scan a QR code to view the details on your phone, or read through an email that was only sent 1-2 hours before arrival. Didn't really help with location details when we actually left home 5 hours before we received the email!!!
