'The townhouse' can sleep up to 8 guests and has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen with dining room, 2 living rooms, a games room and an idyllic private garden!
The space
Luxuriously spread across 4-floors, this home has large sash windows, beautiful wooden floors and masses of space. The house features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2-living areas, a kitchen and a dining area.Guests can unwind on the comfortable couch in the TV room after a long day of sightseeing or, if feeling more adventurous, can even play a game of ping pong in the games room!
We have aspired to maintain the house and its character, preserving its period features. Some of the windows are still from pre-war times and have survived bombing during WW2.
*Please kindly note that being a 200-year-old house, some of its wooden floorboards make a charming noise.*
LIVING AREA / KITCHEN / DINING AREA:
The exquisite kitchen is situated on the lower ground floor and has a light and luminous living area with a classic wood burner. There is also a large dining table seating up to 10 guests - perfect for large groups. Featuring French windows that open into the garden, guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast around the big table (if the Liverpudlian weather permits).
The kitchen includes everything you need to dine in, with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, cutlery and glasses. You are welcome to use our Nespresso machine - coffee pods are included and supplied by us! There is also a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron should you need it.
Unwind in the ground floor TV room with its big comfy day bed. Play a game of ping pong and keep the score on the antique Belgian scoreboard!
BEDROOMS:
We have created all bedrooms to be unique, expressing our love for a mix of simple contemporary lines, modern pop bits and character vintage pieces collected from around the world! All rooms have space to hang clothes and dressing tables/desks.
The house features 1 King room, 1 Single room with a sofa bed and 2 Double rooms.
BATHROOMS:
There are 3 bathrooms in the apt, all supplied with large fluffy white towels and starter toiletries for every guest.
Guest access
Guests have complete access to the house.If you have any other requests, please do not hesitate to ask - we want you to have the best experience possible!
Other things to note
The house is located in a residential area, as such this is not suitable for parties, events or celebrations and we have a strict policy against loud music or noise.We are unable to host groups of guests under 25 at this property.
Please do not take the parking permit home, kindly leave it in the same location where you found it upon your check in. If you take it home, or you lose it you will be charged £250.00 as it takes a long time to get replaced. You will also remain liable for future guests’ parking until the permit is replaced/returned.
The check in time is 3pm & check out 10am - Please adhere to these times unless otherwise agreed. An unauthorised late check out will incur a charge.
We provide bedding for all beds needed and a bath towel per guest. Bathrooms will be equipped with X1 hand towel and X1 bath mat.
Smoking is strictly prohibited and will incur a deep cleaning charge upon check out.
Kindly note that we cannot accept parcels delivered to the apartment’s address and cannot be held responsible for any lost/damaged items. If you do require a parcel to be delivered during your stay, please contact us for our office address.
Lastly, please note, during exceptionally busy periods we may need to gain access to the property to complete maintenance works. This is to keep the property in good order for your stay. We always give 24 hours notice of this unless there is an emergency which needs addressing sooner.
The keys will be available to collect from a local Keynest Shop - Liverpool - L1 Mini Market that is about 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive. This is located at Unit 1, 1 Sankey Street, Liverpool, L1 5EA. Use this time to familiarise yourself with the area and take in the vibrant City atmosphere Liverpool has to offer!
The store is open from 07:00 - 23:00 on Mondays - Thursdays, 7:00-00:00 on Fridays, 08:00 - 00:00 every Saturday and 09:00 - 23:00 on Sundays. If you are planning to arrive past the closing time, please let us know and we can arrange an alternative key collection method.
We are available from 9am-9pm each day to help with any queries via phone call or message. We do have an emergency out of hours team that helps out during later hours though they are limited in what assistance they can provide. Hence, any issues communicated outside of these hours will need to be dealt with the next day unless it is an emergency situation"

Great, beautiful house especially for the price. Ideally located in Liverpool in a quiet area. The house is extremely large and even nicer than in the photos!

Additional rules
• We do not allow stag and hen nights in our property as it is in a residential building. • Any fobs which are lost during the stay will be charged at £50 per fob. • Collecting the keys before 3pm is strictly forbidden unless otherwise arranged and will be subject to a minimum charge of £20 per hour or part thereof, for the delays in cause to our cleaner’s schedule. The location of the property was excellent for the wedding we were attending. Lots of nice bars/restaurants close by. The kitchen area and bedrooms were all very nice. Lots the bathrooms too. It is a 3-story property so lots of stairs. Not a problem for us but may be a problem for some.
The lounge sofa was very grubby and we didn’t use it. It really lets the house down as a lovely room. Loose tap, handle loose on shower, a bit tired in places.
There were only 2 wine glasses and we had to go to a local supermarket to buy some which is really disappointing. The basic’s for a house for 7 adults should be available.
The key collection was terrible. We had an agreed time of 3pm and didn’t get the key until 5.15. The man at the mini mart where you have to collect key from was helpful, but the issue was with the property agents. The first call the lady agreed to call us back and didn’t. When we finally spoke to someone who seemed to know what they were doing (Issac) he was great and organised for us to collect a key from the office. A special thanks to him. Having read reviews (posted after we booked the property) this has happened to others.

This was a great house, but we think university had just started so there were students up late walking down the street as it’s closed to university of Liverpool. The washer went out when we tried to do a load and Chris and Yana were very responsive and tried to get it fixed, unfortunately it wasn’t able to be fixed during our stay. They were great hosts

Practically Perfect in every way!
As a multi generation family of 5 people, the house on Falkner Street was fabulous!
More room than we knew what to do with, charmingly & wittily decorated with every modern convenience you needed to make it a home from home.
In the middle of the Knowledge Quarter and a lovely stroll into town - it met all of our needs.
The check in and out process was simply but thoroughly explained and super quick comms when I requested a little local knowledge.
Could not recommend enough!

This is a beautiful house with great potential but very disappointing management and shocking communication.
On arrival there were bags of dirty laundry and no clean bedlinen, towels or basics like toilet roll. This wasn’t resolved until the second afternoon.
Unsurprisingly there was no alternative accommodation that would take all 8 of us late at night. We requested compensation instead and have since been ignored for but other than automated messages, before being offered nothing more than a reduction in the cleaning fee as ‘goodwill’.
Liverpool is a great city with many alternative places to stay. Wish we’d avoided the hassle!

The place is lovely and really spacious. The bed were really comfy and the place is in a quiet area so we slept well. Only thing is it wasn’t clear about where to get the keys and that it will be at another locations which is a bit annoying as we didn’t have a car and was walking with 2 kids and luggage I feel it will be much easier to have a padlock with keys inside at the property for convenience. Also while communicating we did have some automatic answer which didn’t answer our questions, but overall the place was really nice.

Beautiful house, comfortable beds, lovely large kitchen.
Loud building work next door from 8 am, they were attacking the walls with a pneumatic drill. We'd chosen this house due it's quiet location but left with tinnitus.
Host and Stay have not resolved my complaint 4 weeks later. They demanded a £350 deposit which was not mentioned at the booking stage.
The disruptive building work and deposit were not mentioned in the booking landing page.

lovely property.
Feel there needs to be a heading re key collection as it was not obvious. we wrongly expected a key box or code at property. But you need to collect keys from a shop 10 min walk away . just needs a bigger heading on information.
Just a couple of little things we said needed addressing at the property we mentioned directly to host .
it's a lovely location nice little bistro restaurants nearby and easy walk to town .

Excellent location especially to university as our son was graduating and meant we were in walking distance. Also close to city centre and pub and shop close by. The house itself was fabulous. Large and spacious for 5 adults. Beautifully decorated and everything we needed.
Whilst the house was clean, it would've benefited from a deeper clean as there was lots of cobwebs and damp smell. Although we didn't use the fire, it was full of ash. Theres a nice garden that could've been turned into a nice outdoor space to sit out as weather was beautiful.However overall this was a beautiful house and we loved staying there.

A very spacious house, tastefully decorated and furnished. Very clean with excellent facilities. Lovely quiet garden. Location excellent as fairly quiet but close to central Liverpool. Would stay again.
Did have issues with not being able to unlock French doors to garden and agent was slow to respond. Eventually managed to open laundry door to garden which had a latch which had jammed. Also, unable to use shower in large bathroom on 1st floor as temperature control had seized. Despite these issues I would recommend this place to stay.

What an incredibly lovely stay this was - the accommodation is incredibly lovely!
Location-wise it’s excellent, with many amenities only a couple of minutes away, with the city centre only around a 15-ish minute walk away as well.
The space was incredibly clean and tidy, and we had everything provided for us we needed. We ate out on our 2 night stay - which in a lot of ways was a real shame, because the kitchen / living space in the house is fantastic.
Check-in & out was pretty seamless - only thing I might say about this is if location for collection could be even nearer than it is? Granted, it’s currently only a 10-15 min walk from key collection to the house - but I wonder if this could be brought even closer?
Only other thing in terms of constructive feedback would be regarding hot water - we seemed to run out on the morning before our departure, so went without showers.
Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a fantastic property - would happily stay again. Thank you!!

Our group truly enjoyed staying at Chris and Yana’s place. Great location and more room than our group of 7 needed! Check in/out was slightly inconvenient for us since we didn’t have a car and key pick up is at another location. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely recommend to others!

Location was great, 10-15 minute walk into town through lovely area. Rooms were spacious and lovely comfy beds. Kitchen was in basement, so lots of stairs if you were on top floor room, where 3 of the bedrooms were. Only master room on first floor.
We went to collect the keys from mini market and were told that they weren't there. I had received message to say property not ready until 4.30pm instead of 3pm check in. Not a great start, as two car loads of people, so had to go meet the other car at the property and tell them. No where to leave bags until check in, which was delayed. Cleaner gave us the key in the end. Permit parking area for one car only. So had to put other car in car park.

Great place. Very clean. Great location. Had no hot water in the main bathroom/shower and was extremely hot in the other bathroom. Disappointing, especially for the price.

Only downside was that the red sofas weren’t the comfiest to sit on, but luckily there’s more sofas downstairs in the kitchen which is more of a social space anyway.

The location was great for restaurants and sightseeing. The house was clean and had plenty of shower facilities and toilets. We spent most of our time down in the kitchen/ dining room in the evenings. We would recommend this to our friends are visiting liverpool.
To save time, it would have been ideal to have a key safe at the front door instead of having to collect it elsewhere. Also, the showers were a bit temperamental, running cold and hot. We do understand that the house is an old building. Apart from that, we give it 9 out of 10.

What an amazing house located in the Georgian Quarter of Liverpool. I’m from Liverpool but we needed a home large enough to accommodate friends for the weekend where we could all stay. Rooms are beautiful and large kitchen at the bottom of the house is a great communal area. Walking distance to Hope St, Bold St and the city centre. Chris and Yana were really friendly hosts, always responsive and gave lots of recommendations and checks to make sure we were ready for the visit. Would definitely recommend!!

Size, quirky, very comfortable
Started to think it was a scam. Was hounded by host company whilst on holiday with my family for another £250 damage deposit days before arrival having paid the full £700+ for the stay already. Ended up paying extra £25 non-refundable waiver. Host company very good at getting in touch when they want something but didn’t come back to us when the car park they recommended was full to offer any support until the next day. Expected to take keys to another location at check out.

The house is beautiful and had ample space for our family. We had a great time exploring the 4 levels of the house and the kids loved having their own rooms to relax and play in. Chris and Yana were really great hosts. V responsive. The place was gorgeous and a perfect location for all the things we wanted to do. We were a family group of 6; grandparents to adult children. The spaces were very flexible for each of us to use including the table tennis.
There are a lot of stairs which meant my parents had the master bedroom on the first floor. A tea making set up on the 1st floor would be helpful for making breakfast teas (kitchen is in the basement).

Vaste maison tout confort, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, conforme en tous points aux photos. Située dans un quartier calme sans être trop excentré. Le pub au coin de la rue est à recommander.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful Georgian house. The kitchen/dining area in the basement was warm and inviting, but would benefit (in our opinion) with a radio/Hifi unit and a TV perhaps.
This is because we found the lounge upstairs unsuitable for our use and we could not use this room at all. With a family group of 5 adults we would have preferred some big comfy sofas in the lounge to retire to in the evenings. For the price of the property, we felt pallet furniture wasn't great, although I can see it was clearly shown on the advert and it may suit a younger group.
This is our only down side to what was a nice stay. The bedrooms and many bathrooms were beautifully styled.

The unfriendly and rude man at the Keynest location.
The lounge needs somewhat updating and was not comfortable for 3 people to sit in.
It took a long time to find the place to pick up the keys as no.instructions were given how to get there or how to get to the apartment from there and the man in the shop was most unhelpful..Wasn't a very good start and we wasted a lot of time on the first day, however once we got to the house it was lovely and we could relax from then on

Location superb for a visit to my home city. All major sights and the heart of the city within walking distance. A host of excellent, characterful pubs, bars and eateries likewise. Self catering easy with numerous food shops just around the corner and a decently equipped kitchen. The house, a recently and basic, but quirkily refurbished Georgian terrace- a cut above many utterly bland, buy to let Air B&B properties, is a spacious, airy and stylish haven to return to after a busy day sightseeing and the small but private, leafy garden , accessible from the kitchen, was a great place to socialise and relax with a cool beer/G&T in the current heatwave. Great for a larger family or mixed group. Check out the bed sizes if more than one adult couple as only one of the double beds is king/super king size, though all the beds are comfortable.

This property is absolutely gorgeous and very spacious- ideal for a family get away or, in our case, getting ready for our wedding. The hosts communicated clearly and quickly and everything was extremely well organized. Check in requires picking up the keys about 10 mins away but was otherwise easy, and it’s hard to state just how beautiful the place is. As it’s an old house the walls and floors are a bit thin, but the amenities are all fantastic.

House was beautiful and in a great location to explore the city, located in the quieter Georgian quarter. Still walkable to pubs, restaurants and coffee shops.. We happened to stumble across the Belvedere pub on the walk back from town that had live music outside, which was super cool.
The house decor was quirky and cool with clear instructions for everything.. would love to stay again, thanks for having us ❤️

Such a beautiful stay! Thank you so much to Chris and Yana! We had a great time playing with the pingpong table and lounging in the kitchen! The kitchen had everything you need and more and the beds were super comfy! We would absolutely stay again!

Walking distance to everywhere but it is a 20 minute walk down to the waterfront which is fine but you might not want to walk there and back too many times in a day !

Huge house and plenty space but the kitchen / diner def the waekest link - in the basement .
Table might seat 8 but on vv heavy benches and a table you can’t move round which fits into a small alcove . Given size of rest of house and that it is a supposed to accommodate up to 8 people its hard even to have breakfast sitting down . The island in the middle of kitchen has only 2 stools.
Would be good to have a cafetière as Nespresso magimix maker was a hit and miss and only 3 capsules supplied .
Not sure why check in and out is with picking up, dropping keys 10mins walk away as a real pain .
No flex on check out at 10 am - when we asked to leave bags in hall for a short time we were told to pay .

I had a great time at Chris and Yana's place! The house was huge and was everything we needed as a group of external students travelling up to Liverpool for the week for University. The only downside was that it didn't have a microwave in the kitchen, but everything else exceeded my expectations.

The house was lovely and we had a great time. On arrival, the house was extremely hot and the instructions / controls were not clear to us. It seemed that the heating was either ‘off ‘or ‘on’. We had a very busy schedule and were reluctant to spend a lot of time trying to sort 2 boilers out. We emailed the owners asking for someone to come and fix it , but apart from thanking us for an update nothing happened. Random radiators came on at 4am etc. But we still had a lot of fun.&

I travelled with some University colleagues of mine, the location of the house was perfect for us because we were able to reach the Campus in just a few minutes on foot. We couldn't believe it when we saw how big the house was: there were all the bedrooms and bathrooms we needed, the living room and kitchen areas were huge and comfortable and especially clean. We appreciated very much the detailed check-in instructions and also how fast our hosts replied to all of our questions. We absolutely recommend this place!

This is a fabulous place, exactly as it looks in the pictures. Incredibly clean, beautifully styled throughout and perfect for anyone keen to experience the splendour of a traditional Georgian townhouse. The hosts were amazing, very communicative. We had a wonderful stay in Chris and Yana’s stunning house. The location was perfect in that it was in a quiet location and yet only 20 minutes walk to the centre of town and there’s a great place for breakfast just 2 minutes walk away. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen seemed to be well stocked with utensils (we didn’t do much cooking!) and it was spotlessly clean throughout. We would definitely go back.

The house was gorgeous and so spacious! There was a strong smell of mildew on the entry level, but that wasn’t an issue on the higher floors. The hot water wasn’t working when we arrived which wasn’t ideal but they sorted it for us by day 2.

Location is excellent- walking distance to central Liverpool and all it has to offer.
Nearby pubs, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.
The table tennis table was a definite bonus.
Would recommend this as a base and will gladly return.

Overall, it was great. The house is lovely and spacious as you can see in the pictures. The decor is charming as other people have said it is quite quirky in a good way. The kids loved the giant pac man in the games room and the lolly in the cellar. I loved having a sofa in the bedroom, and the house was clean and presented nicely with pretty throws and cushions on the beds. It was very exciting arriving at the house and discovering it all. We also loved playing ping pong every night and my daughter was delighted by the giant teddy bear.
The location is great. It took us less than half an hour to walk to the docks and it was ten minutes to Bold street where there were lots of nice places to eat. We loved Rudy's and the mostly Asian food market nearby. The taxi companies they recommended were great and came promptly.
The downsides were that the hot water didn't work on the first day. We followed all the instructions but it didn't work. They came as soon as we had notified them and sorted it out. The other thing was that the dishwasher didn't work properly and the previous guests had left a fatty grill pan behind so we had to wash up lots of glasses and dishes and the grill before we could make breakfast/lunch. The dishwasher worked at the bottom but not at the top. Once we had worked this out it was fine but it did marr the experience a bit finding mould in cups etc. The hosts were very kind and responsive to the problems we had and offered immediate help with the water, offering a cleaner and a promise of looking at the appliance. etc but by this time we had already cleaned stuff in order to eat. It was good to get the hot water sorted though.
I would recommend staying at this house if you are prepared for the niggles. It was still worth it. We loved Liverpool and our stay here.

Amazing massive townhouse that is extremely clean and in a great central location. A family of five (including an 82 year old) had a very enjoyable and comfy three nights in this quirky and tastefully decorated property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! The provided parking permit and ping pong table were extra perks!

The house was perfect for our party and length of stay. However we were disappointed by a number of things: - no parking permit (lost by a previous guest and not replaced, requiring us to move our car twice daily) - lack of laundry detergent, washing machine tablets, tea towels (we were told that the house only provides a starter kit but that is not explained in the description- we were expecting at least enough for 8 people for the length of our stay), - the backyard was dirty (cigarette buds, trash bags and trash) and as a result not inviting, -the trash bin was full and not available to us for the length of our stay and - the washing machine leaked and stopped working. Given the price that was charged, we were expecting more and at least some of these issues to be handled during our stay.

The house is in an excellent location and certainly big enough for a large family or bigger group. The bedrooms were clean and large. Unfortunately during our visit over saveral days the garden was overgrown and unkempt and therefore unusable in the long summer evenings. The bins were left in the garden unemptied and overflowing, there was rubbish in the yard and there was no hot water in the kitchen. These details were a disappointing let down in what should have been a great place to stay in a terrific location.

The house description is accurate. As a group of siblings together we used very few of the facilities (just the kettle), lots of good eating places nearby. It would have been good to have a house guide book for reference. The parking permit was not available for our stay but alternative arrangements were made for us. The location is easily walkable to city centre and waterfront.

This place is absolutely amazing. Lovely area in Liverpool and within walking distance of the Cavern Club (always a bonus).
The whole place was bright and spacious. We had great fun exploring all the floors and rooms. The kitchen on the lower level was so cool and we had a great game of ping-pong in the adjacent lounge too.
Check in was easy. Parking was easy. The pub a few yards away (The Blackburn I think) served great food and drinks.
We can’t wait to come back. 10/10 from us.

A lovely house in a beautiful part of Liverpool if you are a fan of Georgian architecture.
Very quiet and perfectly located for independent cafes/restaurants, a pub and for walking into town and down to the waterfront (approximately 25 minutes walk from the property).
A little tired, decor wise, and a few niggles during our stay, but these were quickly sorted by the management company.
Lots of stairs, so not suitable if you have any mobility issues.

Whilst we very much enjoyed staying in your lovely house we feel that it is let down by a few very basic things. It feels as though it has not been properly checked over for some time.
Outside the kitchen French doors there are soggy cardboard boxes, random bits of discarded equipment and a very rotten wooden bench giving the whole area a feeling of neglect. There were also empty waste paper bins here which presumably should have been in areas of the house where there were none. Loo brushes are rusty and the wooden skirting in the middle shower is peeling and damp.
Equipment-wise, there was no oven gloves, only one tea-towel, no kitchen cloth to wipe spills, no tumbler glasses at all and a random selection of odd-sized wine glasses. We were also given only 2 dishwasher tablets for a 4 night stay. Bath towels were minuscule and there was only one each, no small towel for drying hair as is usual.
We had a problem with the heating because the kitchen boiler was switched to water only. This was dealt with quickly by telling us what to check but the problem wouldn’t have arisen if there had been some instructions in the house, which we were told there should have been.
We would have liked to light the log burner as the weather was very cold but didn’t know whether this was ok or whether we could use the logs. Simple instructions would have made this clear either way.
The house was beautifully clean, the beds very comfortable and the bedding good quality. Communication was excellent but for the price we paid we would have expected a much higher standard in those things mentioned which are not expensive to provide but make all the difference.

We had a lovely time in Liverpool. The house isn’t quite as high spec as we expected from the photos but we enjoyed our stay and it in a great location (walking distinct for most of the major sights).
When we had a small issue the hosts responded promptly and this was appreciated.

Amazing place, in a great location in Liverpool. Plenty of room, amazing big bathroom on the first floor and comfortable beds. Parking is provided, but remember to leave the permit, unlike us as we're now posting it back to them. Great to have so much space, including a games room and a big kitchen and dining area. Very reasonably priced too.

The listing does not do this place justice. Spectacular amount of space, really warm and has everything you need. Key collection was hassle free, found parking easy enough and location was handy. A wonderful centrally located spacious stay. plenty of room for up to 6 people or more with many bedrooms and large bathrooms. living areas and kitchen are similarly sized with tasteful decorations and even a ping pong table!
hosts are lovely, helpful and always ready to help you out with your stay, cannot fault them.
Only some minor things about the stay such as the wear and tear of the place such as the attic door and some fixtures can be a little disappointing as well as some issues with hot water, otherwise a spectacular property

My family and I had a great time staying here! Great location, very clean and the house is super cosy. We loved how unique and quirky all of the furniture was.

Lovely place. The house is well situated in the city centre. It boasts very large rooms that are very cozy. The communication with Charlie went smooth and he guided us through the check-in and check-out and the house rules. The check-in/out can be simplified though. Also the house is very warm, but do take note that we had both thermostats (which appeared to be for separate regions of the house) in the same place, so that made the heat for the upper floors not work most of the times, because the downstairs temperature was met. Not sure if those are movable and they do seem smart, but more instructions are needed for those specific items. Charlie was very understanding of our need to extend the check-out, due to an earlier appointment we had that did not meet the schedule of the store where we were supposed to drop the key off to. Everything went well and we would stay there again.

The place is really big and very well decorated. Firm beds, clean sheets, strong water pressure for showers were nice. They even gave hotel-like bottles of shampoo and body wash. They furnished the place with high-end appliances. The location is great and is walking distance to attractions such as the cathedral and The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. Shops/restaurants are also very closeby. Although the place is centrally located, it is on a fairly quiet street so noise from the street isn't a problem. Parking was easy as the owners gave us the parking permit and there is ample parking on the street with a private owners' only parking street which is perpendicular to the house. There was a problem with shower and Charlie got it fixed the next day. He replied very promptly to all our queries so full marks for communication. The only thing to keep in mind is that the key has to be picked up (and dropped off) at a shop nearby. It wasn't an issue for us as we had a car. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the place!

An amazing house in a great location. It was the perfect spot for a weekend with another family to explore Liverpool. We did have problems with the heating in the kitchen but it was sorted out by the afternoon of our second day. The kitchen could be better equipped - e.g. there were only 4 normal glasses and 4 slightly odd wine glasses - the rest were flutes or shot glasses - but generally it had what we needed. We didn't use the garden because the weather was terrible. A couple of minor cleanliness issues.

The house is beautiful and massive like the listing suggests - really well equipped and in a charming location and walkable to all the main parts of Liverpool with neighbourhood bars and cafes nearby.
Just make sure you are totally aware of the key pick up from a local shop before you book as it’s a bit of walk.

Lovely big house. 3 good sized double bedrooms, one having an en-suite. Shortish walk to Bold Street, to lots of restaurants and bars. Only downside is the 10 minute walk to the off license to pick and return the house key.

We were a group of 6 ladies and we had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. It is In a great location, within walking distance to most things.
My only criticism of the property was the sofa’s/soft furnishings, particularly in the lounge. They really have seen better days and could do with up dating. The garden seemed unkept and the lawn could do with mowing.
Also, the procedure for key collection and dropping off is a real pain. A lot of air bnb have drop key boxes at the property which in my opinion is a much better way of doing things.
Particularly when you get a call after dropping the keys back to say they do not have the keys. They were subsequently found but it was a real worry for a while.

In the lead up to our stay the responses to queries were prompt and very helpful. The check in process was smooth and there were very clear instructions on how to get the keys .
The house really is very big and well decorated.
Unfortunately there were several big issues with our stay
Firstly, there were bags of garbage left in the garden from a previous stay (it appears there are signs on the doors asking that rubbish be left at the back gate). This meant there were a lot of rats in the back garden, and in very close proximity to the house. This was unhygienic and did spoil the weekend. It meant we could not open doors or windows on the bottom two floors as the rats were on the walls too. We also obviously could not use the garden. I understand that you are never far from a rat - especially in a city - but the number of them was driven by improper disposal of waste in the garden and was frankly quite disgusting.
There were issues with the boiler - the water didn’t heat the first morning of our stay so we had cold showers. The agency were prompt in answering calls and to their credit did send someone to check it that same day.
There was not enough bedding or towels provided as per the advert - they did bring these around on the second day also.
The house is huge, it is in a fantastic location, and it does have a lot of promise. I do think that unfortunately the weekend was spoilt by the above issues, but if these were to be addressed then it would be somewhere worth considering.

Great location, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. Communication was fantastic and queries were promptly answered by the owners. The family had a great time; all were very happy with the home and sad to leave. We hope to visit again soon!

This is a handsome house which has bags of space. It is very well maintained and has attractive period features. A very elegant and stylish place to stay in Liverpool. The house is in the Georgian Quarter so the surrounding area is equally elegant and impressive and rewards walking around just looking at the architecture. It is very close (a few minutes' walk) to both cathedrals which run along Hope Street with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Bold Street (even more cafes and restaurants) is 5 minutes walk away and leads you into Liverpool One for anyone who needs retail therapy. Despite being so close to the centre of Liverpool and the fantastic Pier Head/Albert Dock, the property is in a quiet residential area. And it has a nice little garden which catches the sun.

Used this as a base for a week's family holiday in Liverpool with grandparents and toddlers. Great house with lots of space and plenty of places to entertain the kids and enjoy family meals. Good location, near enough the city centre, but far enough out to be less hectic and busy. Some very nice pubs and bars on the neighbouring streets and its right in the middle of the Georgian qtr which is very pleasant to wander round.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful airy and spacious house with flowers everywhere. All the rooms are absolutely lovely and the bathroom is huge and felt very luxurious.
It’s super central but also not so in the thick of it that it’s noisy. Very easy to walk everywhere you’d want to go.

This is a stunning home to spread out in while staying in Liverpool. We were three work colleagues and there was plenty of space so we didn't feel we were on top of each other. Beautifully decorated. Very clean. Very easy check in and check out. Good communication with 24 hour phone access.

Fantastic house in a great location. Very spacious accommodation with excellent facilities. Very stylish and modern. The stairs were a good workout for us but should be noted for anyone who has mobility issues (kitchen/diner/living area is in basement). We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend for large friend/family gatherings.

We were staying in Liverpool as our daughter will be going to uni there this year and we were checking out the area. Chris and Yana’s House was perfect for us. The Georgian Quarter is full of great places to eat or have a chilled out coffee. We were also only a 5-10 minute walk from the shopping centres and easy walk to the docklands. We really enjoyed our stay and Chris and Yana’s house made it even better. We would definitely recommend staying there.

This house was beautifully decorated and a pleasure to stay in. It was perfect for our group and the facilities were brilliant. It was close to the city centre and the parking permit was handy. The team were attentive and kept us well informed before our booking, I'd love to stay here again.

We had a great trip to celebrate my parents’ 30th wedding anniversary! The house is lovely and in a perfect location - near to many restaurants, cafes and pubs on Hope Street. Beds were huge and comfortable. No basics for tea and coffee though so be prepared to bring your own.

Amazing space for a large group. Beds are super comfy. The place is done to a high standard. There is no microwave but there are cooking facilities. Lots of stairs across 4 floors! Location is great just a short walk (15mins) to the city centre and close to some landmarks such as the cathedral, bars and restaurants.

Fantastic location and walkable to just about everything from the docks to the Baltic Triangle. Perfect home for a large family or group and breakfast and afternoon snacks in the backyard couldn’t be beat.. We fell in love with Liverpool and the house and it’s neighborhood was a big reason why.

Cons: The amenities were light though (one small towel per person!), little motel soaps...
The key pick up and drop off is inconvenient, particularly if you have a lot of bags.

It's advertised as sleeping 9 people but only actually sleeps 8, so unfortunately one of our guests had to sleep on a sofa.
No parking permit was available so we were advised to park in a nearby carpark and the cost refunded.
The company that's works on behalf of the owners were quick to respond to our issues and we're very apologetic.
The garden was quite over grown so we didn't enjoy any drinks or breakfast outside as we'd hoped.

An absolute palace! Honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed! The house has such beautiful decor, the kitchen is amazing to cook in and the beds are comfy. The only thing that let it down was the previous tenants had taken the parking permit with them, but I guess that’s a freak mistake.

The house is beautiful, absolutely stunning and it’s huge! It has everything you need and more and in a great location. It was completely spotless too!
HOWEVER
checking in and out is a nightmare, you have to collect/drop off keys at an office which is 15minutes from the property. They don’t notify you of this until a few days before you arrive, had we known this before booking I probably wouldn’t have booked. We arrived and it was pouring down, so we had to walk in the rain from the station to the office as it’s down a back ally that isn’t easily accessible
Then we had to return the keys by 11am on the day of the checkout!!!
I really recommend that you get someone to meet & greet at the property
The house was also very cold when we arrived, I could not get the heating to work, I spoke to someone at the hosting agents (he was super helpful though) and he finally worked out that it’s all controlled remotely by an app on someone’s phone, so it took a good few hours for the house to warm up, at least 4!
It’s a great house, just let down by a hosting service that doesn’t really know how to care for its customers

The property was huge and really well presented, it had all the things you’d need for a short stay, and a very cool place to spend a few days.
Lots of space to hang out in, and we loved your table tennis room!
The location is superb, there’s lots to do locally and it’s only a short walk into the city centre. A really interesting part of the city.

Chris and Yana’s house was perfect for a weekend in Liverpool for 7 friends. It is spacious, stylish, clean, and comfortable, with quirky decor touches and everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better with lots of great bars and restaurants on the doorstep, and walking distance to shops, docks, cathedrals, museums etc. I would definitely revisit the house with family or friends. This worked amazingly as a working space for the week, as well as being ideally placed to explore local bars and restaurants in the evenings.
The images on Airbnb really don't do it justice! A much bigger, brighter and more creative space than we were expecting - we've already recommended this to friends for when they visit the area.

The house and location are prefect we had a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas and hosting a number of homes ourselves the management communication spoils the experience. We not expecting to be hand held but if I had not been experienced with Airbnb I would of been nervous to book with the lack of communication. The management company need to go to the house and understand the house so they can communicate easily about the space and redo the check in and out standard responses they are sending out.

Amazing space, amazing location. Arrived on a cold day without the heat on and it took several hours to warm up the house. I understand the challenges of warming the house from afar but it would’ve been valuable to know beforehand so we could’ve planned accordingly.

Photos can't capture the feeling of this house: spacious, generous, yet warm, welcoming, calming and inspiring. We were not quite sure as to which rooms we were expected to use...so we ended up using all of them (except Jana's and Chris' bedroom ;-) We just felt at home.

This is a beautiful home in a great location, the historical Georgian quarter, only 15 mins walk away from Lime Street station. The hosts are friendly, laid back and helpful. Can't imagine staying in a better place in Liverpool.

Having just spent a couple of night with Chris and Yana I can thoroughly recommend both them as hosts, and their beautiful home. The location was great too with lots of restaurants near by and a short walk into Liverpool centre.
