Had a wonderful time on our visit to Saltburn. Sunbeam House was a lovely place to stay, excellent location near the town centre and the beach. The property was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We will definitely visit again!

I reached out to the hosting company before posting this but received no response, so I’m sharing for future guests. We stayed with our baby, who is learning to walk, and found chemicals left in the carpet that hadn’t been vacuumed. It was concerning and unsafe for our child to crawl on. The biggest issue was an aggressive neighbor near the gate. She shouted at us and slammed the gate on my husband as he was joining us, then continued yelling throughout our stay. Overall, we did not feel comfortable or safe at this property.

BEWARE IF DOING BOOK NOW PAY LATER - they took a 35% deposit from me without specifying they did so until after I booked and they are yet to return my money after 15 working days from me cancelling.

Ideally located flat with all the necessary extras. Parking tickets provided and we found parking easily even during busy Whitby Goth Weekend. Would stay again.

Great location and wonderful place Oyster Cottage is in the heart of Whitby and is a beautiful place to stay. Spotless, beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculate and showers hot! Everything provided for a great stay. Special thanks to Alice and Rob for the sweet treats and the lovely Goth Weekend card. We loved it and will stay again.

Disgusting behaviour. I booked an apartment via booking.com with this company, but despite cancelling well within the " free cancellation period" this company will not give me my £289 back. Repeated attempts to contact them and to ask for my refund just falls on deaf ears. Constantly being fobbed off . BEWARE WHEN YOU BOOK

The whole experience was delightful. The house and area were perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend to others. The issue with parking needs to be highlighted as it could be a problem for those with mobility issues. We parked at the Abbey and paid online each day, which was good for us.

The rental at Railway Cottages was really nice. I had some trouble getting into the lock box but the staff were very helpful and pro active. I figured it out but some text that you need to turn the knob not slide it. Maybe it was just me… We found most things in home and the convenience of an Aldi right up the street was a plus! The only thing I want to add is there were no coffee making tools other than instant. My family do not like instant so that was an issue. Possibly adding a French press or something would be nice. Could be us US people who drink coffee but it seems easy enough to add something. Also, did not see any pepper. And of course, missed the salt until after the eggs were made! One other thing, loved the bathroom especially the sink faucet. I’m going to look into that style at home! But it would be nice to have a bath mat for getting out of the shower. We popped into Daisy’s deli across the street, had a delicious sandwich. It was like visiting our grandmothers. Sweet ladies running the shop. No problem getting Ubers. All in all, it was a lovely place and would recommend. Thank you.

I just returned from a week's holiday in Saltburn and stayed at the Artist's Pad. First let me say how responsive and wonderful the owners are, and made me feel at home. It was beautifully decorated, and spotless. The location is a 5 minute or so walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the local, Sainsbury's. There's also a wonderful gift shop about two doors down with lots of local souvenirs. My only issue was a lot the stairs, which I was aware of, and that's a me issue, not a them issue. I would stay there again without hesitation!

The cottage is clean, tidy and easily accessible however leaves a little to be desired. Some of the amenities listed as available on the booking site are not included at the property including a high chair and some of the kitchen contents were very worn or dirty. The owners did offer to bring a high chair but by the time we would have received the high chair our baby was in bed. Sometimes a little goes a long way in terms of providing the small details for guests. It would have been nice to arrive to some essentials for example a small milk or some shower gel. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case and we were left without milk as there was a shortage in Corbridge at the time we stayed. Overall, an ok stay but probably wouldn’t stay again.

We stayed here to attend a football match in Anfield . We have to say the location was really good , close to the train station and just a short walk from shopping, restaurants and the busy city centre. The bus stop for Anfield was close by too . The apartment was modern, clean and spacious and ticked all our boxes . The only downside was that Liverpool didn't unfortunately win on this occasion. Hopefully next time
