We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this Airbnb. The location is a standout — it is perfectly positioned in Umhlanga: quiet, peaceful, and away from noise, yet just minutes from the main beaches, restaurants, and shopping areas. It strikes the right balance between relaxation and convenience, which made the stay particularly enjoyable. Safety was clearly a priority, which gave us real peace of mind throughout our visit. The property is secure, well-managed, and in a good area, making it very comfortable for a family stay. The host (Alan) was responsive, accommodating, and professional from start to finish. Communication was smooth, and everything was exactly as described (if not better). It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property and ensuring guests have a good experience. A very positive experience. We would definitely return.

Deb & Alan apartment is exactly what you see on website. Very clean & emaculate! The ensuite bathrooms were amazing(spotless). Everything was functional in the apartment. On arrival we were met by Debs, a friendly lady.. who showed us arround & left us comfortable. I would truly recommend this apartment. I would definitely choose it again!!!

The accommodation was just as described. Very comfortable, clean and a lovely swimming pool. We felt very safe in the area and had easy access to all surrounding areas. Umhlanga was full of shops and restaurants and the beaches are beautiful and just a short walk away. The flat was cleaned every day and it was lovely to come home and find it nice and clean and tidy! There is a washing machine and a dishwasher too! I would definitely stay here again. Hosts responded straight away to anything we needed. Excellent!

Great stay. The unit looks exactly like the pictures. Lots of parking places as well if you rent a car. Everything is close by. I never had to drive more than 5 mins to get anywhere, it's also walkable if you don't mind walking 5 km to the village.

I loved how close it was to the promenade and it is completely safe to walk around with your personal belongings. Although the building is not on the beach strip, it has a wonderful view of the sea. I loved that I could watch all the DSTV channels (cable TV). Debs and Alan's availability is amazing on the phone and even physically when necessary. The neighbours and area are very quiet and peaceful.

We spent a long weekend at this lovely apartment. The unit is clean, neat, uncluttered and yet had everything we needed. Checkin was efficient and comprehensive and we appreciated that checkout was made flexible for our early departure. The bed (we just used the main bedroom, but the second looked fine also) is very comfortable, there's lots of cupboard space, and the bathrooms are clean with great pressure and plentiful hot water from the shower. The kitchen has all the equipment to churn out the best meals - we love gas cooking so that was a bonus. The mobility impaired should note that access is via 2 short flights of stairs. The complex is small and just off the promenade so it is quiet but it's only a 3 minute walk to the beach and there is a view from the (small) balcony of the ocean, although it is interrupted. Overall, a very well appointed and managed unit to which we hope to return soon. Thanks Debs and Alan!

What a positive experience. The flat was light, contemporary, and luxurious - with absolutely everything we needed. The pool and sea views were a bonus. This unit is even better in person! It was super clean, in a good location ….across from the beach, around the corner from restaurants, and close to malls. Both Debs and Allan are a rare find. Normally hosts welcome their guests on the first day and are never to be seen again. Alan was regularly giving updates on load shedding, checking on us whether we needed anything etc... These are 2 GREAT AMBASSADORS for AIRBNB..... they should be classified as Super Super Hosts. Thanks guys, now I understand why my son always goes to you for his accommodation. As for your cleaner (Thobeka?), she was also a gem. Very good in all aspects. The flat is well equipped and clean. Debs and Alan are very friendly and helpful hosts. It's a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood and only a couple of minutes to the beach. We enjoyed our stay!

We travelled as a family with my 3 year old daughter and especially booked this apartment for its close proximity to the beach. The apartment was perfect, with everything you could possibly need even down to beach towels and books. Alan and Debs are the best hosts one could ask for and we enjoyed great dinners at restaurants they recommended. The apartment is a short walk away from the beach which made my daughter’s trip. Can’t wait to be back!

I had a lovely stay, the hospitality was amazing and the hosts definitely went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable in every way. The house was very clean with all your basic necessities as well as daily servicing. The finishes touches were really well done and we would definitely book again

The apartment was spotless and well equipped, with a lovely pool and great location , close to the beach and 10 minute walk to lots of fab restaurants. Alan and Debs are great hosts, helpful, responsive and thoughtful. We cannot recommend they highly enough and will definitely use them again on our next visit.

Debs and Alan are consummate hospitality professionals. Always a pleasure dealing with them. The apartment is stunning. Everything that you would need. Walking distance to all amenities, including 2 minutes to the beach. Stylish and comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Debs and Alan were wonderful hosts. Their communication was great. The place is clean, stylish and in an awesome location. The apartment was cleaned everyday, we had coffee, tea and milk available. The property has a pool and it is only a 2 min walk to the beach and promenade, where you can enjoy the sun, go for a walk, drink a cocktail or take a swim in the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay. What a wonderful short but wonderful get away since lockdown. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and Debs is a wonderful and attentive host. Our place was clean, with some personal touches as well. Lovely, we are happy.
