We spent a fantastic couple of days here. It’s quiet and peaceful and beautiful. You can hear the lake waves from the outside sitting area and see the sunset through the trees. We spent a fair bit of time down on the beach swimming, sitting on the giant rocks soaking our feet, looking for cool rocks and pebbles. It was super fun to swim out to the sandbar and just hang out there. The sand bar was just a very short swim away while we there….maybe 20 meters? The beach though small (wide but a thin strip along the water) was perfectly fine for us. It was sand and pebbles sometimes and sandy sometimes, I guess the lake changes the beaches all the time which was interesting to us as we are from Western Canada. The inside of the cottage is beautiful, very nicely decorated and very clean with everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable. The host was great! Among the best hosts we’ve had in our Airbnb experiences.

Jennifer was amazing as a host for our stay at Serenity Sunset cottage. Jennifer provided over and beyond info and tips for our stay with beautiful welcome note and homemade treats for our puppy. Cottage was beautiful and felt like home away from home,the view of the lake especially during the sunset is incredibly beautiful. We will definitely return again . Thank you so much to Jennifer to making this experience wonderful with amazing memories.

We visited this amazing cottage this past weekend. The host Jennifer was very responsive and helpful. Jennifer even provided a list of things to do in the area which was great. Check in and out was very easy. Jennifer was very flexible for checkout time. The view of the lake is breathtaking. The cottage is exactly as described. We would definitely return again

My friend and I had a lovely, relaxing getaway at Jennifer's cottage. The cottage is only steps away from Lake Huron, and the view was amazing. We really appreciated the flexibility with check in and check out times. We will definitely be coming back.

Our stay was fantastic! Privacy was great, location was amazing & the indoor/outdoor space was awesome! The living room is beautiful! One thing we did not realize is how many stairs there were to take to the beach and how steep it was but it was manageable forsure! There wasn’t much of a ‘beach’ when we went, maybe that was just the time of year we went as the waves were crashing right up to the rocks so you couldn’t actually lay down anywhere. That being said, the hot tub was so clean and made our weekend 10x better! Lots of spiders in the front and backyard but what can you expect, your at a cottage! Good thing was they never came in lol!

Excellent stay, Lots to do in the area.. The perfect combination of cottage and elegance! They even left us homemade dog treats for our French Bulldog. We will most definitely be back!

The setting is peaceful with great views of lake and the sound of waves hitting the shore. The town of Bayfield and amenities are a short drive away. The cottage is tastefully decorated and we loved the amazing indoor and outdoor living spaces with fireplaces and cozy sectionals. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was incredible. The beach is a hike down many stairs which was not an issue for us by may be a consideration for some. It was too cool for us to enjoy the beach but lake would be great on a hot summer day!

This is the perfect cottage for a getaway weekend! The location is spectacular, the amenities are great and Jennifer is the perfect host! Our group had no issues communicating with the host and the cottage was very clean. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to relax and enjoy watching amazing sunsets!

Time spent at Sunset Serenity Shorehouse is sure to guarantee an amazing time away with friends and family. Jennifer is an incredible host. The check-in process was seamless and the stay was effortless. The home has all you need to relax, cook an amazing meal, play games, and explore the natural beauty of the area. A great place to visit even in the winter; we were in awe of the areas natural frozen beauty. The house is close to all the amenities you need (food, gas, etc.) but far enough to be private and relaxing. We will definitely be back again!

We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was perfect! Check in was easy and we were greeted with a welcome gift of local ground coffee and chocolates. The place was clean and well equipped with all that we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the two main bedrooms and the beds were quite comfortable. We didn’t use the loft room but it was clearly not suitable for adults! Outside was so lovely right on the water with stairs going down to the waters edge. The covered patio with a beautiful outdoor fireplace was the perfect place for night time drinks and a good laugh. During the day we enjoyed the use of the hot tub, board games and walked around the neighbourhood. We also drove into town one day for fresh coffee and browsed the local shops. This location was a beautiful spot for a girls weekend. Thank you!

Great place to relax and enjoy some incredible sunsets! Great views from every window from the back of the cottage. The place was very clean and comfortable with everything you need to feel at home. The cottage is situated right by the water and easy to get to the beach with just a little trot down some steps. Our dog loved splashing in the lake while we took in the magnificent sunsets from the private deck. The hot tub was a special surprise too! The little town of Bayfield is only a five minute drive away and is a must see.

This is the perfect cottage for a getaway to unplug, unwind and reconnect with nature. The cottage was pristine, very clean and so cozy. The property is beautiful! The view is magnificent! Beautiful sunsets and beach and nature walks were good for the soul. The surrounding areas have some lovely shops and restaurants too. Jennifer and Lea were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed and then some! They even left homemade treats for our dog Lulu 💕🐾 Outstanding on all levels! Charming home with a stunning, panoramic view of Lake Huron. We enjoyed the inside and outside amenities, most notably the outdoor fireplace. Bayfield Main Street (with coffee, brewery, pizza and more) was just a short trip away.

Wow. World class sunsets are the real joy of this spot. Outdoor fireplace and beach access made for a restful break from every day life.
