The space
Our marina penthouse is one of a kind: a luxurious island of calm within the hubbub of the city. Boasting two double bedrooms, both equipped with walk in wardrobes & one with en-suite, living room with 50” smart 4K TV, and fully fitted kitchen this is the perfect home away from home.Stay in and cook up a storm, or take a scenic walk along the river to the Albert Dock and explore the bars and restaurants. Or simply open a bottle and sit back on your private South-facing balcony showcasing the marina and picturesque docklands.
With space enough for up to eight guests this is equally perfect to gather together with family & friends, or a truly memorable stay with somebody special.
Please note that this apartment is located within a quiet residential building, and therefore is not suitable for parties or louder groups. *Our sliding door is fully fixed and working again*
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive private access to the entire apartment & car park for the duration of their stay.Other things to note
The apartment is located within a residential building, as such this is not suitable for parties, events or celebrations and we have a strict policy against loud music or noise.We are unable to host groups of guests under 25 at this property.
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor.
The check in time is 3pm & check out 10am - Please adhere to these times unless otherwise agreed. An unauthorised late check out will incur a charge.
We provide bedding for all beds needed and a bath towel per guest. Bathrooms will be equipped with X1 hand towel and X1 bath mat.
Smoking is strictly prohibited and will incur a deep cleaning charge upon check out.
**Please be aware that whilst the building does have a lift we cannot be held responsible if this does not work during your stay - this has not happened yet, but we do need to make guests aware.**
Kindly note that we cannot accept parcels delivered to the apartment’s address and cannot be held responsible for any lost/damaged items. If you do require a parcel to be delivered during your stay, please contact us for our office address.
Lastly, please note, during exceptionally busy periods we may need to gain access to the property to complete maintenance works. This is to keep the property in good order for your stay. We always give 24 hours notice of this unless there is an emergency which needs addressing sooner.
The keys will be available to collect from a local Keynest Shop - Baltic Triangle - Go Local that is about 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive. This is located at 46 St James St, Liverpool L1 0AB.
The store is open from 07:00 - 00:00 everyday. If you are planning to arrive past the closing time, please let us know and we can arrange an alternative key collection method.
We are available from 9am-9pm each day to help with any queries via phone call or message. We do have an emergency out of hours team that helps out during later hours though they are limited in what assistance they can provide. Hence, any issues communicated outside of these hours will need to be dealt with the next day unless it is an emergency situation"

Additional rules
• We do not allow stag and hen nights in our property as it is in a residential building. • Any fobs which are lost during the stay will be charged at £50 per fob. • Collecting the keys before 3pm is strictly forbidden unless otherwise arranged and will be subject to a minimum charge of £20 per hour or part thereof, for the delays in cause to our cleaner’s schedule. The location was good and made access around Liverpool easy.
The collection of keys could have been made easier. The information could have been sent by email as well as in the app.
The door to the apartment had 2 locks but had only to use one and time it with handle. So there was a special technique which the lady on the phone told us about.

Nest siste dag oppdaget vi at en mus løp gjennom leiligheten på det ene badet. Når vi da undersøkte videre fant vi muse bæsj i sengene, og på gulvet. Da vi tok opp med utleier sendte de en person for å tette hullet hvor musen hadde kommet inn, men når vi ønsket en kompensasjon for å ha sovet i muse skitt, blir vi blant avvist.
Host & Stay mente vi måtte finne et nytt bosted siste natten for å unngå å bli syke, men var ikke villig til å finne erstatningsbolig eller dekke hotell denne ene natten. Utrolig dårlig service av et såpass stort selskap.

The property was in an excellent location. Great views, very quiet.
The property had numerous problems including,
1) The patio door is extremely stiff to open
2) Despite being advertised as accessible it is impossible to get a wheelchair in the hallway due to the angle.
3) There were lamps and lights which did not work.
4) The cookware and pans had the coating coming off.
5) The oven was filthy inside.
6. The washing machine was faulty. The drain and filter are blocked.
7) The microwave had a significant amount of rust on it.
8) There were a number of wooden slats missing from one of the beds which meant that my husband was unable to sleep the first night. He subsequently had to rearrange the slats in order that the mattress was properly supported.

The location was perfect for our need.
1) Needs a revamp of paint and flooring. Not as pristine as the pictures.
2) Entrance to the property is dirty filled with bird poo and just unclean.
3) Living space and kitchen are smaller than the images but the two bedrooms are true to size.
4) The biggest problem was key collection, the faff in finding it and the faff of dropping it off. We received too many conflicting messages about where to pick up the key, literally different addresses.
5) Also the property cheekily steals £25 or £10 non-refundable damage waiver fee from you! These were not listed on booking.com you only find out a few days before check in.
All in all, we won’t be rebooking!

Excellent place to stay: lovely location and amazing views. Very convenient for major sites in Liverpool. Great to observe the Marina.
Only slight issue was trying to find 125: The AirBnB location shows 124, the googlemap is to "The Keel" a different unit entirely, and our experienced taxi driver struggled to find it. Otherwise it was great!!

Had a great time with my family at this place! The apartment is spacious and very beautifully decorated. The big windows gave great view of the dock and the kitchen was also very well equipped. The location and parking space was convenient for our travel around the city by car. Highly recommend!

The location was great as we was travelling to use the M&S bank arena. Loved the space in the apartment. Free parking was great too. Very clean.
The lovely balcony area felt old and unsafe to use as the wood felt like it would break if you went out on it. Especially if we all did. We didn’t allow the girls to go out as it seemed so unsafe and we was on the top floor.

Communication could have been better in the week leading to the booking and the venue wasn't properly clean when checked in. We had dirty dishes in the sink and dirty tissues on the sofa as well as dirty blankets. Also we only had 2 toilet rolls between 7 of us for a 2 night stay. The apartment itself had a gorgeous view and was bigger than the pictures showed, the beds were also very comfy.

Very inconvenient to have to get keys from a supermarket. Why not have a key box outside as others do. Lock to front door sticks. The apartment was probably 1 of the best we have used with air b+b just a pity about the cleaning. Very annoying that there were threats of charges if any sign of smoking. There was a huge pile of cigarette butts on the balcony. This was immediately visible when we entered the flat-unacceptable!! The most annoying thing is that 2 days before the stay you are told that you must pay an extra £25 for damage insurance. This is a ransom demand as without paying it you don’t get the keys. TOTAL CON!! And it only covers £500 rip off. Otherwise I can recommend the apartment but host and stay need to smarten up their act. Good flat, nice area, slightly too expensive but would use again

View over marina was lovely.
Booking said that ‘total price = £785.70’, including a service charge and cleaning fee. However, wasn’t allowed to check in without either (a) buying £25 damage waiver; or (b) leaving a deposit which would only be returned minus £10 ‘admin fee’.
Had to collect keys from a different address (10mins walk away). This was changed, on the day of arrival, to a different location – a similar distance away, but very inconvenient, especially with luggage. After checkout, the keys had to be dropped off there too. Again, very inconvenient.
Lock on the front gate didn’t work.
Pictures online look great, but various aspects of the apartment were messy and dirty – e.g., the bin looked like it hadn’t been cleaned (see photo) and there was a pair of women’s knickers in one of the bedroom drawers. Not acceptable.
Will not stay there again.

I would not recommend Host and Stay as a host. The overall experience with Host and Stay as been stressful, from booking through to checkout.
Firstly, the host went against Airbnbs policy, and asked for money outside of the booking for a damage waiver. This was not mentioned in the listing. Despite reaching out to Airbnb for support, I ended up paying the extra fee out of fear of the reservation being cancelled.
Checking in was like playing an escape room backwards. We were sent to multiple collection locations, to be told to find a hidden lockbox, but still no keys. After an hour, a member of the team met us at the apartment with a set of keys. The delay was compensated with a late check-out but I kept receiving conflicting messages regarding the check out time.
The apartment was in a nice location and a walkable distance from the city center. However, I would not described the apartment as luxurious. The apartment was clean but tired, worn and in need of some tlc.

Wonderful location, right on the water, so bright and spacious with windows all around. Fab balcony to sit out and enjoy. Really gorgeous property, spacious rooms, en suite, sofa beds, Nespresso coffee machine, parking space, easy 10/15 min walking distance to the main restaurants, museums, shopping etc. We loved it.
Oh my goodness, collecting the keys was awful!
I hadn’t received a code needed to collect the keys and confusingly, their communication stated two different shops from which to collect the keys, so after running from one shop to another, I spent ages on the phone. Eventually we got given directions to the spare keys tucked away in a lock box on a random fence. Very long drawn out hassle which took an hour at least.
It’s in the centre of town , great location, but means I appreciated having an ear plug.
Found the mattress was a bit bouncy.

Great place to stay and close to the centre of town without hearing all the noise at night. It’s about £5 in an Uber to town if it’s raining which is worth it! And there’s a couple of local pubs which are great!

Veldig kjekk leilighet nede ved Marinaen! Litt stress å få tak i nøkler men dette hadde vi lest om fra tidligere opphold. Måtte innom 3 butikker for å få tak i nøklene. Dørlåsen på hoveddøren nede ved inngangen var veldig vanskelig å få låst opp men fikk det til etter litt om og men. Terrassen kunne fått seg en tur med høytrykk spyleren, men ikke noe problem. Litt vond lukt fra badet ved inngangsdøren, men det visste vi også om da flere hadde kommentert dette.
Sove sofaene som er i leiligheten er veldig dårlige å sove på og dobbeltsengene er 150cm brede. Men man overlever.
Ellers et tipp topp opphold! Kommer gjerne tilbake!

Great location and lovely to wake up on a sunny morning overlooking the marina.
Close enough to walk into the city or close to Albert dock restaurants. A well equipped kitchen for cooking in.
Underwhelming compared to the pictures, but it is a great layout of flat and lots of space. The decor is lovely although looking a bit tired in terms of wear and tear/stains. Bathroom and kitchen clean as you would expect.
We had a 2+hr delay to check in which was a real pain with a baby. They were very apologetic, although even an hour prior notice would have been a lot more manageable.
Had a good time overall but probably wouldn’t stay again.

Access to the apartment,the keys could have been labelled,locks difficult to open. A hard copy of the user manual would have been better, instructions for things like the heating, wi-fi and oven would have made life easier. On our last stay there was a terrible sewerage smell within the apartment.

Stayed with 5 friends to celebrate a big birthday for 2 nights. Apartment is beautiful. Wonderful views across the marina from the balcony and windows from one side of the apartment and towards the docks and many landmarks from the otherside. Very modern decor and furnished. Lovely balcony. Great location for walking to the docks and getting into the city and attractions. Only negative was there were only 4 pods for the Nespresso. Would definitely recommend!

It had a lift which was great, considering we had a lot of bags.
Spacious apartment, plenty of parking, quiet in the evenings. The flat had quite nice furnishings.
We had to pick up keys from a local shop (which seemed really weird, never had to do that before) but when we got there the shop keeper told us they were at a different shop. Which wasn’t great since we had a long day travelling and then had to find this other place (not the shop stated to us) The building itself was very scruffy and run down plus dirty in the halls, it didn’t make a great first impression.
The area itself seemed sketchy. The actual flat needs revamping, broken skirting boards etc.
The balcony doors do not have handles on the outside so you can’t close them when you’re out there.
The heating system didn’t seem to work properly, it was freezing in there most of the time, which wasn’t great with a baby.
Could have provided more than one tea towel and a clean one too and some extra washing capsules. Instead of just two.
And also some espresso cups for the machine would be ideal.

I wanted to mention that the bed in the bedroom should ideally be a queen size. However, the current mattress is a bit too soft and not firm enough. It might affect your sleep and movement during the night, which was the only downside for us.

Host cancelled our stay at 12.15pm. Our check in time was 3pm. This gave us little or no time to find a replacement. We finally managed to find alternative accommodation of equal quality at Booking dot com at less than half the price and in a great location. Needless to say we won’t be staying at an Airbnb again. Booking dot com all the way from now on.

Lovely Stay at this wonderful apartment !
We enjoyed 4 nights at this apartment, there were 2 families of four and we all had plenty of room. The information pack received prior to check in was a great help and we had no issues when arriving/departing. We would of loved to of used the balcony more but the October weather was not kind.
Only little niggle was the lack of cooking implements such as grill pan/oven proof dishes (unless we just missed them).

A really lovely and spacious apartment. It's a 25 minute walk to Liverpool One and the rest of the shops and restaurants. Check in and out was simple and well communicated.
The kitchen had a good array of crockery and cutlery, enough pots and pans, but if you are cooking main meals the kitchen needs a wooden spoon, colander and oven dish.
We would highly recommend Marina View and hope to visit there again soon.

The apartment is great and excellent for a holiday visit. Very spacious with large bedrooms. Everything worked well. We appreciated very much the central heating, kitchen, wifi and smart TVs. Also the great views of the marina.
Important to understand how to operate the central heating which operates best when in manual. Its explained best in the web instructions and links with photos.
The blue gate entry in the video is easy to open however the Building entry door, not in the video, is tricky in the dark as it needs finess to open. Maybe needs a new key.
The lift is great as the apartment is on the top floor.
Car parking is excellent and does not need a permit unlike what it says in the instruction behind the apartment entry door.
A simple clothes horse for drying washing would be a usefull addition.
We had one issue with the balcony door in the kitchen which was addressed quickly by the host team.
We had a great time staying here and would return again

The apartment was easy to find.
Very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and everything was easy to find. There is lots of space and the views from the windows and balcony are spectacular.
I found the hosts easy to communicate with and always helpful.

The apartment is perfect for exploring Liverpool. We walked into Liverpool daily, with great restaurants & things to do. We also loved being super close to Albert Docks.
The apartment it’s self is huge!!!
All in all we would 100% stay again & recommend to friends.

Pros to our stay:
• Great location
• Spacious
• Lovely views
• Good amenities
• Value for ££
A few minor issues we come across:
• Broken couch bed in living room
• sleeps x8 but more suitable for x6 (lack of duvets; bedding etc)
- Bath wouldn’t drain
We made what we had work and didn’t feel the need to complain.
We let Charlie know about the bath on the day we left and got a message back almost straight away. I’m sure if we had communicated the above issues they would have been sorted in a timely manner.

Very pleased with my stay at Mariners Wharf. Check in process clear and well prepared.
The location is ideal, being a walkable distance from the city centre but also far enough for it to be peaceful.
The apartment is clean and well presented with everything to need to enjoy your stay. Notable point for hot & powerful showers !

Beautifully presented apartment with amazing views overlooking the docks. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. It's 20min walk from the city centre or a 5min taxi (£6 on Uber).

I stayed here with my wife, my folks and our two year old daughter and it was perfect. You are a 20 minute beautifuk walk by the Mersey into all the action of Albert Dock but also quiet in the evenings if you have kids and want to be away from the nightlife. Charlie was also incredibly responsive if we needed anything and was always lovely and helpful. Only downside from me was that you had to pick key up and drop back in a location 10 minutes walk away. But at least instructions on this were clear. would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful apartment with amazing views around the Marina. The rooms are large and very spacious and everything was immediately clean. It was a lovely place to stay in Liverpool, so close to everything, Albert Dock is only a 10/15 walk or book a taxi (which there are many) and it’s only under £5 to be dropped of in the middle of everything. There is a small local shop nearby and a few pubs and Yacht Club if you fancy a local drink. The details to collect the keys were so easy to follow and straightforward to follow. We chose to get in a taxi that took us to get the key and then onto the apartment, this cost us from the bus station only £7. Don’t hesitate to book this apartment, I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is spacious, lovely and really nice. Beds were really comfy and a great night's sleep. The views were amazing and tranquil. Nice touch having two tvs in bed space and in lounge area. Location is brilliant, great stepping stone being a 5-10 minute walk from the baltic Market. Key collection was a quick process but some challenges in location
Booking process felt like a bit of an interrogation. Had to explain multiple times our 'purpose' in Liverpool, purpose was partners birthday. Was sternly reminded not to use decorations or bring others guests. Had no plan to do so. Once this was bypassed it calmed down a bit but felt a bit off putting almost scam like! Key pick up location was a bit tricky to find a parking spot. Final minor point was lack of fizz or any sort of welcoming touch. I know this is optional and you never "expect" this but would have been a nice welcoming and luxury touch price considered in my view.

The moment we opened the door into the flat and stepped inside we were blown away. So often photos of AirBnBs are let's say "creatively" taken and you end up slightly disappointe. But this wasn't the case at all, the photos don't do the places justice. The view alone was incredible, the flat is modern, spacious and so well equipped. We travelled as two couples. The communal areas were really comfy and well equipped, yet there was still the option to close doors and have our own time too, without feeling boxed in.
When I read the check-in details I felt it was a bit convoluted having to pick up keys from a shop etc, but the reality is it was no problem at all and so easy to do.

Toilet flushes quite hard to operate. Lift did not go down to ground floor on Tuesday. On Thursday when we left it was not in operation, as being repaired. The Ground Floor button in the lift was broken.

The location of apartment was amazing and the veiw from the balcony was just beautiful. The area was quiet but still close enought to Albert Docks to be part of the action if you wish, we walked to the centre each day and didnt find the need to use the car.
The bedroom and living room areas were decorated beautifully and q very good size. The sofa beds didnt have bedding as standard so may need to request beforehand. The bathrooms arent as modern as other areas but fit for purpose.
The heating can't be controlled as has a password, again not sure if this can be changed at request as we found it a bit cold in the morning.
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again when visiting the city.

The building and apartment was easily accessed from the adjacent car park once we had collected keys from the shop.
The apartment itself was clean, neat and tidy, although some of the fixtures and fittings were tired/insecure but this didn't detract from the overall feel of the place. The beds were soft and comfortable with clean linen provided. We used the sofa bed in the lounge which was able to be put up by our son without any trouble.
The only downside to the apartment we found was the noise. Being close to the docks and the city centre and a police headquarters, traffic noise was continuous along with numerous sirens throughout the day and night. This didn't seem to bother my children though!

The view was fantastic. It was amazing to wake up and see it each morning. We arranged this trip for a specific friend as a birthday present and she was moved by the amazing view, the loveliness of the stay. Could not rate it more. There was parking which was perfect for us.
It takes a while for the entire apartment to warm up but there are plenty of throws to use in the meantime!

The views, the location, the size and the cancellation option.
There was an issue with picking up the keys from the convenience store, but Josh from the office was with us within 20minutes with a spare set. There were a couple of very small niggles, toilets didn't flush properly, no full length mirror in the master bedroom, or hooks on bathroom doors. Overall we had an amazing stay, couldn't fault the cleanliness. The views were amazing. The penthouse could be a tad noisy at night with empty container lorry going past but would in no way stop me from staying here again.

Excellent stay, this apartment is everything you will need, there were 5 of us staying and we found it Spacious and clean, not far from main centre around a 15 min walk or £6 taxi ride!
Shop to collect keys from was only a few mins away from apartment so easy check-in too!
Was lovely sitting out on balcony watching boats and swimmers in the morning.
You won’t be disappointed if you book, would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Liverpool again.

Spent a long weekend staying in this apartment for two big family birthdays and we have nothing but good things to say about our stay. The apartment is situated with a view of the marina on the balcony and had plenty of room for the eight of us to sleep comfortably. The place was clean and well stocked with all we needed. The hosts sent an infirmative guide of how to check in and use all the facilities and had a number to call if we had any questions.

Fantastic place. Really well-designed space, great views, super clean, beds and bedding so comfortable, well-equipped and easy to use kitchen, relaxing living space. Communication and instructions were great from start to finish. Private parking and fast WiFi was much appreciated. Easy walking along the dock front to Albert Docks restaurants and the city center. The TV did not work and this issue wasn’t resolved despite reaching out to the owners. The flushes on some of the toilets were also not working. Outdoor bench was broken.

The company kept us in the loop and offered us an alternative, which was very nice although did not have the outside space the waterfront apartment has. Charlie and Heather could not do enough for us. I would recommend this team for looking after you.

The location was excellent and the apartment was large with fantastic views. The sitting room and balcony were lovely.
It was a shame that there were a few maintenance issues in the property. The toilets would only flush on a short flush, the blinds weren’t easy to use and one was stuck closed and another stuck open (meaning a lack of privacy) and the balcony furniture was slightly broken. The main problem was that the sliding door between the second bedroom and the lounge was broken and didn’t shut. Whilst this wasn’t a problem for us if we’d been travelling with children or other relatives it would have been quite difficult and as there was a notice in the wall about it then we felt we could have been made aware in advance and chosen whether or not to stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this apartment. It had such a nice homely feel. The views are incredible from every room! The space is incredible! (Spoilt for space with just myself, husband and little daughter staying at the apartment for 2 nights). The place is well equipped and it was an easy drive to everything with our car. Nice that there was also free parking at the apartment.
Only thing that I can see needs improving are:
1. The sliding door that separates the living room from the 2nd bedroom is faulty - should be fixed. The toilet flush in the master bedroom is broken in that it's too weak to flush. Good that there are 2 toilets in the apartment though!
2. It would have been nice to have more food products in the fridge/kitchen. E.g. Milk (But that is just my personal preference)
Overall though great place to stay and I would definitely book again.

A lovely spacious apartment that is great for families to stay in. It was too cold to use the balcony but it did look like it would be a nice place to sit out in. It does cater for small babies/children with a travel cot and a high chair which was very useful. It is in a very quiet location which was one of the reasons we booked this particular apartment as many others seem to be above bars or near nightclubs and we didn't want the noise with young children. Its not too far to walk into the centre and is path way all the way. I have reported a couple of issues like a stuck sliding door and a missing blind which I have been informed will be fixed but I have seen these on other reviews.

Poor lighting (some lights not working), extractor fans in bathroom not working, extractor over hob not working, toilet flush only worked on short flush (both toilets), window blind missing in bedroom and some didn’t work, couldn’t switch on lights under kitchen cupboards so dark when using cooker/work surface, no oven glove or hand towel in kitchen, no welcome folder including instructions for heating, cooker, recycling info, etc. Outdoor furniture broken. Basically apartment tired and needing a facelift - certainly not luxurious and our expectations shrunk on arrival (first time we’ve ever had to pay a deposit so we were expecting luxury). Couldn’t see a carbon monoxide alarm in kitchen where boiler is situated.

I booked this apartment for a Christmas getaway with my family. 2nd time I’ve booked using this company. It’s a lovely apartment that came with a parking spot, hence me booking it. Great views & from every window. It was easy to find & instructions /pictures sent prior to arriving made locating the lock box simple.
Apartment is spacious & furniture is well suited to the apartment. Good size bathrooms x 2.
TV - Has Netflix, ITV hub & BBC i player. This should be added to advert so prospective guest are aware, no standard channels available. Plenty of plates & glasses but would benefit from microwaveable dishes.
Communication with host was excellent, prompt response to all my messages.
The apartment can host up to 8 guest, it would benefit from a bigger dining table and some trays so guest can eat in the lounge if they choose to. Sadly the sliding partition door from the bedroom to the lounge still awaiting to be fixed, so unable to use or close fully. Host needs to look into this.
Overall a lovely stay with my family & an enjoyable Christmas. Nice to have had a lovely Christmas tree, decorated & with lights in the lounge. Lovely finishing touch.

So me and my partner have had 4 getaways in the UK this year and I got to say our time in this penthouse was amazing, best place we've been, very clean, rooms were warm, all amenities you could ask for, balcony was great with amazing views, being at the waterfront was amazing, everything was close by. Communication was great from start to finish, didn't have a single problem being there, wanted to stay longer and would definitely be coming back in the summer ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾

The word ‘luxury’ may be a misnomer. Location was lovely and views pretty. If staying as a family beware that the bed for the couple is little more than an oversized single so sleeping arrangements were exhausting.
The balcony flooring needs a lot of work, flooring looked too dangerous to stand on and wouldn’t let my children outside.
Apartment was very clean and had everything you needed, but very cheaply decorated, and looking very old and tired, a number of maintenance issues. And the outside is overgrown and in bad need of maintenance.
Blinds to shut out lights were broken and flimsy so resulted in bad sleep.
Complained about poor check in experience but was not taken seriously (I ended up having to leave my children alone to find the lock up box, was very stressed, and the team told me it was my fault, and because I swore in my panic (I said for fucks sake) I was treated like a Victorian leper) so didn’t contact team again for rest of trip.
A perfectly acceptable accommodation but advertisement did not meet expectations unfortunately.
A shame really because I’d highly recommend Liverpool as a destination.

A lovely apartment for a family or two couples. Clean and well appointed with the bonus of a parking space.
Please be aware that the partition door between the bedroom and lounge dose not fully close so privacy is an issue particularly if you intended to use the lounge as a bedroom. Their is also no blind on the door to the balcony from the lounge so beware if you like a dark bedroom!

We stayed here for a family celebration and had a lovely stay. The location was perfect for us. Albert Doc was about a 15 minute walk and perhaps another 5-10 minutes into the City centre, Hope Street and Cathedral. The flat is pretty quiet especially on the Marina side and the views were lovely from the lounge and the balcony off the kitchen. The apartment is well equipped and the greatest asset for us was an off road parking space which is like gold dust in the City centre. As other reviews have mentioned the communication with Charlie and team was excellent and very quick. Overall we had a great week. Thank you.

Very well equipped with lots of storage and very spacious. We felt very comfortable here and would highly recommend. Katy, Joe and Team were very helpful and always answered messages quickly.
The only small negative would be that there is a sliding door between the bedroom and sitting room which is jammed and does not fully close. This wouldn’t stop us coming back here again though.

This place is super gorgeous, but a lot smaller than in the pictures so bare that in mind! we wouldn’t have wanted to have anyone else there and we were 4 of us. Its an pretty OK apartment - I wouldn't quite call it luxury though. The location is great, with amazing views - this makes up for the issues. We had problems with check-in as there were no keys left for us so had to wait 20mins for someone to bring us some. When we did get in, the apartment was absolutely freezing. It took a while to work out how to turn the heating on but once we did it heated up fairly quickly. However, for a "luxury" apartment I would have expected the heating to already be on and the apartment comfortable when we arrived.
Its a big space with a quirky design and very well furnished with all the amenities you could want in the kitchen etc.
Unfortunately none of the TV's had an aerial reception, although the internet did work very well so able to use Netflix etc. The kitchen and bathrooms really do need some updating, they're pretty tatty. There's a socket in the hallway held together with parcel tape (pretty dangerous!) and the divider door from the lounge to one bedroom was jammed half shut (although I was made aware of this before we arrived - it didn't bother us so not a problem).
Communication throughout was absolutely brilliant, even when we had an issue. Charlie replied almost instantly every time and couldn't do enough to help. Despite the issues, I would recommend this apartment, their customer service was great.

Under 25’s be careful! We were accepted for the booking but once we gave our age over, we were informed that our booking could not go ahead. As the description did not mention no under 25s I was able to argue my case & after a lot of back and forth, I was allowed to continue with my booking. Regardless of this, the communication was always quick and helpful. The use of a self-service lockbox made it very flexible for us to arrive. The apartment was true to the photos, apart from a broken drawer. Very clean, comfy beds & the view of the docks from the balcony was lovely!

Really lovely place. The apartment is stylish and comfortable and benefits from a great view. It’s lovely to sit on the balcony and watch marina life unfold. It’s a pleasant 15 minute walk to Albert Dock, with its excellent restaurants, and not much further in to town. Only concern was the spotty internet, which would have been an issue for anyone who really needed WiFi. 4G was fine though. We were there for 3 nights, over the weekend, and it wasn’t noisy at night or at any other time. There’s a deli a 10 minute walk away, which I think is called Delifonseca, and does incredible bacon. All round great stay and we’d be back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

This stylish space is a nice haven to relax in. The views are great and it’s a short walk to Albert Dock and the city. Also Ubers are plentiful in Liverpool. The place was very clean and there was a lot of space to spread out. 2 bathrooms came in very handy. Would stay again! Thanks to the team.

It was a leisure trip for us. The apartment was exactly as we expected - spacious with stunning marina views. We didn't have any problems checking-in although you have to follow the instructions precisely to get hold of the key box! The apartment was very clean too. The only issue we had is the dishwasher wasn't working which we reported. It didn't get fixed but very thoughtfully, they did all the dishes for us while we were away so full marks for that. I would recommend this place to others.

This is a lovely apartment, set in a wonderful location with amazing views of the river, near to great local attractions. It's so close to the Baltic area and the Docks and city centre. A perfect place to explore from.
My family and I stayed there for a couple of nights and wanted to stay longer. We would definitely stay again.
The internet was playing up a bit but the hosts responded quickly when I contacted them about it.
It was really easy to check in and out with excellent communication/directions from the hosts.
I would definitely recommend.

Good space, great location with amazing views. Quiet and generally clean. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the kitchen as a result of a faulty window/door which let in a very cold draught. The apartment is probably better suited for summer use as it was very cold when we first arrived although this could have been as a result of the faulty window/door and the heating being off. There were also other signs of general wear and tear e.g. only one of the spotlights in the en-suite bathroom was working and one of the sofa beds was broken. The team were very responsive when we notified them about the faulty window/ door (of which they were already aware).

This Air BnB property is incredible! Beautiful views of the water, spacious bedrooms, and set in a great location that is very close to the Baltic Market and Albert Dock. The apartment is easy to find and is in a great location to access the city, particularly the docks and Liverpool One end of the city centre. It is a 5-10 minute walk along the riverside to the Albert Dock, and from there another 5 mins into the other main areas, and provides a quiet, safe base if you are visiting with small children as we were.
The apartment itself is clean and spacious with great views over the river and docks. Private parking is provided in a gated area, so is really safe. We had a tiny hiccup where instructions to pick up the keys had not uploaded for us (I should have checked prior to arrival). We contacted the hosts who immediately responded, sent the information to resolve the issue and also came back to check all was ok as well. We were really happy with how efficiently this was done. We had a lovely, brief stay and I would recommend the apartment and hosts to anyone visiting Liverpool.

It was a mixed experience for us with our stay at this apartment.
There are many positives we can list. The apartment is stylish and sparkling clean. It is spacious with 2 large bedrooms, has great view of the waterfront and has large windows with good natural lights. Pillow and beds are extremely comfortable. It has lift access which helps with the luggage. The area is quiet and is close to the docks and the exhibition/convention centre (10min walk). A nespresso machine with some coffee pods is also a big plus, so the kitchen is well equipped with most amenities (cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer/dishwasher) and sufficient cutleries and bowls/plates.
However, our experience was partly tarnished by a difficult check in which felt very much like a treasure hunt. We were given 2 different addresses, and on final clarification we were given the wrong address. We arrived after 9pm (as agreed with host), and as you can imagine self check-in is a nightmare when we are given confusing information. We tried to ring the office number that was provided 3 times and no one was there to pick up.After about 20minutes going between the 2 addresses we managed to access the correct place.
The instructions provided (pdf file) instructed us to park our car in a gated area but we were not able to access it, but fortunately we found free onstreet parking a few minutes walk away. Please be aware that you are only provided with 1 set of keys for an apartment that is advertised to cater for up to 8 occupants. Some of the locks are unlocked clockwise so it can be fiddly to get into the apartment.
There were signs of wear/tear of the apartment which is expected. However there was a damaged patio door handle which was duct taped. It was not fully closed when we arrived so it was quite difficult to get it closed shut with the damaged handle. I noticed from
reviews months ago that this was an old problem so I wonder if it was not fixed for a long time. The shower drain was also not draining properly and it flooded after 5minutes of use.
We raised all issues above via messages to the host on the airbnb website, and subsequent messages the next day were replied promptly. The host team apologised for the confusion, though no explanation was given to why we were not able to contact them the night before. The drain issue was addressed promptly as a handyman was sent over to unblock it. We were also told that the car park gate fob was broken so that was why we could not access the secure car park.
Unfortunately the issues above had made the initial 24hours of our 2 nights stay stressful. I think communication needs to be improved and check in instructions should be clearer. As there is no on-premise parking, this should be clearly included in the advertisement. So for these I will have to leave an honest 3.5 rating for ans otherwise clean and spacious airbnb apartment.

This is a fab apartment, just let down a bit by lack of maintenance. Shower head broken in shower off hallway so 1 shower for 6 people was not good! Wall light in hallway hanging out of wall and socket beside it taped up - also door handle to balcony taped up- doesnt give great impression, but other than this I would stay here again. Confusion with car park - we were first told last guest had forgotten to leave fob, then that gate should just slide open (we tried!) then that we were at wrong place as the gate had been removed and finally told that it was a new gate and that Management Co had not yet provided a fob! As it turned out, parking outside was fine.

This 2 bedroom apartment is in a brilliant location for the ACC and the exhibition centre. The city centre is also within walking distance. The check in with the lock box was very easy and allowed flexibility for when we would get there. Having a car parking spot so close to the centre of town was ideal.
The beds were comfortable.
There are a few fixtures that could do with a little attention, that are currently being held by duct tape, and some of the walls require replastering.
We found this place value for money for the prices being charged for weekdays, especially if you have several people staying.
The hosts were also very easy to contact, and kindly accommodated our request to extend our use of the car park after check out for a few hours.

Top location in the renewed old doc area, walking to the Albert doc is nice and easy, Beautifull vieuw over the water, parking on private grounds so close to the city center is unique. Checking in and out is easy, communications are good. Rooms are big, kitchen is well equipt!

This is a beautiful apartment, although I think it could do with a bit of modernisation I.e new bathrooms and kitchen.
If this was done it would be a five star rating in my opinion. The views from both bedrooms and lounge are lovely.
We had a lovely 4 night stay, it is convenient for the town centre and Albert dock.
I was a bit bothered by not being able to park securely, although you can park in front of apartment and our car was fine.
I would definitely use this apartment again, and would seek out other apartments managed by Katy, Joe and team as they were on the ball when it came to communication.

Lovely apartment and the views were just what we were hoping for - marina and the Mersey river from the front and a lovely view of the 'Liverpool Skyline' from the back, especially at night! The beds were really comfortable too. Just a short walk to the Albert Dock, and the tourist attractions. Unfortunately, we had issues with the heating boiler but don't let that put you off. They are now installing a new boiler. Katy and the team were quick to respond and did everything they could to sort the problem and ensure it didn't spoil our holiday. We did achieve a temporary fix so it didn't spoil our break at all.

We feel that we stayed in a different apartment to the reviews below. The apartment was nice, clean on first view but definitely not a "luxury penthouse". It is on the 3rd floor, it had no luxury amenities. It was style over substance with a very well presented apartment that was clean on first arrival, but had so many broken or missing things once we started to look more closely, and was fitted out as minimally and cheaply as possible.
Firstly we arrived and the carpark gate was not working - this was not fixed for the duration of the trip and if we didn't get one of the four parks at the front of the block we had to get out of the car and physically pull the gates open. Not nice in 5 degrees and rain. We agree the hosts were very responsive to requests as everyone has stated, the issue was that we had to contact them multiple times in the first 24 hours for things that were missing (shampoo, bath gel, oil, salt, pepper, oven trays...) or needed fixing (bath plug (took 48 hours to sort), door to balcony. Communication ranged from "please send pictures" to "please don't leave the heating on when you are not in" (I don't expect to be told that when I am paying 140 pounds a night and the apartment is in the satate of disrepair that it was!) from the hosts. At no time was there proactive communication or empathy from the staff.
After 3 visits to the flat in 24 hours from either hosts or handyman we lost interest in reporting what was missing/broken and accepted we had a 'lemon' - the shower head in the front bathroom was broken, the airgaps on the windows didn't close properly and were draughty and noisy when windy, there was no area to work on laptop as stated, the coffee table was broken and in a hall closet to name a few. Modern appliances for home cooking are the basics (but no bowls for serving or mixing, that is "not part of what we offer").
This is not an apartment for a family or a longer stay (both in our case). I can see the merits for a short stay for a group of adults, but suggest if you have a family or extended stay you look elsewhere. Be aware you also only get one set of keys no matter how many people staying there. And one std size towel per person for 6 nights is just unnecessarily cheap.

The hosts are really nice and answer questions fast. We had problem with the heater and had a cold start of our stay. But once reported to Katy and Joe, they came around fast and sorted the problem out.
I can really recommend this as a good appartement in this amazing city.

The property is def a great value with regards to its great location, outstanding amenities and facilities, and incredible fantastic view from every room and the balcony. We had some issues with the check-in in first place as the message sent to inbox wasn’t matched with the address shown on its page and wasn’t clear about the checking in for a link of guidebook missing. Martina was being very patient and responsive on the phone though so it took us about 20 minutes to sort out the problem. We then had to deal with the WiFi, kitchen door and window curtains as they didn’t seem well functioned on the day - which was a bit of turn down but Joe and Katy came over quickly to sort them out. We appreciate that. Aside from that, Liverpool is def a great place to stay for more than two nights as we had. We hope all these minor issues were aware of and won’t be happening again if we come back soon!
Plus, do enjoy the sun rising and sun setting if you are just as lucky as we are seeing good days in sunshine!

We enjoyed our stay immensely in what is a super penthouse stocked with everything we needed. The rooms are light, airy with loads of space. Everything was clean and tidy and gave an amazing first impression. The location is great as you are near the centre of Liverpool but out far enough not to get the city noise. The walk into the centre is a pleasant stroll along the promenade towards Albert Docks. We loved the views and particularly the balcony which is south facing. The communication between us and the owners efficient, prompt and caring. No question seemed to be too small. When in Liverpool next we know where to stay. We unreservedly recommend this accommodation if you find yourself in Liverpool. As an aside we are not related to the owners but really enjoyed the accommodation as the review shows.

Well if you’re looking for a fabulous stay here it is , from the start the hosts are very attentive loads of info to help with our stay. easy instructions for entry , secured parking, beautiful apartment well maintained and loads of room. Very modern and comfortable.Great location for central Liverpool we walked everywhere with ease. Everything you need for a great easy stay will definitely be back.

Wonderfully decorated apartment, with lovely personal touches. Very quiet. comfortable beds although sofa beds on the firm side. Great hosts, good communication and accurate description of apartment.
Within walking distance of centre and Albert Docks. You can even rent bikes nearby! Close to bars and cafes too if you don’t want to venture too far.

Fell in love with this apartment! Perfect location - just a 20 minute walk to the centre. The place was so peaceful and loved looking over the water while having breakfast. Definitely recommend!

Joe and Erin were very responsive when we had any queries and were great hosts.
The location was great, just a short walk into the main docks and city and with fantastic views.
It was also very well laid out, spacious, clean and easily accommodated our family of 5.
We will defo book the apartment next time we’re in Liverpool and after enjoying this amazing city so much we know we will definitely be back!
Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for something in Liverpool.

Wonderful location, but unfortunately we had issues with the cleanliness and got stuck in the gated car park once.
The apartment itself is very nice and spacious, just needs some maintenance.
Communications with the host did not work well for us, sorting out problems was nearly impossible immediatly.

Great apartment with excellent views and walking distance to City Centre and train stations to go further afield. Good for families as is in a nice quiet area. Great communication from hosts.

This is an amazing apartment as it is situated in one of the new dock renovations and has beautiful views of the yachts and River Mersey. It is very stylish and modern with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for our family of 4 with two teenagers. It is close by the new Baltic Quarter with nice bars and restaurants, 15 to 20 minute walk to Liverpool 1 and the Albert Dock. Off street private parking was a plus, and the hosts were very responsive when we had initial questions about the hot water/ boiler switches. We would definitely stay there again.
