My family and I had a short break at Caedmons Prospect in Whitby and I cannot praise our accommodation more. Stylish, extremely clean and well appointed I found everything we could possibly need. Close to the town centre with a bus stop outside if we were tired out from walking. Secure parking was a big plus point. We only wish we had stayed longer. I look forward to going back to Whitby and will definitely chose Host and Stay for our home from home. I have friends and family who often visit Whitby and surrounding coastal areas and I will be recommending host and stay to all of them, better value for money than local caravan park !!!

Really elegant and spacious apartment in a Victorian end terrace house with direct views to the sea from the living room and dining area bays. It is a few steps from Marine Parade and then down to the sands, a few more steps in the other direction to all that Saltburn town has to offer. The apartment was clean and well equipped, perfect for two. We loved the walks along the cliff and the coast and Saltburn has lovely places to eat and a very nice feel to it.

Wonderful Experience in Apartment 7 Sneaton Whitby This was our first holiday in an apartment and our first-time using Host and Stay for our booking. We have had 12 cottage breaks in the last year which we booked through various companies, and we can honestly say this was one of the best accommodations we have stayed in and we always go for top end Properties. Great value and great service from Host and Stay so good in fact we have booked again for August

This is an ideal property for the family event that we planned. Plenty of space and good access to things for children to do, especially the pool table and the beach.

Dreadful company they had a problem with their payment processor and cancelled my booking never tried to call me. They only gave me two days to reply to their email that I sent. Not everyone can live by their email. Do not use this company to rent your property or book with them.

We had a lovely relaxing long weekend at Seal Watch, Whitby. The apartment was spotless on arrival and it had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the location, quietness and overlooking the river was a bonus. It was a short stroll into Whitby town centre passing the harbour on the way back. We can highly recommend Host & Stay (this is the second time we have booked through them) and the Apartment and will definitely stay there again. Thank you to everyone at Host and Stay that made our mini break stress free.

This was a lovely place to stay. It was a great layout and size and perfect for two families to come together. The location to the coast was really quick great and we spent some lovely time along Filey and the Brigg. The pub next door is a little to be desired though and was a little noisy in the early hours of the morning (e.g. 2.30am) which was shame. Many thanks

The internal aspect of the property is excellent. Very well finished and comfortable. However the approach through the alley off Flowergate is dark and pretty grotty. The drain in the alley from Sherlocks cafe / bakery next door is completely blocked causing smelly drain water to wash down the alley. Once inside the communal entrance hall the space is extremely uninviting and smelly, not at all in keeping with the interior of Gulls Nest. There is an overwhelming smell of cannabis eminating from one of the apartments which shares the hallway. There was a dog in one of the nearby apartments which barked for long periods of time. The work on the ground floor property under the Gulls Nest started at around 0800hrs each day with all the banging, drilling etc associated with the major renovation work being carried out. The ongoing work was extremely intrusive. We were notified after booking the accommodation that work would be ongoing, had we known about this prior to completing our booking we would certainly not have chosen this property.

Really nice accommodation and they were very helpful. Information about property and instructions were very clear. Would stay at the property again and would book another holiday with Host and Stay. Will be recommending to family and friends too.

We had a family holiday in Jackson’s Cottage. Location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Whitby. Spotlessly clean. Loved the table football. A few issues, though: no oven gloves, no temperature markings on oven dial, no curtains in second bedroom - just thin blinds, so it was broad daylight in the room from 5:30am! And the handle fell off the outside of the back door. Be warned, steep curved stairs x 3. Good place, but we wouldn’t return.

Marshlands Redcar. Lovely place to stay, perfect base to explore. Booking and communication very simple and clear. Very clean and beds extremely comfy. Only let down was the sofa, which wasn’t particularly comfy and couldn’t ‘chill’ properly couldn’t imagine doing lots of walking on coast line and look forward to sitting on that sofa, but only let down and didn’t let it ruin our few days away.

This company breaks al trading standards and consumer rights in the descriptions of their properties and their customer service is shocking. They do not care about your holiday experience and are only bothered about taking your money. They don’t care if you have any issues with your accommodation and are not willing to assist in Any way. If you are booking with them then pray you don’t have any problems otherwise you will have a nightmare experience with them as we recently have with substandard accommodation. Diamond One was the most horrendous place I have ever seen and for the amount of money we paid for it we expected what was described in the advert. See the photo below and tell me if that’s a luxurious mustard velvet sofa that’s welcoming and relaxing! That’s just one example of the horrors I that apartment! What was meant to be a relaxing long weekend after a bereavement and serious health issues turned into a distressing nightmare for us. Use Sykes Cottages instead, their accommodation is far superior and their customer service as you would expect.
