The space
INSIDEFloor-to-ceiling windows in the living room frame out those incredible lake views and bathe the space in natural light. When it’s too dark to enjoy the views, turn your attention to the living room’s SmartTV or just enjoy good old fashioned conversation around the gas fireplace.
Start your day in the eat-in kitchen enjoying a delicious breakfast and incredible lake views. Only 4 chairs pictured but there's a bench to easily seat 6. The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you need to create all your family favourites, with full-size appliances and plenty of counter space. Plus, the front porch houses a propane gas grill for easy meals.
OUTSIDE
Those incredible lake views continue outside on the covered patio where you can enjoy dazzling sunsets with a cold drink in the Muskoka chairs. If the evenings turn chilly, cozy up with a fire in the wood-burning fireplace. Whether you’re looking for your daily dose of vitamin D or prefer your fresh air with plenty of shade, the pretty yard has great spaces with both sun and shade.
Private access, approx 80 stairs lead to a beautiful beaches providing fun day and night. On the way down to the beach, you’ll pass a sunset deck, another perfect spot to watch the day end. Down on the beach, splash in the gentle waves, explore the ever-changing sandbars or just soak up the sun during the day. At night, gather around the beach campfire at night with songs, s’mores and stories while you watch the stars come out.
NOTE: Last year 2025 we had very little beach.. but it changes everyday depending on lake levels and what the lake pushes up. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

Other things to note
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections, may have outside front door camera)Max occupancy at all times is 4, violation will result in removal without refund.

Parking is limited to 3 vehicles
Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:

❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.
❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.

We had such a wonderful time here! The cottage was very clean and cozy and was exactly what we needed. It was very rainy while we were there which added to the ambience and helped with our main goal of relaxing! We drove into town one day which was so cute - a real life Stars Hollow! We mostly spent our time at the cottage and in the hot tub. It was the perfect winter getaway. We are looking forward to going back in the summer and can only imagine how beautiful it will be with everything in full bloom. We will definitely explore Bayfield more the next time and take advantage of all the hiking trails in the area as well as the lake and the great patio!! Jennifer was a great host - very responsive, kind and accommodating. All in all, an amazing getaway!

We spent Family Day long weekend in the beautiful Bayfield area, and Jennifer's place was the perfect escape. The cottage was immaculate from the moment we walked in. A lovely touch that immediately won us over: there was a welcome cookie waiting for our dog, Cola. Small gestures like that say everything about the kind of host Jennifer is. We had a brief hiccup with the internet, but Jennifer sorted it out within the hour without any fuss — a great example of how responsive and caring she was throughout our stay. The hot tub was an absolute highlight, exactly what we needed after a long, busy week. We also spent hours around the kitchen table playing board games, which is exactly the kind of weekend we were hoping for. Thank you so much, Jennifer. You made this trip genuinely special for the whole family (Cola included!). We very much hope to return this summer. — All the van Niekerks

We stayed at Jennifer’s place for the weekend and had a fantastic time. We were welcomed with a personal note and treats for my dog, which was a great touch! Jennifer was a great host and very responsive to questions we had before and during our stay. The cottage was clean and well kept. We loved the hot tub with the lake views.

Anna and I had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday in this beautifully located cottage. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas and secluded enough to feel peace and tranquility. We enjoyed falling asleep to the magnificent waves of Lake Huron. The Cottage had all we needed and the beds were comfortable. Having said all that, the service provided by Jennifer and Shauna was second to none. We certainly hope to be back and will recommend it to our friends.
