Amazing house. Catered to all our needs. Beautiful scenery, ocean view. They had emough towels and complementary tea and coffee (no milk though). The only down side was we were told we making moise at 6pm. A group of 6 people will be louder than a couple but this was just from talking (no music or tvl). That rubbed us the wrong way and ruined the mood.

Debs and Alan communicated with us before and during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. They were great hosts. The apartment is so stunning, comfy and clean. Its walking distance to the beach. The apartment and linen is in prestine condition. The entire place is air conditioned and offers stunning views. Uber eats/Mr D for food has plenty of offers which is what we made use of. There was cleaning services the next day which is so helpful. The helper that arrived was friendly and did her job quickly and thoroughly. I recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to enjoy a stay at the beach. I will be back again soon!

The apartment is located in an excellent area with the beach, restaurants and malls being in walking distance. The view from the apartment is amazing. Alan is the most attentive host I’ve experienced so far. He is proactive and responds within a minute. The guest information provided in the unit goes above and beyond what is expected; it details everything you need to know including some historical background on tourist attractions. The place was clean and house keeping is set to a time of your preference. The internet and television services are exceptional and the kitchen is well equipped. Coming from a resort my family and I were looking for a more domestic feel. We walked in and felt right at home. On some days we cancelled plans to stay home and relax. We would go back any day.

Fantastic hosts and wonderful place to stay. The apartment is squeaky clean, beautifully kitted out and an absolutely fantastic place to spend time away. The proximity to great restaurants and the most spectacular view of the beach, ocean and especially the dolphins and whales makes this place the best venue I have stayed in Durban by far. The apartment has every thing that you would need to make your stay perfect. The check-in, check-out and safe was easy and smooth. I will definitely book this place again.

My family and I had a great stay at Debs place. The hosts were super responsive and clear in their communication. The home was cleaned daily and was spotless. It was spacious and looks exactly like the pictures. They even arranged a high chair, cot and baby bath for my 1 year old. The views are incredible, especially for sunrises. Easy access to the beach and nice restaurants are within walking distance. We will be back for sure!

Alan and Deb’s are the most amazing hosts they went over and beyond to ensure we had an amazing holiday. Extremely friendly and very proactive with everything, the apartments are right on the beachfront and you feel like you are one with the ocean. The apartments are cleaned daily and everything you need is inside the apartment. I would highly recommended any apartment hosted by Alan and Deb’s. They helped us take all our luggage up to the apartment explained everything to us it was so quick and easy. Overall experience at Bermudas was amazing I could not fault anything at all.

Great apartment and location. Spacious and beautifully furnished. Cater for every need and even the security at front desk are super friendly and helpful. Feel safe and secure from the moment you enter the gate. Will most definitely be back! Hosts were very willing to even accommodate earlier check-in due to circumstances and allowed extra time at check-out… Great pool area and VERY close to the beach and the hub of Umhlanga. You will not be disappointed.

Pleasant stay at Debs apartment. The view is stunning. The location is excellent for Bronze Beach. The promenade walkway below takes you to the village with restaurants, supermarket and shopping mall, in a 20 minute stroll. Daily housekeeping at a time to suit us. We were kept informed of the load shedding time each day by text. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy bed where you can listen to the sea rolling in which is relaxing.

I like waking up to the roar of the ocean, it's the most beautiful and clean apartment. Sne the housekeeper is friendly, and Alan treats you like a friend he has known forever, Maxwell at the reception never stops smiling and making sure you feel at home. I have stayed in the apartment more than 4 times first I booked was om another platform, I keep returning here for I feel at home. The night life is to die for and within walking distance you won't have to risk drinking and driving, and it is safe to walk home at night. Direct access to the beach and the swimming pool on the 5th floor is the answer to any visitor.

Deb is an exceptional host. She is extremely accommodating and helpful. Her place is spotless and comfortable and she goes the extra mile to make sure all your needs are met. The view is spectacular and it’s priceless to be on the beachfront where you can actually experience peace and tranquility. Sadly, places like Deb’s are a rare find as so many tall buildings and a huge mall are being crammed into once was a quaint little village. Thank you Deb for keeping this part of Umhlanga real and offering accommodation that allows me to really take in the beauty and relax.

Hosts were good communicators however they only give you a towel change every 3 days which is completely unreasonable when you come on a beach holiday for a week. The unit we stayed in definitely needed a good scrub in all corners. Unfortunately we also had a very smelly couch and cushions which could have been from sweaty previous guests. The cushions on the beds were dirty and needed dry cleaning and the pillows were all over used and flat. My experience here was not the best unfortunately.

Great place and location. View excellent. 5 star place. Water shedding was an issue in the area though for 12 - 14 hours a day during my stay. Apart from that this place is excellent.

Wow, what an experience! As you walk trough the door of the unit (which is situated on the 11th floor), you are immediately hit by the awesome views of the ocean and the beach, and start relaxing right away! The unit has full dstv, excellent air conditioning in all rooms, a nice small, intimate balcony where all 4 of us were able to sit and enjoy the views while sipping on cocktails (or coffee, in the mornings, watching the sunrise), a fully functional kitchen, and glorious living and dining areas. Access to the beach is easy, and the shops and restaurants are mostly within walking distance of the complex. There is also a lovely refreshing swimming pool, with ocean views on the 5th floor. The service was excellent - when we had a question (e.g. what the best place is to treat the kids to sushi), the replies were almost immediate. Debs' husband Alan is always around somewhere in the complex for advice and assistance - one morning we bumped into him and chatted a bit, and I mentioned that we were planning to braai the afternoon, but that it doesn't look like there were a braai tong in the unit. Within 10 minutes Alan supplied us with a braai tong! Speaking of braai-ing, that is perhaps the only (small) negative. There are braai facilities, but it is on one side of the building, without any views of the garden/ swimming pool/ ocean. So, you basically make your fire, braai your meat and then take everything up to the unit and enjoy it in the comfort provided there - the braai area is not really designed for families to sit, relax and chat at while the meat is on the grid. All in all, a fantastic experience, and real value for money. We will surely, when we get the opportunity to visit the North Coast again, first search for availability of Debs' places!

The view is spectacular and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves makes this the perfect location. It is at the quieter end of Umhlanga, which worked out perfectly for us. Loved that every room had an air con - we needed it to cope with the summer heat. We really appreciated the regular communication and personal touches that made our stay special.
