Beautiful cabin, brilliant location however was left very dirty. Hair in the shower, stains on the carpet, half drunk mcdonald’s on the side and a very mouldy french press!! There’s one fork (no chopsticks) no pepper and although i didn’t get to use the french press all the coffee and sugar left was complete rock solid and honestly gross. I did very much enjoy my stay just a little disappointing as i paid a £75 cleaning fee.

The Eco Cabin itself was lovely and looked liked what was advertised. The Eco toilet takes some getting us to, but there were no issues with smell or anything, The par t we found disappointing was the outside of the cabin. The grass looks like it has not been cut for some time and generally the garden needed a tidy all around. The garden looked nothing like the advertised photos. This was the only negative of our stay

When we arrived at 7pm, the bed sheets had not been changed and the cleaning had not been done... we had to do it ourselves... What a hassle! The accommodation is not unpleasant but deserves more attention and some improvements: 1 fork for 3 present, the chairs are a little disassembled, the shower and bathroom sink are tiny, no light in the kitchen area. Not a fan of carpet either, in terms of hygiene... Quiet location.

Stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of August. Chose this location because the eco cabin seemed like a fun idea. We loved the location, private and away from the busy nightlife of Brighton but only a 10 minute walk from the town. Host was super responsive and helpful. The cabin itself was lovely, had everything we needed and acted as a cozy space. We were a bit scared about the eco and was something to get used to. The toilet didn't smell at all. My partner and I agreed that if may have been unpleasant if we stayed longer. Really enjoyed the stay, loved having a garden to sit in with lots of nature. Cabin was exactly as advertised.

The positives were communication was great and it had a private garden. Location was walking distance to shopping, sight-seeing, and the beach. The negatives were that it was very small for my family of 3. The compostable toilet was difficult to use for an average-sized person and would not be recommended for smaller people. On the other hand the shower is so small that, as an average-sized person (5’ 11”/180 lbs), it was difficult to move at all and clean oneself. The place was quite dirty in that there were stains and dirt on the carpet and cobwebs throughout. Overall, I would not stay there again. I was aware of the compostable toilet, but it was worse than I was expecting and the shower was just too tiny. We didn’t feel comfortable in the “home”.

A hidden gem in the middle of Brighton, can’t be any closer to the town centre. Both the beds were comfortable, and had what you needed for a couple of days stay. Very private and communication was great. Used it as a base to explore Brighton and was ideal.

I absolutely LOVED the eco-cabin! The garden could have been a little better-kept but inside I felt it absolutely exceeded the photos! Gorgeous wood scent inside, beautifully decked out, and felt right at home. The best thing was the incredibly peaceful surroundings; honestly we felt like we were in the middle of a forest yet we were in central Brighton! We did have a few issues when we arrived but Dale and Host & Stay were super quick to respond and resolve everything asap for us. Loved the eco-compost toilet - so pleasant to use and as an aromatherapist I appreciated the fresh sawdust scent - I want one now! Only thing that could be improved upon would be a second chair to sit in, otherwise absolutely ideal & I would happily stay again - thank you so much!

We loved the cabin. The decoration is nice, we felt safe and comfortable there. Most of the appliances for the house were at our disposition. The beds were super comfortable and everything was clean. However, the water pressure in the shower isn’t great and it’s very tiny and was inconvenient for all of us. Same for the sink in the kitchen, we struggled to get cold water, and the sink in the bathroom was tiny. No wifi available, even in the settings it didn’t show up, so we couldn’t use Netflix/Prime video. We were aware of the compost toilet but we didn’t really enjoy small little bugs on the seat.

Dale was great with clear instructions and responsive. The location was a little rough with the entrance down a dark alley with graffiti all over the entrance which initially made us aprehensive but once inside the cabin it was clean and lovely. We didn’t realise there was an eco toilet (hole and sawdust) those familiar with Glastonbury will be aware of these, but maybe we didn’t read the details, but it did say eco cabin so that’s on us, but after a couple of visits you get used to it, just a little uncomfortable to get up on. There were a couple of things that were either broken or didn’t work, like the slightly dodgy metal part of the flooring near the toilet door that’s sharp and we just put the heater over it to save our feet. The string lights in the loft bedroom area didn’t work, but daughter didn’t seem to mind. Garden was a little overgrown and looked quite different to the photos, similarly to how the loft area roof was a lot lower than it appeared. But we loved our stay.

A cute cabin in a secluded garden that does need a little bit more looking after. It’s located at the top of a very steep road and then down some stairs to an alley way, so is not accessible friendly whatsoever. I feel it would be the perfect fit for a young solo traveller or couple

The accommodation is small but beautiful, it is located between townhouses and is therefore quiet and in a kind of green oasis. About a 20-minute walk from the train station, the location to the center of Brighton is pleasant. The compost toilet is ventilated and was therefore no longer a problem. Unfortunately, there is a lot of dust in the window frames / ventilation slots and in the sloping roof and some spiders as well as spider webs, so if you are sensitive, this is not the right place. The internet did not work during our stay and the host gave us non-functioning tips and then unfortunately did not do anything to solve the problem. All in all, the accommodation is cute and usable for a short stay, but you will not feel completely comfortable.

We loved the cabin! Don't be put off by the compost toilet, it was clean and not smelly at all. In fact, the whole cabin had a lovely wooden smell and was clean (except for the dishes and microwave). A bit worried at first about the water supply but that wasn't an issue at all. Plenty of fresh water that got hot quickly when needed. The place felt warm and cozy, we didn't need to use the electrical heaters. It almost got too warm under the lovely thick blankets at night! We loved the beautiful decorations and the light chain! The garden is magical, one easily forgets that one is (almost) in the middle of town. The person who communicated with us was Charlie, who was very responsive. The only issue is that I asked for clean dishes after I read a complaint in a previous review and din't get a response. We had to clean most dishes before we could use them and the microwave was filthy. Moldy staples in the pantry. It looked like nobody had checked the cupboards and drawers in a while.

Charming little cottage, in the heart of a quiet residence at a good distance from the center of Brighton to avoid noise while being able to access it easily on foot. The train station is a 20 minute walk, the beach is about twenty minutes too. The place is comfortable and the dry toilet is not a problem at all, we get used to it very quickly! Small downside on the quality of cleaning and dishes that would deserve to be a little more advanced... Communication with Dale, on the other hand, has always been friendly and responsive. I would recommend this place for a visit to Brighton!

This cabin is an absolute hidden gem! It was so peaceful to be snuggled in amongst the trees. We were visited by cats, foxes, toads. It’s well furnished, cute decor, felt very cosy and private. The mattress was great quality and very comfy (on the soft side but still great) with cotton linens. The armchair was also comfy (the garden furniture was in bad shape though). The toilet is amazing, as is the case with compost loos. Clean and fresh. There were some downsides. The place was smelly (mildewy) so might be challenging in winter months. Also, it felt it had been left without maintenance or cleaning. The microwave was filfthy, the shower clogged up and the kitchen equipment was dirty (plates etc needed washing before use). We have informed the host of this and they were very responsive and reassured us that they would fix this for all future guests so don’t let it put you off. Overall, although a little worn out, it was still a lovely place to stay for a summer trip :)

Brighton is a fantastic city and this stay really complimented it well. I really liked how we were close to city centre but when in the cabin it felt private and close to nature. The cabin was clean and well stocked with fresh sheets and quite spacious for 2. The only qualm I had with the stay was that the picture of the toilet was a tad misleading. While in the description mention an eco compost toilet, the picture showed a flushing toilet. This took us by surprise when entering the property as it was not what we expected. We didn’t have too much of a problem with the eco toilet and liked idea but apart from being a little uncomfortable to sit on, an updated picture is needed. However, I really enjoyed my stay, would book again and recommend to others!

On the way from the city pass the marked house and walk 15m , on the right is 108 steps downwards alley. In the middle is secret entrenc to a little place that you can be peaceful. Private and enjoyable . I felt home 🤭. Host is responsive .The train station is 15min. away 🚂 . Definitely would come back in the future.

Really well thought through design too, lots of cupboard space to hang clothes and hooks in bathroom and close to the front door…all contribute to making it a very easy place to feel at home in v quickly

We loved staying in the cabin. We found it peaceful & private, not overlooked despite being in town & close to the buzz of Brighton. We were visited by a fox, squirrel & butterflies which made us feel like we were immersed in nature even in town. I do think that with a little more attention to cleaning & the outside space this could easily be a 5 star place to stay. It' just needs some TLC. The cabin is sweet, comfortable with some lovely features & the compost loo is really rather lovely!

its was dirty on arrival ..cob webs all over the front door mud and dirt to .the pictures on site are stretched to make the place look bigger. we thought the garden was made to look so much bigger on photos. and the loft on the pictures look like you can stand up when you have to crawl on the floor to get to bed ... theres was cobwebs and dust on the towels . .after 3 days the tiolet smelt terrible ... i had to put a cloth over my nose every time i went to the tiolet ...in the night we had terrible winds and the trees would smash againt the roof and keep us awake. ... the garden is not maintained and was alot of weeds. .the place its self was dirty and dusty ... i was not happy with the bed as the sheets had some light brown stains ... so over all im disappointed .... it could be beutiful if it had some more cleaning and maintained .... thank you

We had a lovely, comfortable, stay at the Eco cabin - perfect location for Brighton City and beach. The cabin is surrounded by trees and nature, so it also felt like we were in the middle of the countryside. The “pink flamingo” , garden and garden furniture had seen better days though.

A nice minimalist place with everything we needed. While it’s just stone throw away from all the actions in Brighton, the cabin was in a quiet residential spot. When we were inside, it felt like we were in a cabin in the woods. The little one (under 3) loved it! The only downside for us was the walk to the cabin with a pushchair was not easy as the street was quite steep then there were steps to go down before reaching it. We did manage it but it would be a struggle if we went out after nightfall.

Great stay! Will for sure come back! Thank you ⭐️ It does get chilly on an evening, but you soon warm up in bed! And the bed was SO comfy! The sounds from nature were perfect just what we needed! It’s about 30 min walk Into the center so it was perfectly peaceful but also close to sight seeing! Cute cottage with a lovely private garden. Honestly it was just what we needed as a break away from London. Thank you ⭐️ Don’t worry about the toilet- doesn’t smell one bit and is actually really nice to use! I wish my home had one after staying here! Wish it was pet friendly, my dog would have loved it here! But I understand why hosts choose not to be 🍃

I loved my week spent at the Eco Cabin. It takes a bit to get used to the eco toilet, but if you're not precious, the space is unique and cosy. This is a truly rare gem. The private walled garden, free from prying eyes, offers a serene and secluded sanctuary. The absence of traffic noise, replaced only by the sweet melodies of birds, is a testament to its tranquility. The Airhost For You team are great at managing the property and is always responsive and professional. I have fallen in love with this rare find and hope to return for the calm solitude soon!

This was a good location, as it was super close to friends however it had a lot of flaws we couldn’t over see. It was absolutely freezing, the heating was a tiny little space heater thing that didn’t heat the huge space and constantly ticked on and off. It was so cold we couldn’t sleep, thats not taking into account that the bed was so uncomfortable for 2 people and if that wasn’t enough the heater kept you awake anyway from constantly ticking on and off. Might be better in the summer but on a cold winters day it was awful and wouldn’t recommend. We seriously thought about ditching it and paying for a hotel for that reason.

Very cosy place to stay. Quirky location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Brighton. Found this little place to be a very relaxing stay for the weekend. Stayed here in February and it was surprisingly warm inside. My 5 year old loved the top bunk! Would definitely stay again
