Good location for access into Brighton, but not being directly in the centre. Very close to Preston park. Apartment as described and hosts were very responsive to messages and flexible with earlier check in which was appreciated. Access to the car park is a little tight so be aware if you have a big car!

The property itself is really nice and the amount of space is a massive plus, as is the location, which has easy access to Preston Park, nearby pubs/restaurants, the city centre and easy travel out of town. We were disappointed that we found the bedroom to be dusty on arrival and we felt that some of the furniture (sofas) were a bit tired/stained, which maybe didn't match what we paid. The rest of the property was super clean and well equipped and the internet supported remote work, which was really important for us. Emma was a great host and was always available and solved a couple of minor issues for us very promptly, which was greatly appreciated. We had a great and very comfortable stay on the whole.

Dash and Emma were responsive, helpful and friendly hosts. We had an issue on arriving which was responded to and sorted immediately. The flat was open and spacious with high ceilings and beautifully decorated. So many things to appreciate including a fantastic shower, a bathtub, a very comfortable bed with pristine linens and everything we could need for our stay. The location was fantastic as we could get around anywhere on foot and we made the most of it with morning runs at Preston Park and walks to all the fabulous shops, the Lanes, seafront and restaurants/cafes/coffee shops. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. Dash and Emma were lovely and helped make us feel welcome on our trip. We will book with them again next time we are in Brighton.

This apartment is a comfortable and large space in a good location. If we had been informed of construction going on at the premises we would not have stayed here however. I’m sure when construction is over it will be very nice.

Brighton is a great city! We had a great time. The stay in the maisonnette was a bit disappointing. It looks studentish and after questions from our side we initially did not get much cooperation after which we decided to solve the small issues in the house ourselves. When we indicated that, there was more cooperation, but it was no longer necessary for us. That could have gone better.

The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean. It was great for our 2 night stay. We used the sofa bed as well as the bedroom and both beds were very comfortable. Our messages were answered almost immediately with advice for pubs etc. would stay again.

Great first floor maisonette flat located about 20 minutes walk from Brighton seafront. Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants in close proximity to the flat as well. Also very close to Preston Park which is a great place for a walk or a picnic. Very handy having parking as well. The flat is nice decorated with quirky artwork and lovely spacious living room. Kitchen has everything you needed including oven, dishwasher, washing machine and separate dryer, although no microwave. Great shower and bath and comfy bed too. Emma our host was very friendly and welcoming and very responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay here and will return in the future. Thank you

Firstly Emma was excellent, the communication is very prompt, made things much easier! Flat is very spacious, cosy and central. The kitchen is wonderful and has everything you need, Sage coffee machine was really handy. Parking right behind the building was a huge bonus and you can get through it with an SUV. Thank you!

Location was great for walking into town with parking available a real plus. The house was decorated lovely, well stocked and exceptionally clean. However, the main negatives were the TV box wasn’t set up so we weren’t able to watch this during our stay. Unfortunately, the neighbours played drum and bass until 2am on both the Friday and Saturday nights, directly below the bedroom which wasn’t ideal given we have a 2 year old daughter. It’s a real shame the two latter points let it down because it is a lovely flat and Dash/Emma were extremely responsive and accommodative

While this was a beautiful and well presented flat we went in November and found that there were no real provisions for colder weather, eg, extra blankets or heaters considering it is a large airy flat with no double glazing. We were so cold we only stayed 1 night rather than 2 as intended. Also there was no microwave and limited pots and pans (one standard sized saucepan) so not good if you are looking to self cater. So it ended up being a very expensive cold night away.

The apartment was exactly as described, very spacious, spotless and cozy. Communication was great before and during the stay. Approx. 30 minute walk to downtown Brighton. A big park nearby, great for walking the dog. If using parking, it is helpful to have a flashlight and wearing wellies. I had no issues getting to the parking behind the building with a Honda CR-V. We really enjoyed staying at Dash's place and will book again if going to Brighton again.

Lovely place, had all the extras too; tea, coffee, sugar, spices, oils etc, so great attention to detail on that & it helped us settle in very quickly as we arrived early evening and stayed a week. There is no escaping the fact that the entrance area leaves a lot to be desired, but my teenage daughter & I felt safe and the other residents we met were nice & friendly - the last two nights, there was someone playing music & talking quite loudly to the point that it could be heard quite clearly in the bedroom but it stopped by 11. Overall, very happy - thank you!

A very good apartment. Common and external would benefit from some tlc, but the apartment was excellent. The only quibble was no table! I booked this place to be near my son and daughter in law with their newborn to give them some space. When they visited for a supper, I had to ask them to bring trays to eat from! Strange as there was a well equipped kitchen, but it felt as if not encouraged to eat there. I rarely use a microwave, but some would find one useful. However, these absences did not spoil my stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend. The location is on a bus route and it is walking distance from the centre of Brighton. Communication was excellent. Thank you Dash!

Great location, the bus stop to Brighton is just across the road therefore we could leave the car in the car space provided. The entrance to the space is very narrow and I only just managed to get through so I think this should be advertised, I drive a new Peugeot 3008. The apartment is very clean, the house entrance is a little run down but all in all, it was a lovely base and would be looking to stay again in the very near future.

Arrived for a weekend with the girls, free parking, 30 min walk into Brighton or catch a bus from around the corner. Very spacious, great kitchen & bathroom. From the outside & entrance you would not expect the property to be as it at is was. Great stay Taxi home cost around £10 after a night out.

Large nicely furnished to a high standard, the outside and entrance to the property itself is a little tired which lets the building down but don’t be put off. The access to the car park is via the drive to the right of the building and it’s signposted 14A (which was a little confusing). The key pickup was easy it’s from the shop just around the corner which you can pull up outside. The flat itself is lovely, plenty big enough for two people. The only thing is it’s a little dark with the tree blocking the light from the window but didn’t bother us too much. There is a bus stop just across the road which takes you into the centre but it’s a gentle 25 min walk if you fancy walking it. Even though it’s on a relatively busy main road we didn’t get disturbed by the traffic noise. Overall a lovely flat which is as described would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay. three minor quibbles - we couldn't get the bath to work, (the shower was fine); entrance instructions weren't clear because we never found a school sign; possibly add some better reading lights in the lounge for old eyes. We'd happily go back again.

The apartment was perfect for our needs, as our activities were around Preston Park and we needed free parking (due to the rail strikes). The key is picked up (from a key box) around the corner from the apartment (you can park outside or walk from the apartment). The worn, Victorian exterior of the building belies the modern and spacious interior of the apartment. The living space is massive (with a comfy sofa bed), and the kitchen is stylish - there’s a breakfast bar rather than room for a dining room. Upstairs is a largish bathroom/shower room and a large double bedroom. It is probably a bus/taxi from/to the station/sea-front or a reasonable walk. However, if you’re driving the parking makes it very convenient, and cheaper! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Ps communication from the hosts was very thorough, including detailed directions as it’s not obvious which building it is and the location of the driveway to the rear of it.

I stayed for a number of weeks, so the flat’s size and split over two levels really helped with my work. Located at the south end of Preston Park, it was great for a bit of exercise and the local bars, shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Perfect. A really nice part of town. Very much recommend this place.

We found previous reviews very helpful for our arrival at the property. The key box is a short walk from the Apartment or just drive and park on double yellows briefly. (it's easy) The property carpark entrance is just before the actual house and is numbered **A which is on the brick pillared gate post. I have a large SUV and the entrance is tight but easily manageable. The front door key, you just push this in to it's fullest extent and then pull it out about 3mm whilst turning clockwise and bingo door opens. We were attending the Food festival at Preston Park which is right opposite and just 5 minutes walk. There are bus stops galore near apartment and we bought a roving ticket for just over £5 each and went to the Sea Front twice, The famous Lanes, The Grand Hotel for Cocktails, plus shopping and dining around Brighton. Bus numbers to and from town are number 5, 5A, 5B It was a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back. So much to do and see, I didn't want to come home. Don't be put off by house rules, they are necessary for yours & the owners safety & peace of mind, and for the benefit of future & returning guests we would recommend this fabulous apartment 100% and I am very fussy. I finally discovered Brighton and I love it ❤️ Thank you

We had a lovely stay in Dash's apartment. It was so spacious and perfect for exploring Brighton. Everything was clean and the bed was super comfy. We live in the countryside so thought the traffic noise would be an issue but you cannot hear it from the bedroom so sleep was never disturbed. Communication was spot on and directions for key pick up was clear. Now we know we have a place to stay near friends in the future we will definitely be returning.

Good sized place with nicely equipped kitchen and bathroom, very comfy bed and good shower. Communication from Airhost was regular and good. No issues with check in (note the lock box is located at a different location, a few minutes walk away). Parking space was a great bonus for us as we needed to travel by car. Unfortunately a couple of things meant our stay wasn't as pleasant as it could have been. Firstly, the desk that is shown in the photos in the bedroom has been removed (even though the amenities still lists 'dedicated workspace'). This was one of the reasons for choosing this place as we were working during our stay. Secondly, for 2 nights of our 3 we were kept awake until 3AM!(!) by very noisy neighbours playing loud bassy music and making extremely loud high pitched 'bedroom' sounds at around 2 / 3AM. I ended up trying to sleep in the living room, which was quieter, however as I only had a thin, small spare blanket I was very cold. We are glad to be home because of this as we are feeling very sleep deprived.

The property is beautifully designed and reflects what you see in the photos. Very clean and fully equipped kitchen & bathroom are available to enjoy. It’s in a residential location with a bit of a trek to the town centre and beach but it provides good value for the money considering generous space available. All instructions / info provided by the AirBnB host was useful and very prompt. Would recommend this place to others.

The masionette was fabulous, spacious and clean. Good quality furnishing etc. Felt very safe and secure there. We mainly walked to and from the property to the sea front (to conference centre), took about 25 minutes but not a bad walk, took taxi only once at £8. Only needed to contact Dash once but had a very quick reply and easily sorted. Happily recommend to others

The property was a bit tricky to find, particularly in a car, and not helped by the front door key which there is a definite knack to using ("are we SURE this is the right address??), but once we got inside the aprtment was just lovely. It was spacious, airy and quiet, beautifully decorated with lots of intersting art on the walls. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was divine, and there was a fully equipped kitchen (apart from no iron or ironing board). My only real criticism - and a real ommission - was that there was no way to eat a proper meal. There is a narrow breakfast bar - fine for a quick breakfast or a snack but not if you want a relaxed proper home cooked meal. In practice this meant we didn't spend much time in the flat as we had chosen it to be near our daughter who lives about 200 yards away so we just took the food to cook in her place on the nights we didn't eat out. Loads of communication from hosts so I was confident that if we had had any real problems they would have been sorted out quickly. In terms of location its probably about 20 minutes walk into the main area of Brighton. Its an interesting walk but there are also plenty of buses. It was fantastic to have the parking space so that we didn't have to take the car everywhere or find somewhere to park. Long may that continue! Thoroughly recommend Cafe Rust (5 minutes walk away) for a stellar breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Dashs place is in a great area of Brighton and the parking space is very handy. We parked up and didn't have to use the car for the whole trip, we just walked everywhere. If you don't fancy walking there's really easy access to public transport. The apartment itself is pretty much as pictured but maybe a little tired and in need of a lick of paint. It's very spacious and has everything you need with a great little deli round the corner to get the essentials. We had a bit of a problem with the bedding but airhosts and Dash were very quick to resolve the issue. The biggest problem we had was the drop off and pick up of the keys which is from a shop about 10 mins drive away but you can't park anywhere nearby. It's really quite inconvenient. The area nearby has plenty of bars and places to eat - highly recommend kitgum!

a great sized property in a good location, with close access to buses if needed! dash & jess were quick to respond to messages and were very helpful. there’s definitely a knack to unlocking the main door to the flats which can be quite annoying. minor things such as stains in the carpets & sofas, a dirty bedsheet and the bedroom needing a fresh lick of paint meant i couldn’t rate it 5 stars. also the walk to the store to pick up & drop off the keys is pretty inconvenient and i believe is something that needs changing. (plus, the store is also not open 24 hours like it states so good luck if you plan on checking out pretty early) though the car parking spot round the back of the building through the tight entrance, proved invaluable to us as we drove down and obviously didn’t need to park in the city. overall we had a lovely stay in brighton & probably would stay there again.

Overall, our trip was enjoyable. However, we found this to be in spite of the accommodation rather than because of it. The pervasive smell and uncleanly state, combined with the uncomfortable sofa bed, made for some very sleepless nights. For two people, the place would have been fine but as it was advertised for four we feel a bit cheated. The inconvenience of picking up the keys from a shop 15 minutes away from the Airbnb just made matters worse. The hosts were lovely and very communicative. However, everything that was wrong with the place couldn’t have been sorted by then in the time that we were staying.

We had a really enjoyable stay here. Once we worked out which way to get in (the big, black door) and made it to the maisonette, we were really pleased. The accommodation was lovely - spotlessly clean, all the amenities needed and very spacious for our family (2 adults and 2 children). The park nearby was good for the children and it was about 20-30 minutes of walking to get to the main area of Brighton but we caught a bus quite easily once too. It was really handy to have parking which was one of the reasons that we chose this property. The fixtures and fittings are of a high standard - all items were very good quality (decent cooker, coffee machine, dishwasher etc).

A fantastic flat which was very clean and had everything you could need! The only thing was that the key collection point is in the centre of town which was about 25 min walk/10 min drive to the flat! There is also a knack to the lock which lead to us thinking we had the wrong keys at first! Communication was great however, and all problems resolved very quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

unfortunately it has been a very unpleasant experiencethe flat can accommodate only 2 max 3 persons, and they accept as 4 . the sofa bed is very little a single bed . no indication where linen and bath towels were left in the apartment after several message to airbnb customer service and a good treasure hunt we find some linen ,dirty and not sufficient blanket/duvet were provided . the apartment has not blackout curtains at the sunrise we were widely awake with lots of lights in the apartment. the check in and check out a nightmarethe key should be picked up at a store in the main street of Brighton, no parking near by ...so the drop off. inside the apartment to go to the bathroom there are 2 set of stairs, very annoying!. I had an exchange of messages with the airbnb customer service and theywete unsefull and uncooperative. a disaster. ask for the refund ,the cs threaten me with extra charge ,after I send them the picture of the sofa bed ,who has a wooden slide broken. A nightmare.

I stayed for the week and it was a great base our time in Brighton. it was great to have somewhere to park the car, and the apartment was a really relaxing place to stay. It took us about 20 mins to walk into the lanes, and taxis were cheap on the days we couldn't quite be bothered to walk! Would love to stay again in the future.

Lovely and spacious, however the place is decorated as if you host party but have to be quiet after 10pm. Not a problem but use of space could do with a little table to dine on. Apart from that it is truly a home away from home and very cosy and welcoming. Had a lovely stay and would book again.

Spacious, well equipped, modern one bedroom flat. Dash is a good host when we could get hold of him. However the flat is managed by an agency- Airhosts for You whose idea of cleanliness and customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We had to provide evidence to prove the flat was not ready and unclean before any remedial action or apology was forthcoming. Conveniently the flat comes with parking. However the car park is behind the building and you have to walk through a passageway to get to the front of the building in order to access the flat. In bad weather the passageway floods and leaves it muddy which is slippery and dangerous.

We enjoyed our stay at the maisonette. It was a bit tricky to pick up the keys as we drove to Brighton and the shop that houses the keys is a fair distance from the flat. Bed was comfy with nice linen. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need. Good communication with Airhost for you however did miss the personal touch of being hosted by the property owner! Good location to explore the sights of Brighton!

Very comfortable place in a great location. Excellent amenities and appliances. Made for a warm and cosy temporary quarantine location over a chilly new year period. All communications were super-fast, extremely courteous and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful apartment - a real home from home. Stylish, comfortable and a very relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is small but in perfect working order, the bathroom is clean, spacious and the kids loved lazing in the bath. Nice big shower too! the bed was very comfortable as were the lovely large sofa's. There's a really nice ambience about the place and we will definitely want to stay here again next time we need accommodation in Brighton. One thing I must mention is we unfortunately had to leave a few days early for personal reasons and the host was kind enough to issue a partial refund for the extra nights. Totally unexpected and very much appreciated. 5 stars all round

The place was surprisingly big and stylish whilst also being very homely. Off road parking was super useful and it was in a good enough location to walk everywhere whilst not being too loud in the evenings. Would definitely stay again if I was going back to Brighton.

Dash's place is a very stylish and comfortable place well positioned in Brighton. Dash and Jessica were incredibly helpful with check-in and were always on hand for support if needed. The apartment is very well equipped and maintained. We had a wonderful holiday there and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Brighton.

This is our second time at Dash's place and we love it. The place is in a great location along side of Preston Park and just a few minutes away from the bustle of the city center, so its the best of both worlds. The place itself is fantastic with all the comforts of home, most importantly it is spotlessly clean and gives a feeling of being safe during this current pandemic. We will be back next year all being well.

I can't emphasise enough what amazing hosts Dash and his team have been. I checked in one hour before lockdown in the UK, and proceeded to stay for nearly five months! During what could have been a very stressful time to not be in my home, Dash and his team were thoughtful, helpful and went way above and beyond to look after me. The flat is amazing - Dash has impeccable taste! My favourite features included the epic coffee machine (I just bought one of my own it's so good!) and the top end appliances like the totally silent dishwasher (possibly magic?) The flat is situated about a minute's walk away from Preston Park which is one of the best parks in Brighton, and has a beautiful view from the second floor onto the tree-lined street below. There's a large car park behind the building and it was never difficult to park. I want to say a huge thank you to Dash and the team for being such amazing hosts and looking after me while the country was so chaotic.

Lovely maisonette with everything you will need for an enjoyable stay. Location meant a walk into town (or a very close by bus with a short ride, but you'd probably know that by looking at the map first). Safe car parking was a real bonus. The flat looks just like the photos and was stylish and comfortable. Making this my first choice if I stay in Brighton again says how I feel overall. Thanks to all.

Top notch cleanliness and nice interiors. Easy walk to the Lanes which has excellent tea rooms and shopping. Also nice to talk a break and stroll to Preston Park across the street. Highly recommend.

Despite being on a busy roadway, the lovely trees provide a visual barrier to the street. The good news is that the bedroom is super quite. I liked being away from the the center and in an area that was all about neighbourhood. I went to 6 yoga classes about 2 minutes away and was blown away with the level of yoga teachers. This was a hilite of my visit... a yoga retreat and a stylish accommodation.

We had some lovely days in Dash’s very nice, big and clean apartment. Only minus was a headache-inducing smell of paint from the stairwell. The painter himself was a really nice guy though - and he gave us some great Visit Brighton tips ...and I’m sure the stairwell will look great for coming guests :) Preston Park around the corner was a beautiful place to relax and we would also like to recommend the North Laine district. If we visit Brighton again someday - we would definitely see if Dash’s apartment is available.

Dash’s place is as described on the site. Nice new kitchen and bathroom. Clean and tidy and close to Preston Park. If I had any negatives it would be that the communal entrance is not in keeping with the actual apartment. It is grubby and smells musty and damp but don’t let this put you off.

A great sized apartment, which was stylishly designed. Entrance and hallway needs some attention, but proximity to central Brighton is great, walking to the Lanes takes about 30mins. Parking space is invaluable.

Lovely big space - great to have such a good base for our trip and a place with parking was a rare find in Brighton! (Car needs a wash now as the space is under a big tree!!) We enjoyed walking into town and got a few ‘app-based-cab-company’ rides for about £8 so that was ideal too. The shower was fab and two of our group loved the fancy coffee machine. A brilliant space for the 4 of us - even with the sofa bed out it still felt spacious. Thanks!

This is a really stylish flat, in a great central location. The only thing is it’s on a main road, and it was very noisy in the lounge because of this - particular as it was hot and we had all the windows open. We have a baby so this was a bit of an issue for us. It was unbelievably warm weather so we ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge rather than upstairs, but not much that could be done about that! We had some issues with inaccurate information for the parking, and the front door key didn’t work very well. Generally a lovely stay though!

The apartment is as lovely as it looks in the photos. Dash was fast to respond to queries that I had and resolved them as best he could. There were some great little touches like the coffee machine and coffee beans in the fridge. The parking space was a godsend and it is an easy walk into the centre. Lots of little shops and cafe's nearby.

What really made our stay in this spacious Airbnb great is the fact that Dash and Jessica from the airhost team made sure our every message is addressed promptly. It really made me and my parents feel safe and secure as tourists. Upon accepting our stay the night before, Dash sent us a personal message to ensure that we felt welcome to Brighton. The place itself is decorated very well and there are a lot of interesting artwork that I admired. The carpark is a bit of a squeeze for larger vehicles. Our rental company issued us with a larger vehicle but luckily we had someone confident enough to man the wheel. Also, it gets muddy especially when it rains hard so just watch out for that! Unless you're driving a larger vehicle that you're not sure of, I wouldn't let the carpark be a deal breaker since parking itself is hard to find in Brighton and it really is only a small part of your stay.

Great location for exploring Brighton. The parking space is invaluable as you don't need to drive anywhere within Brighton and if you do parking isn't easy. A great sized flat, with everything you need. Recommended for either a short or longer stay.

We had a perfect time at Dash's apartment. The whole interieur was so stylish and we loved the art on the walls. We walked into town centre within 20 minutes. Supermarkets, restaurants and different shops are close by. Dash and Jessica were always helpful, friendly and responded very quick. We would love to come back one day.

We stayed a small week in Dash’s place. The flat was really nice, with lots of amenities that makes the house a lot more enjoyable. The bed upstairs is really comfortable. And what makes it even more perfect is the emplacement of the flat; you can easily walk to the center of Brighton with the lanes and all the independent shops, and you have groceries shops really close too. The place was just a bit dirty when we arrived, but nothing too bad. I would stay there again. It was a great experience ! Thank you Dash !

We were one week in the house. The directions were very good and simple. Dash was very friendly and helpful and always responded very quickly to our requests. The apartment was very clean and tidy and is located near the Preston Park. A supermarket and several small shops are within walking distance. The whole stay was perfect and we like to come back.

Dash's apartment is exactly as described - it is located on one of the main roads into Brighton (for those with noise sensitivities to traffic, this might not be the apartment for them) and could be no better located for access to the wonderful Preston Park. A walk into the city centre is about 20 minutes and there are good local shops and amenities on hand. Communication is excellent and the check-in is quick and incredibly easy.

Absolutely beautiful 2 floor apartment on the 2nd floor of a 1900's (?) large town house. Very well furnished, lovely decor, loads of space - it has the wow factor, for sure. Off street parking behind the house is a huge plus. Town centre is a leisurely 20 min stroll, but you pass plenty of shops and fab cafés on the way OR catch one of the many busses. Taxi is about £7 to get back on a night. Lovely floral park across the road to catch the sun. Great value when compared to hotel prices with small rooms and zero privacy! Can't wait to go back. Book with confidence, you'll love it!

Dash’s apartment is spacious and spotless, exactly as it’s shown on pictures. I am very pleased my stay in this house! It’s got all amenities I need and there’s a fan provided on the top floor so it’s quite cool upstairs even in summer! The kitchen and bathroom are very new and well equipped. There are some local shops right next to the house and it’s very convenient to take a 10mins walk to Sainsbury as well. The bus stop is just outside the apartment which can easily get to the town center. Airhost is always on hand and responds quickly. Highly recommend it!

Dash’s place is just as gorgeous as it looks in the photos, what a place. It’s incredibly spacious and stylish, and a well thought out home making staying there an absolute pleasure - amazing lighting everywhere, Sonos speakers, a lovely coffee machine etc. It has a great shower and bath, comfy bed with DAB radio on the side, and a nice breakfast bar to eat at in the kitchen. I love this location - although next to a road, it’s right next to Preston park and the London Road cafes and restaurants, and there is a lovely deli around the corner. Dash is a very welcoming and kind host. I highly recommend.
