Lovely apartment in a beautiful part of Liverpool. Comfortable beds and tasteful décor. Everything you need in kitchen. Few minor defaults in the bathrooms - flickering light, loose toilet seat, rain setting on show didn't work but aside from that really nice place. Would stay again.

We deeply enjoyed our stay at the September Cottage and loved our time in Brighton. After a series of one-night stays in other settings, it was a delight to have several nights at the cottage: to make use of the spacious kitchen, eat together at the lovely table, and to enjoy coffee in the garden. Brighton itself was charming: we loved the new cafe Higher Ground, just down the street, had a wonderful breakfast at Nowhere Man, and spent a beautiful late afternoon on the beach. We hope to return again someday!

We stayed in a Host and Stay property on Over Street in Brighton for a few days. The house was clean enough and had all of the facilities we needed - including a newly fitted bathroom with a decent shower. The only issue was the beds which were seriously uncomfortable. The mattress we slept on was very hard and had no padding which meant the springs could be felt. Most hotels have far better beds.

Lovely quirky olde worlde accommodation. Unbelievably spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, great heating for cold nights. The only negative from a personal standpoint was the access up a few groups of stairs which was difficult for my wife who has mobility issues. Having said that, we will definitely revisit.

A really comfortable stay, great beds and linen, fantastic kitchen and facilities. The host provides a very good website that gives recommendations for eating, visits and lots more. The best I have come across. Ideally situated not only for Alnwick, but also for the beautiful beaches and castles in Northumbria.

Great accommodation for Alnwick, very central, only 10 walk to the centre and the castle. Perfect for a family or two couples. Would book again. Well equipped. Would book again

The accommodations were very nice and it’s within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shops. The host is very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again if we’re back in Seaham.

Great property, very clean, modern and fantastic appliances. Sofas and beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. Only negative was having to contact host and stay to get the key safe code as they did not send us that arrival message, even though they had approved our arrival time. It took 40 minutes to get through to someone. We would definitely book again.

Definitely two star, terrible first impression, major smell (maybe damp) on entry and up the stairs. Second thing you notice are the large stains on the hallway and bedroom carpet. Some marks on the bed linen too. There are no coat hangers provided and just the one toilet roll so take both and a decent dishcloth! Location great I did inform Host & Stay of my concerns prior to going because of previous reviews but to no avail and despite my several telephone calls and how worried I was, they didn't have the courtesy to ring and see how it was, very disappointed in H&S and booking.com.

Unfortunately 1st time using and will be the last. Turned up too booking (kids in tow) only to find lodge was actually booked due to host and stay mistake...... We all ended up in a Premier Inn. Fuming as kids upset and mini break spoilt

This is a nicely presented period apartment, which is very close to the high street, but still fairly quiet. The parking is challenging but manageable. If you download the app that you are sent on arrival day, the directions to the flat are fine. Having full access to all channels on the tv is a bonus, and we didn’t have an issue with the mattress in the second room squeaking. The kitchen is small but well equipped with tea, coffee etc which was appreciated, and the bathroom is lovely. We would stay again.

The place was in an excellent location and was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. Good size and excellent roof terrace. The only downside is that the key pick up is about a 10-15 minute walk from the property which was a pain as we had quite a bit of luggage. A lock box on the property or a pick up point nearer would have been much better. Not the host fault but extremely noisy all night due to seagulls nesting. I would stay here again but out of seagull nesting season.
