We had a really nice stay at this Airbnb in Umhlanga. The location is great, very close to the beach, and the sea view was beautiful. The apartment was very clean and well maintained, and everything we needed was there. The owners were very proactive with communication, friendly, and always helpful, which made the stay even easier. Great apartment, fabulous view, so comfortable. Not having a dryer was inconvenient. Weekend noise from other guests was loud but I told hosts and they addressed it with security. From the moment the place was booked Deb and Alan were incredible. Every question that was asked was answered. Every request, the accommodated us . When we arrived we had no place to store our bags before check-in, but Deb and Alan assisted us by allowing us to leave our bags at the accommodation. When we checked-in the room exceeded our expectations, we were excited to see the place because of the pictures. But the room itself even looks more stunning in person. And that view! It’s right by the beach! I couldn’t boast more about how stunning this stay was! I will definitely be coming back!! 10/10 hands down!

Oh my goodness, our beachfront view was breathtaking from the minute we arrived! The host was already waiting for us by the gate and took us through the reception access process, explaining every little detail. The hospitality was amazing - truly over the top. The rooms were super clean, and their room service was top-notch. I would definitely go back again to enjoy the experience and raise a glass to it 🥂.

The place was more than pleasing to the eye. The pictures honestly captured everything saw but the visuals from being there are more than what a camera can capture. The host was amazing and answered messages within 2-4 mins of sending them. We had everything needed and more. The cleanliness of the place daily is amazing. Place 10/10 Views 10/10 Check in 10/10 Hospitality 10/10 Surrounding areas and accessibility 10/10 Malls and restaurants within walking distance during the day and night with street security all around. Everything was so accessible and nearby. Friendly host with valuable recommendations in regards to areas of food based on what you prefer. We honestly enjoyed the stary and will be back again. The place wants you too stay more than 3 days to really enjoy the setting. Might I add air conditioning in every room to keep the hot air out.

The place was amazing, with great views and very clean as well. The host is friendly and easily accessible. But we didn’t have water for our entire stay and there were no alternative plans made for us, we had to fetch water from the pool for everything. At-least if there was a tank of water at our apartment and have drinking water provided for us then we would have had an amazing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. Debs responded quickly to all my queries, and I was able to check-in a bit earlier, which was super helpful. Alan greeted us on arrival and helped us with our many bags to the apartment. He was friendly and hospitable throughout our stay. The apartment was gorgeous with a stunning view of the ocean and the promenade. The apartment building is easy to navigate , the lifts work really quickly, and you are on the promenade from the apartment in less than five minutes. The apartment is also fully cleaned each day by Alan’s cleaning staff which is a great bonus. There are many restaurants, shops and activities in walking distance. Bronze beach was perfect for my family, and I also thought it was great that you could hire an umbrella or deck chair for R50 per item. We will definitely be back when visiting SA again! What a fabulous location! you can almost touch the beach from the balcony, an easy walk to shops & cafes & being on the Boardwalk was fantasticfor us to stretchour legs after our 20 hour flight. The apartment was clean & spacious & everything was there to make our stay super easy. Debs kept us in the loop right up to arrival & checked in by text to see if everyone was happy. Amazing hosts! 5 star service and very friendly and receptive hosts. Alan explained everything to us clearly and recommended local places for us to visit! I would definitely book with them again. My kids enjoyed their stay and can’t stop raving about their experience.

Our family absolutely loved this place! It was just gorgeous and so beautiful, serene and peaceful! All of the furnishings were of extremely high quality. There was so many small lovely touches, the air con is a life saver in Durban of course! Responsive, supportive and friendly hosts, would love to stay again and highly recommend this place. My family loved the treat of being by the beach (without being ON the beach, sometimes it’s nice just to enjoy the views). Then they really had the time of their lives on a sunrise walk… unbeatable location. Thank you for sharing your beautiful stunning home!

I had a great experience with the hosts. Alan kept checking how far we were when we travelled to Durban, on arrival he was on site waiting for us, oh yes he smiles and chats a lot and I loved every bits of that conversation. He is so welcoming. Will definately recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet, relaxing and peacef environment.👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿

Absolutely beautiful apartment! Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Stunning views - so wonderful to wake up to the sea with dolphins and whales swimming past. Hosts were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

Our stay really exceeded all of our expectations. Debs and Alan are exceptional hosts and made us feel right at home. The apartment is spectacular - waking up to the sound of the waves every morning is just unbeatable! It’s an easy 15 minute walk to stores and restaurants. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Alan and Debs are super awesome and were exceptionally responsive hosts. Checked in on us every now and again. Definitely would recommend the apartment, great value for money and great location. The apartment was well styled, it gave Greece vibes. Absolutely fantastic stay in this is awesome flat. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful.  The apartment is comfortable, clean, and very well appointed. Everything was literally well thought out, everything provided everything a guest might need!

The best ever..great location. The words to describe it have not been invented yet.Very neat and tidy.Best ocean view. what you see in photos is exactly that and more. When in Durban I will never book elsewhere

This is my first time using AirBnB. I was reluctant at first, however after reading the reviews for Alan and Debs I felt I had nothing to lose. I must admit that even though the reviews were great my experience was even better. From the time I arrived until the time I left Alan was available to assist. What a great experience and I am sold. I will definitely visit Umhlanga again and only rent an apartment that is managed by Alan and Debs as "IT IS THAT GOOD".

The unit definitely exceeded our expectations. It's spotless, accurate in terms of the pictures listed with a beautiful sea view. The host is very friendly, thoughtful and extremely efficient. Any issues raised were reacted upon almost immediately. It's not often that the host checks you in personally and shows you around the building and its facilities to make sure you know your way around as well as giving you an overview of the restaurants in the vicinity and things to do. They even went the extra mile of considering Muslims with special dietary requirements with a list of halaal restaurants in the area. The location of the complex is directly behind the swimming beach where deck chairs and umbrellas are also available for hire so great location if you one that doesn't want to walk too far away. The entry and exit is well controlled and their pin system makes it easy for visitors to pop in. Overall highly recommended for families who are looking for cleanliness, hospitality and convenience. Well done Alan and Debs. We hope to see you again in the future.

The hosts are soo amazing… they were ready to welcome us and even came to see us off. The apartment is clean and the amenities are exceptional… even paper towels. I just felt so much at home.. Thanks so much, we will definitely come back.
