Die Lage ist gut, es ist nicht allzu weit zu Fuß ins Zentrum und der Parkplatz ist goldwert, da parken an der Straße nur mit extra Ausweis möglich wäre.

Es ist komfortabel eingerichtet und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die Waschmaschine hat gleichzeitig eine Trocknerfunktion, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Bettwn sind bequem und das Badezimmer mit zusätzlicher Badewanne war geschickt für unsere Kinder.
Wir können das Haus empfehlen!

Nur Kleinigkeiten:
Für den Gasherd hätten wir eine Anleitung gebraucht, einmal bekamen wir den Zünder nicht gleich wieder aus und ich war einer Panik nahe.

Die Heizung wird über ein kleines Touchscreen-Gerät im Wohnzimmer geregelt. Der Touchscreen ist allerdings aussen am Rand des Geräts - wer sowas aus Deutschland nicht kennt, der probiert eine ganze Weile daran rum :) auch hier wäre eine genauere Anleitung hilfreich.

Die Haustüre geht nicht ganz leicht auf und ebenso lässt sich die Hintertüre nicht leicht abschließen, wir mussten eine ganze Weile probieren bis es klappte.

Insgesamt alles so wie erwartet. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Küche bzw. die Ausstattung selbiger, Töpfe und Pfannen waren ziemlich verschmockt, Tassen, Teller und Besteck trotz Spülmaschine nicht sauber. Und uns fehlte eine Kaffeemaschine (aber da ist ein subjektives Problem).
Ansonsten haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und würden auch wiederkommen.

The house has a central location and is a short walking distance to the town centre and corner shop (Sainsbury's). Lovely house with a quiet neighbourhood. The house was well-equipped for our stay. Travelled with 2 adults and 2 teens. Kids loved their beds and had good night sleep. Managed to cook a couple of times during our stay and had pots and pens that I needed.

My only gripe was the house having dust and dust bunnies on the floor. If we are charged a cleaning fee I would have expected the property to have at least the floors properly hoovered (incl. under the beds) and mopped which was not the case on our arrival. Luckily there was a mop bucket and I managed to mop the house but I feel it is something that should have been done prior to our arrival. Having said that apart from this mishap we had a lovely stay and would happily go back.

Comfortable stay close to Canterbury West train station and the city centre. We were happy there with our two kids. It's a bit strange that you have to pay a deposit (incl. fees) for possible damages even if you have your own insurance. Overall helpful and friendly host, however. We would go there again.

Leiligheten var veldig pen og praktisk, hadde parkeringsplass, og en egen hage. Veldig sentralt i Canterbury, men likevel enkelt å komme seg ut til strender og området rundt.

Great location, additional benefit for having the car parked on the drive so close to the town centre. The upstairs room heaters were not working based on the thermostats, grateful that fans were provided but wasn't enough to cool the room down. It resulted in leaving the windows open at night, which helped the kids sleep at night. Thank you for letting us stay!

Hidden treasure for visiting Canterbury; 10 minute walking distance to Center. House was clean & well presented. We would definitely book again. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the radiator thermostat in the single(s) bedroom to turn off & would like to suggest the addition of a coffee machine for the Dutch coffee lovers. Hope to be back.

Location is great. Garden is so pleasant. Nice neighborhood, felt safe. Decorations were light, bright, modern, very nicely updated. So nice to have off street parking.

As an American I was not familiar with how the door lock works. I think there is a correct series of turns and clicks to get it to open and similiarly to stay locked. I was totally guessing each time. Simliar with the washer/dryer combo. I tried every setting I could think of and couldn't get it to dry. Not a machine I'm familiar with. Also, that address, Google took me to wrong address twice. While there was a map in the welcome book, there were no tips on quickest walking path to popular destinations, and Google doesn't know. After our first walking trip into town we began to figure it out. Garbage is in an awkward spot, not sure it's accessible for removal with a car there.

Good location within walking distance for Canterbury Cathedral, also close to bus routes for Whitstable and Herne Bay.

Unfortunately on our arrival we were greeted with waste bins very full which are situated close to the back door entrance and with the heat this was not pleasant.
Place just felt it needed a deep clean.

The house had everything you needed. It was comfortable and cosy. The location was very quiet and peaceful, was so lovely to hear the church bells! The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The shower was good, we didn't use the bath tub, but it's a nice addition to a holiday home especially if you are staying longer. It was easy to check in and check out, very clear instructions. We didn't use it but the garden had a table and chairs, so you could sit in it. Car parking space at the back of the property for one car. The house allowed plenty of light through, which was nice. Plenty of crockery and kitchen ware available to use. The location was perfect to be able to walk into Canterbury centre (only a short walk) and to access everything around it.

Nothing to dislike really.

The place was clean & as described to be fair … we only wished if the kitchen window had curtains at least especially that it’s on the ground floor and the window is big, faces the garage anyone on the street could see inside not only the kitchen but also the living area was visible
During our stay we noticed water leaking on the dining table from the ceiling (this ceiling was directly below the bathroom and the water leaked every time we had shower) we informed the host & they responded hours laters & had people coming in & out the place for few days but the problem wasn’t fixed and we were requested to not have showers in the shower area or if we had to .. to not let the water get on to the walls or whatever anyways it wasn’t convenient we weren’t feeling our most comfortable showering or bathing in this place I’m not saying we didn’t but that it wasn’t thought-free
Anyways the area is very quiet & nice … would recommend if the issues addressed were attended

Great stay. It was a second time . The house is located in a calm area of Canterbury, 5 minutes walk to the city center and with parking.
The only minor negative is the steep fee for the cleaning of the house.

This property benefits from good seed rooms and has it's own car parking space to the rear (behind the kitchen).
It's location is just 5 minutes walk away from Westgate Tower, leading in to the heart of Canterbury, with plenty of eateries and places to sit and grab a beverage of your choice.
The Cathedral is about 10 minutes walk from the property, and the shopping centre about 15 minutes walk away.
Good location for venturing out and about in Kent too.
Good communications with Blue Fox, who were always responsive when messaging them or indeed when we called.

Easy to check in & check out - communication before our stay was great but during our stay when we had an issue, we had no response to the issue reported. The boiler had been turned off so the house was very cold during the first night, on turning the boiler on & using the shower, the water then leaked through the ceiling. As we had an event to attend, we messaged the owners to inform them of this but we didn’t hear back. It meant we were too worried to use the shower on our last day due to concerns around the electrics. Great location & the house was tidy & clean & great for our stay but the issue with the heating & leak wasn’t ideal.

It is in a great location to walk to the city. We loved the open main floor, comfy bedroom and size of bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all the dishes, bakeware and cookware.

Though it has a lovely, large bathtub, the tub takes ages to fill so I didn’t use it but once, which is sad because having a tub is an asset of the property. Also, the sink faucets are stiff and one has to be careful to turn off fully. That the kitchen doesn’t have any oven mitts is odd given the great assortment of cookware, and only one tea towel and hand towel for a 10 day stay is not enough. Fortunately we laundered them at our children’s who live locally. It would be very useful to have instructions for the appliances in the information book to safe one needing to Google model number to get them. The combo washer/dryer is nice to have, though without instructions we didn’t feel comfortable using it, and the markings for the oven have worn off and if not familiar with this oven, it’s a challenge. Kleenex would have been great too, though easily bought at the convenience store around the corner.

This is our second time at this apartment. We love it for the ease of access to the center of Canterbury, and its convenient location near the Canterbury West railway station. The hosts are responsive, and got back to us quickly including once when we managed to lock ourselves out.

12 New Street is a great place to stay and visit all that Canterbury has to offer. Just outside the Westgate and with local pubs, shops and eateries within a few minutes walk. On-site parking is a major plus point as parking in this area is difficult/expensive without such. The house is clean and tidy and well presented with useful instructions for the things one needs to know about. None of us are out and about all the time and time relaxing on the sofa with a bit of telly is sometimes necessary. We’ve stayed in many AirBnBs and this has the simplest TV of all. Nothing worse than spending half an hour or more working out some awful and unfamiliar telly system. This. Just. Worked…! Excellent…

We had a lovely stay in this little house. The parking is a great plus.
The place is clean, well furnished and the beds were comfortable.
Walking distance to Canterbury city centre was great for us.
Had a bit of an issue with a clogged shower, which wasn‘t sorted out during our stay, but we worked around it somehow.

It was clean and bigger than I thought it would be. Free parking. Rental company was great, very friendly, checked in regularly, were always there in you needed them.

Needs more character/home feel (e.g. more artwork, cushions, decor, fabrics), black curtains for bedrooms.

Die Lage war gut, man kann fast alles zu Fuß erlaufen. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber absolut in Ordnung. Sehr gut ist, dass man einen Parkplatz hat.

Leider gibt es im EG keine Toilette. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, wenn man nur mit Familie reist, aber kein Problem.
Die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein, es klebten vertrocknete Kontaktlinsen der vorherigen Gäste am Bett.
Wir mussten trotz umgehend erledigter online Registrierung dreimal nachfragen und anrufen, um den Code für den Schlüsselkasten zu erfahren.

The location is fantastic. The place is light and comfy, getting that much light in a house in Canterbury isn't all that common! It also has a beautiful little garden!

The shower was a bit temperamental but the bath is fantastic. We also noticed that the washer/dryer does not dry well at all.

The New Street House was ready for any family with everything you’d need in the kitchen, a spacious fully equipped bathroom, all mod cons in the living spaces & phone chargers next to the sofa & each bedroom.

The team were in contact if needed & we throughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a great space. It looks compact from the outside, but is surprisingly spacious and yet cozy inside. Well-equipped and clean, and really nicely located both for the Canterbury West railway station and for the center of Canterbury. Would definitely stay here again.

We needed to stay in Canterbury for a couple of days and were delighted that we found this end-of terrace house in a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the main part of town and Canterbury West station.
Checking in was straightforward and the instructions provided by the host were clear and comprehensive.
The house itself was spotless and well equipped, including fast wifi. Beds, chairs and sofa were all comfortable and in good order.
Communication with the host was great - they responded quickly and proactively messaged during our stay to ensure that everything was fine.
Added benefit is the parking spot - perfect for a compact car but fine for an average saloon.
We had a clean, comfortable and cosy stay and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a base in Canterbury.

We loved the property on New Street. It was exceptionally clean and had all of the kitchen facilities we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, bathroom large with a good sized shower. The very best thing is the location in St Dunstans, it is a very nice area with loads of really good bakeries, cafes and quality restaurants near by so we didn't need to walk right into Canterbury centre as they were all right on the doorstep. We also walked to a lovely independent cinema. No problem with the parking at the property despite having a large(ish) car. We would definitely stay again of we are in the area.

The location is great - perfect for walking to all the sites in Canterbury. It was so nice to have a parking spot, although prior reviews are correct that it is only suitable for a small car (which luckily we have). Everything in the home was as pictured.

Fantastic location in St Dunstans with parking space. Nicely furnished, with 2 bedrooms and good size living area.
On-site parking is a real bonus, as street parking in St Dunstans is for residents only (or 2hrs for visitors). Worth noting the parking space only fits a mid-size car or smaller.

We enjoyed our stay in a British common style house. It was a long stay, but there was no inconvenience. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Kitchen supplies were available.
