Our flat is in a great location, on the edge of the beautiful Preston Park in a peaceful residential area. It's close enough to the centre of Brighton that you can easily walk to all of the main attractions. The beach is just 1.5 miles away. There are some great cafes and pubs within a few minutes from the flat. The off street parking space is a real bonus!

This place is perfect for a couple, friends or a small family to use as a base for exploring Brighton.
The space
Situated on the first and second floor of this Victorian building is our spacious and well loved one bedroom flat. There's a sizeable, high ceilinged lounge with 3 sofas on the first floor and a newly renovated kitchen we're sad to leave. You're more than welcome to use our bean-to-cup coffee machine, and enjoy coffee and breakfast in the morning on the breakfast bar with 2 stools. There is also plenty of tea, if you prefer!

Up the stairs is the large double bedroom. There is wifi throughout the flat (it's decent) and Sonos that you're welcome to use. There is plenty of space to store any personal belongings. The bed is made up with fresh white linen and there are plenty of towels. On the same floor, the bathroom has a lovely bath and more notably a shower that I'm a big fan of. It's kept well stocked with toiletries such as soap and shampoo.

There's no need to worry about parking as we have a parking space at the back of the building off the main road.

We're very near to Preston Park and not far from the shops, pubs and restaurants of the London Rd area. Just beyond that are the funky, boutique/independent shops of the North Laine. The nearest shops though are seconds away and include a great deli (with fresh espresso beans) and a health food store.
You can walk or jump on a bus to the Laines, the beach and the centre of town from just outside the flat.
Guest access
You will have the whole place to yourselves during your stay, except for one room which is locked for storage.
Other things to note
A travel cot is available for £20 so please request this when you book if you'd like to use it.

We booked this property for three of us for a weekend event. The location is great, 10-15 min walk to the train station/ centre. The on site parking is a massive bonus too. The apartment is bigger than the pictures make out. The living room is very spacious, which is great as we needed to use the sofa bed, the upstairs bedroom and bathroom are also good sizes. The kitchen is well equipped and the coffee machine was a nice addition. The hosts were very responsive and flexible to make our stay work for us. I would happily stay here again!

lovely maisonette in old house. easy to find and parking, although narrow access for the car. Easy walk to town. convenience stores close by. Very comfortable beds and rooms. Emma was very responsive to the few queries we had. thanks

We really rate this location, but used to live around the corner, so probably biased! It’s a short 20 min walk to the seafront with loads of amenities along the way. Also regular buses if you’d rather not walk. Nice, spacious flat which suited our needs well. The kitchen was well equipped, but no microwave. The big downside for us was no table to sit at- there is a breakfast bar but we are a family, so that doesn’t work. There is plenty of space to add one, although I see someone has previously made that suggestion and it has not been actioned. We ended up sitting on the floor around the coffee table- which was obviously very uncomfortable and meant I noticed that the rug could have done with a more thorough vacuum. I also felt the sofas had a grimy feel after years of use - I think it’s time they were cleaned, just a vax cleaner would do the job, and it would give the space a much cleaner feel. We stayed during a heatwave and it’s warm upstairs but I SO appreciated the fan!!!
