Very convenient and stylish apartment, we love everything. The location right at the big carpark opposite the mini golf, we will book this apartment again.

Stunning accommodation in the heart of Whitby yet quietly hidden away behind the impressive Bagdale Hall. Clean, spacious and with all the mod-cons (ironing board, utility room, en suite bathroom). Has its own parking bang outside the front door. 3 bedrooms. Would love to return in winter and make use of the log burner in the lounge. Only minor gripe is we couldn't get the coffee machine to work but I can't speak highly enough of this place.

Great location - walking distance to local shops/bars and cafe. Well presented and well equipped accommodation with secure small garden with seating area. Short driving distance to places along the coast Would definitely recommend and re-visit.

The Emilyn House is an absolutely amazing accommodation, furnished immaculately to the highest standards, with attention to detail in every aspect, with regards to quality and taste. It is located in very serene village of Whitburn, only few minutes walk to the beach and into the village amenities. The accommodation is very spacious, cattering to 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, two spacious living rooms with open plan kitchen leading to a big garden through the patio doors. Prrivate parking availble at the back of the garden, but ample street parking available at all times. Our whole family and kids had a lovely time. I would rate it a full 5 star experience!

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay at Rambler's Rest. The property was very nicely decorated with everything we could have asked for included in the kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and in the garden patio.

Wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable. Rare to find a 2 bed with two double beds! We had a slight issue with the shower, but the owner responded straight away and it was fixed a few hours later! Location is ideal to walk into town with lots of restaurants to choose from. Dog friendly which was a bonus too!

What a brilliant place to stay What a brilliant place to stay, the pictures on the website don’t really do it justice. The owners have really thought about how they want the apartment to look and feel and they have certainly achieved it!! It is a real home from home and we won’t hesitate in booking to stay again and recommend it to friends and family who are looking for some where to stay for a very good price.

We used Host & Stay for a stay in Glenfield Terrace, Loftus, Teesside. The location was perfect for visiting the beautiful coastline and beaches at Saltburn, Skinningrove and Staithes, and the beautiful towns and villages of Guisborough, Great Ayton and Yarm. Great also for a fab evening at Talking Tides Brewery in Marske-by-the-sea. The accommodation was clean and very well equipped. They had even left a dog crate and blankets/bowl and treats to make our dog welcome. The kitchen and bathroom were spacious. The location was on a main through-road but with ample roadside parking and friendly neighbours. Nearby in Loftus was a good selection of takeaways and pubs. Loftus has a few run down bits, but in terms of convenience to get to the nearby attractions, it met our needs. The big plus was how quiet Skinningrove beach was in the evening to let our dog enjoy himself.

Indigo River was in a great location but unfortunately the rest doesn't live up to the pictures etc. cleanliness an issue, cobwebs in every room and all over the place, felt like the cleaning had been done just on the main walking areas etc. some poorly finished furnishings/paint made it look a bit tired and the living area is dark and uncomfortable. Parking is just ok, you need to use the discs and there was a fair amount of moving the car about to avoid a ticket. The biggest issue was there is damp/mould in the twin room, you could smell the mustiness and see it in the windows. I await to hear for some compensation as all i have had is the standard email to say they will fix it for future guests.

It's a lovely apartment to stay in. The views were amazing. We barely knew other people were staying in the same complex. Charlie was brilliant at answering any questions we had. The apartment was so clean and fresh! Would 100% recommend staying here. For the price we felt we hit the jackpot.

Every single detail had been thought of (even things we didn't know we might need!) and the place felt like home in seconds. We were greeted on arrival and received the most generous and inviting welcome pack of tea, coffee, local bakery cakes, locally pressed juice, milk, popcorn AND dog treats and a doggy blanket for the stay!! The photos on the website do not do the place justice, especially the ensuite bedroom, and the hot tub was heaven (and cleaned and checked daily.) We even had a bonus paddock space that acted as a secure dog field next to us which was perfect for Stanley our lurcher who cannot come off the lead. The whole stay was just perfect and it really was a battle each day deciding whether to go and explore the surrounding beauty spots (Whitby/ Saltburn - by-the - Sea/ Runswick Bay and Staithes,to name a few!) or simply cosy up with a book and enjoy the peace and tranquility of The Byre. Perfect location for trips out, as mentioned, and an all-round well considered, thoughtful and generally lovely accommodation ( all with local and eco friendly products, which we loved too!) All information leading up to the stay was spot on and Charlie responded quickly to personal requests, such as turning the twin into a double. Thanks for everything. We did not want to leave. We hope to be back!

Lovely apartment which is located in the middle so is easy to reach north and south by just walking. Lovely little guide book which gives you ideas for food and drinks.

Lovely place to stay, clean, beautifully furnished and good central location. There’s a few things I’d have liked to have known before my visit. 1. It’s on a high street surrounded by bars, cafes and shops and very noisy until the early hours of the morning. Then the draymen start rolling the barrels about 6am. 2. It’s very warm in the bedrooms and the windows don’t open. 3. You can park at the pay and display which are near but they are expensive- £24 a day! 4. There is a mandatory damage fee which we were told about 7-10 days before the stay.
