We had a fantastic stay at 106 Bermudas: Long stay for 5 weeks with 2 small kids. The apartment was as described, really great for our family, kitchen was fully stocked, every thing was clean, and we really appreciated the direct access to the beach and promenade as as well as the pool in the complex. Also extra thumbs up for the beach toys and equipement which we definitely used. (Recommendation for families: there is a Spur within walking distance with an indoor playland, as well as the promenade playground a bit further on. ) Internet was also very stable for remote work which was important for us. Can't say enough about the hospitality and reaponsiveness of Debs and Alan - thank you for everything, you helped make our stay great, was a pleasure!

Wow—what an incredible experience! The apartment was an absolute dream: beautifully furnished, spotless, and perfectly located just steps from the beach and the scenic walkway. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing was pure magic! Alan, our host, was outstanding—warm, responsive, and made sure every detail was perfect. You can really tell how much care goes into making guests feel at home. A quick note: there are quite a few stairs to reach the apartment, and the bedrooms are on a separate level from the main living area. But honestly, the stunning views and the serene atmosphere make it so worth it!

The place was amazing, beautiful view of the ocean, from main room and living area, gorgeous sound of the waves, clean with services to tidy up daily. Overall an excellent location right on the boardwalk, with an amazing view of the ocean. Can’t beat the sound of the waves at sunrise and sunset. A few steps you on the boardwalk with easy access to swimming on the beach. The unit was well stocked with everything you need from the kitchen to the braai facilities. If there was one suggestion for the owners it would be to update their furniture it’s a bit dated and the bathrooms need some TLC.

This is a gem in the midst of high rise apartment blocks. Easy access to everything, but you feel and hear the ocean as if you have a camp fire on the beach. The host are super super! The double storey apartment is reallycomfortable with everything you need, but the best part is the two balconies!!

We had an incredible stay. Debs and Alan were so quick to respond to all messages. We needed flexible check in and departure and they were more than happy to accommodate. So friendly and helpful- felt like nothing was too much trouble to them. The apartment is perfect. Exactly as in the pictures but in real life with that view of the ocean it’s even better. Cleaner was in every day so the place was always in excellent shape. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Great location and easy access. Note that it does require stair access (about a flight and a half) which may pose an issue for persons with a lot of luggage and/or mobility issues. Also, daily cleaning will not replace or clean towels except after third day. Not really an issue, but they will re-hang towels left on the floor which should be set aside for cleaning rather than re-hung. Healthy supply of coffee, tea, and washing powder available. Very helpful on schedule of inevitable load-shedding.

Everything about this place was amazing ! The hosts Allan and Debbie were truly fantastic ! Helpful in every sense and even the small extra detail was not overlooked! Their contact , welcoming and checking up on us was truly exceptional and made our holiday super special . The extra touch of having a serviced apartment included in the rates was also nice. Even though we could not swim due to the Ecoli we had a fantastic holiday. We will definitely be back .

Our small family thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to be close to the beach during winter, especially lounging on the deck overlooking the promenade and Bronze Beach. The apartment has two floors with the living areas on the lower level and bedrooms upstairs.The main bedroom had a similar deck overlooking the beach with an open plan bathroom within the bedroom. Fadeela loved using the bath and shower but we weren't brave enough to use that toilet! Thank goodness for the two and a half additional bathrooms. :) The kitchen was well resourced with equipment and the lounge and dining area was sized for four to six people... ample for us. We also appreciated the room service which was a great finishing touch to the service offered. Debs and Alan were warm and friendly and communicated well. they even allowed us to delay our departure while we waitind for a late flight home. Thanks for a perfectly lazy long weekend.

The property is exactly as described with gorgeous sea views. We stayed here with 4 adults and our 2 kiddos aged 9 & 11. You can't beat the location. Bronze beach is right there and Mugg & Bean, Spur and various other eateries are a 5 minute walk away. Alan and Debs were extremely responsive and we had an amazing 4 day stay.

Probably the best view in umhlanga. The location was incredible. Literally out the gate and a two minute walk to bronze beach. I loved the apartment so much that I asked Debs if she would rent it out to me full time! That's how great it was. We loved everything from the decor to the amenities and the incredible views from the balcony and main bed room. Alan and Deb were incredible hosts. Yet again another incredible stay in one of Alan and Deb’s apartments . Cannot fault this apartment in anyway ! We loved our stay from start to finish , the views from the living area and main bedroom are spectacular , it honestly doesn’t get better than this ! The flat was supremely luxurious with the kinds of touches (chocolates, a generous supply of Nespresso coffee pods, high quality appliances, a second TV, serviced daily if one wants it or at customised times that suit one) which make for the most relaxing kind of holiday. Debs and Alan manage several AirBnBs in Umhlanga and being client-focused and service-oriented is clearly their expertise. I have stayed in many AirBnBs in SA and around the world and have never experienced this level of attention before. It was simply a full concierge service, not in one's face but on call when needed. From communication in advance, to meeting us, advising us on restaurants, checking on us via WhatsApp throughout the stay as Durban was experiencing protests, to popping in to say goodbye, to checking we were safely at airport. The flat is right on Bronze Beach, it has a full patio downstairs and a magnificent balcony upstairs. No need for a car as restaurants and shops are in walking distance. Umhlanga itself is pristine, no litter, well maintained boardwalk, a very secure complex manned by personable staff and beaches which extend into the distance. We will return with other families knowing that Debs will be able to accommodate our friends close by to us, either in the same or an adjoining apartment block. Even during this time of protests in KZN, these flats are a secure haven in Umhlanga, we would recommend for these holidays.

This unit was so extremly spacious and airy with some really great extras and real attention to detail from the hosts. Pros: Literally right on the beach but well secured Private patio with an outside shower and braai area (although we didnt use it) Nespresso coffee machine with unlimited pods :-) Sparkling clean Huge patio - one section partly covered (great for morning workouts) Remodelled bathroom with excellent view of the ocean Great lounger chairs Fast WIFI Nice extras - welcome chocccies, assistance with bags, toiletries, daily servicing, some kitchen supplies etc Responsive and helpful hosts Cons: Upstairs shower pressure was low. Tile were very slippery when wet - even though we moved two mats to soak up the water. TV needs an upgrade - the remote took alot of patience to use An overall wonderful stay and we would likely book again. Alan and Debs were also very responsive and helpful hosts.

The most incredible place on the beach! Stunning view and really nice big balcony fitted with a Braai and an undercover outdoor dining area which was superb as we could still use it in the adverse weather. The apartment is Spacious and well furnished with big couches. We were super comfortable and really felt at home. Beds are incredibly comfortable! Debs even helped us out with some wine when we ran out and a baby gate, high chair and camp cot for our toddler! A great place at a really convenient location.You are practically at the beach while you are also close to all the anemities you need for a great holiday.Debs us also such a brilliant host from the time we booked until we left.

Debs and Alan were fantastic hosts and helped us with everything we needed. They received and packed away all our Woollies groceries. Alan came down at 8pm on our first night to show us how the stove worked. There was an information pack which even had the load shedding schedule in it. The apartment is very comfortable and homely. Thanks to you both.

Apart from the obvious reasons - location, view, amenities, the staff and especially Alan were incredible. Communication was stellar, making it feel like the perfect home away from home. Would absolutely go back!

Family friendly, conveniently located, clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean was spectacular, easy access to the beach and the village is walking distance along the beautiful promenade. Highly recommend this gem of a place.

Superb location with direct access to the promenade. The apartment has a large terrace for relaxing and main bedroom with direct sea views. You can't get any closer to the beach. Hosts Debs and Alan make the checkin/out process super simple and are available to help guests out anytime. Thanks Debs and Alan for a wonderful stay.

We were so impressed by all the personal attention we received. We were surprised to find bin bags, washing liquid soaps and all kinds of stuff which was replenished regularly. We ordered groceries online to be delivered to the apartment. On the day we arrived we were so impressed to find that all our groceries had been neatly packed away for us. Our host visited us every day to checkin on us. What a fantastic experience!

this place is just amazing! so close to the ocean and amazing hospitality by the hosts. We stayed for 5 nights with 3 little children. The beach is 3min away and there is a good pool on the roof. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the internet is very fast. absolutely recommended!

Apartment was amazing. Debs and Alan are great hosts. Check in and checkout was a breeze. Perfect location right on the bed. Main bedroom a dream -wake up every morning looking at the sea. Loved the cleaning service every day .There were buckets and spades and boogie boards for the grandkids . Will definetly stay there again .

What a magnificent setting 106 the Bermuda’s is! The view from the main bedroom is absolutely breathtaking and the deck and patio bodes well for relaxation and great space. My 18 month old son loved to play soccer there every afternoon. The home is spacious clean and serviced by a lovely lady. It has everything a little family needs. The beds are comfortable, it was a home away from home! Debs and Alan were fantastic hosts and helped in every way possible to make our stay very comfortable. We left our keys at home for our suitcase lock and the came to assist immediately. We saw them everyday and they provided us with advise on what to do in Umhlanga. We cannot fault anything, it was such a memorable holiday! We will be back!

The apartment is in an excellent location, right on the beach with fantastic sea views. It contains everything we could have needed, with extra touches for our little son. The servicing was done very professionally, and Debs was a superb host. We will definitely be back soon!

Everything about our stay was so amazing - from the friendly welcome, helpful suggestions and daily (!) cleaning. Everything just made our lives so easy, allowing the whole family to just relax and enjoy our stay in the beautiful environment. The location was breathtaking, and the apartment sparking clean. Beach towels and boogie boards were also provided, which was a lovely surprise :) Thank you, Debs, for being such an amazing host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is impeccable and is exactly as seen in the photos. Extra touches like beach towels, toiletries and lamps to help with load shedding made for a comfortable stay. The apartment is serviced daily which made our holiday very relaxing. There was great communication with Alan and Debs and they were very helpful with all the queries we had. I would definitely recommend this apartment, especially for it's beautiful features and the great location.
