Lovely clean and comfortable studio in a fantastic location. Just behind Whitby train station so if anyone is arriving by train you are 2 minutes walk to the accommodation. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back again!

Spacious, elegant flat just round the corner from the seafront. Well equipped with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Just some tiny points: all the seating was too low for oldies like me, both sink taps were very splashy and the sink tap difficult for a left handed user.

A lovely cottage that was home from home. Spotlessly clean with all amenities and a very appreciated welcome pack. An ideal location for exploring Whitby. My daughter and I along with her two little dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Cobble Cottage.

We absolutely adore Saltburn by the Sea and try to visit each year. Regrettably we find it very hard to find accommodation. Host and Stay appear to have a lot of property in the area. They're options for stays are vast and suit many different sizes of groups but it is a shame that they are at the higher end of the cost scale. We loved staying at The Pier and it suited our needs perfectly with incredible view and lovely finishing but we continue to try to find our yearly stay option as this is not affordable each year.

Very comfortable and clean house in a good location for exploring and visiting the wider area. We found a nice walk along the river and around a pretty village green just 5 minutes walk from the house. We are plann8ng to stay again when next in the area.

We arrived within the area late one morning. We rang up customer services to see if early check-in was possible. They stated to wait until after midday to ensure 'final property checks' were completed. No problem. After 12:30 we let ourselves into the property using the key in the lock box. Upon entering we found most surfaces, tables and ledges to be dusty and dirty. The downstairs window ledge was covered in dead flies. Other than hoovering, bleaching the toilet and providing fresh towels/bedding, little other cleaning/disinfecting appeared to have taken place. Given we are still in a global pandemic that's fairly concerning. We emailed the customer services team about the issues and supplied pictures. They promptly got back and apologized, stating they would send out a cleaner the following the morning. That's not really the point is. We declined and took care of a few things ourselves with the cleaning provisions under the sink. I'd like to point out here that obviously these 'final property checks' either did not take place or their standards were clearly below par. Overall the property was nicely decorated and in a good location. Although a little tricky to find at first. Obviously, seriously let down by poor cleaning service and property checks. Disappointingly, this is the first time in our life that we've been let down by an unclean property in all our time holidaying together. We'd be willing to consider the company again in the future should our paths and availability collide. Hopefully, this is just a one off. Regards, Danielle & Carl

This was our first visit to Saltburn by the sea, the beach house was in an ideal location with beautiful view of the sea front. Good location for walks and the local town just minutes away. Great places to visit Whitby & Robinhood's bay & Durham.

We booked the apartment for 5 people, fortunately 1 family member couldn't join us, as although there were enough beds, there was not enough seating, no room or chair at the dining table, only 4 dinner plates and 3 cereal bowls. Very disappointed as it would have made for a terrible experience if my family of 5 had all gone.

Lovely, modern place to stay with an excellent location. The apartment had everything I needed and it was a great place to stay. The company were very efficient due to me only booking a night before my arrival as they ensured I had everything I needed for my stay! I highly recommend.

Clean ,Compact ,modern and close to the sea ... will definitely be back. Parking a slight problem , but unloaded on the side path then drove to the NCP carpark around 4 mins walk. Cost £9 for 24hors . Highly recommend

Lovely, comfortable and clean. When we arrived milk had been left in the fridge for us which was a lovely thought, thankyou. Easy to find and very central. Would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful, relaxing location. Acres of garden and woodland to explore - all with a serene meditative atmosphere. We stayed for two nights at the delightful and well-appointed Kingfisher Cottage, enjoying walks in Dalby Forest and visits to nearby Thornton Le Dale and Pickering. Thoroughly recommended to anyone looking for a chilled time with peace and quiet and nature. - bliss! Thank you

First time staying with this company and wasn't disappointed. The apartment was easy to find and access. Parking was fully explained and easy to find. The place itself was lovely, spacious and exactly as advertised. Even a pint of milk in the fridge, bonus. Clean, tidy and well presented with plenty of space. The views over Whitby were fabulous. The location was great just 5 minutes from the harbour and basically everything. We had a great time and I'll be looking to book with Host & Stay again.

Lovely house over 4 floors. Masham is a great location, lots of shops, eating places & pubs. Great play park with tennis courts nearby. Loads of walks straight from your door. Beds and lounge very comfortable but lots of steep stairs, loft room gets very hot and only bathroom in basement. Sunny garden with areas to sit out & bike storage, patio and steps uneven & no grass area. Had a lovely time here in a beautiful location.

Absolutely fabulous stay. Apartment was beautiful, spotless and in a great location. We will definatley be back. Just had one issue with trying to verify myself begore arrival but that was soon rectified via a phone call

This is one of the most beautiful cottages we have stopped in, it was spotlessly clean, a perfect location everything down to the little things like tea, coffee and sugar and the welcome package was a lovely touch we will be defiantly using you cottages again
