And for the ultimate thrill-seekers, our air hockey table will keep the adrenaline pumping. Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about relaxation—the couch in the game room is there for you to kick back and enjoy your favorite TV shows or movies.

Step outside, and you'll be greeted by a delightful outdoor haven. The large deck, just off the living room, invites you to dine al fresco with your loved ones. With ample seating, an umbrella for shade, and a propane BBQ at your disposal, savoring delicious meals amidst the serene surroundings is an absolute delight. The expansive yard beckons you to engage in friendly competition at the horseshoe pit or gather around the inviting firepit for cozy evenings under the starry sky.
NOTE: Lake access is a short walk to Tuyll street. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
NOTE: Parking is limited to 3 vehicles
Max 1 Hypoallergenic dog is allowed but must sign pet addendum
Linens are available for $20/per person. This included Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement. Primary renter must be over 25, photo id is required. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Max occupancy at all times is 6, violation will result in removal without refund. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections)
Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:

❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.

The pace of life slows down in Bayfield. When you vacation here, it's easy to experience each day to its fullest. Take a 10 minute stroll to village downtown to fine exquisite dining restaurants/bars and cafes, from pub fare to fine dining. Many boutique shops to browse that unique find, or one-of-a-kind art pieces. Or take a bike ride and see the sights of Bayfield, such as the splash pad at Clan Gregor Sq. or Pioneer park for a pickup game of volleyball, or the shores of gorgeous Lake Huron for a beach day and follow up with the best sunsets in Ontario! Bring your kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, boat, hiking shoes and escape to some good adventures and make memories!
Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl's getaway weekend—we're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.
Bayfield is a "Blue Community" - visitors won't find bottled water in public facilities or at events but they will find a portable refillable water bottle station operated by pedal-power and five water bottle refill stations at public facilities located throughout the village.

I'm Jennifer, I started CottageStays to share my own home with like-minded travelers who appreciate escaping to life at a slower pace. I've never forgotten how lucky I am to call Lake Huron home. Now more than ever, everyone is in need of the kind of peace and quiet that escaping to the lake can bring. It's my absolute privilege to be the one to provide families and friends a special place to gather and create memories while exploring an area so near and dear to me.
We keep our cleaning fees low by giving you the option to bring your own linens—or, for $20/person. you can rent ours! This includes sheets, pillowcases, bathroom towels, and more, all freshly laundered and ready for you. (Just remember to bring your own beach towels!)
You are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. We travelled from Ireland to spend a week with our family who live in Canada. Cottage was in a perfect location with a 10 min stroll taking you into Bayfield main street. Gamesroom in basement was fantastic and was great as we had to stay in for a few days due to the smoke from the wildfires. Kitchen had everything you needed and more. Comfy seating area to watch TV in evenings. Quiet neighbourhood and was lovely to see the squirrels and rabbits in the back garden in the mornings. BBQ was great and there is a fireplace but we didnt use it. Highly recommend booking here 👌

Blue Skies House was an absolute joy from start to finish. It was clean, spacious, well-stocked, and perfect for exploring the Lake Huron coast. The basement is the standout. We had a blast with the ping pong table and other games. There was a supermarket less than a ten minute walk or four minute drive away. The ridiculously adorable town of Bayfield was a ten minute walk or five minute drive away. The sunset from the pier was otherworldly beautiful. Goderich, with its boardwalk and sandy beach was less than twenty minutes away. We had a superlative vacation and the house was a big part of it. 10/10 would stay again.

Jennifer's cottage was a great getaway for us. We were traveling from the US and needed extra linens which she was able to accommodate. The house was very clean and comfortable. We liked having the laundry soap and softener available for our use! The front porch was nice in the morning and the afternoon porch in the shade. It's a nice backyard. It's unfortunate to see three neighbor's backyards, but it is still very peaceful.

Just got back from Jennifer's cottage. She is an extremely responsive host and the place was even more beautiful than advertised. We rented based on the game room but because of the beautiful backyard and weather we did not get to use it. No complaints at all though.
