The actual apartment, in Liverpool City Centre, was amazing, as were the hosts and area! We would definitely go back if we were ever in Liverpool again! The apartment has very comfy beds, lots of essentials, and the two bathrooms were very handy! Lots of access for takeaway places to deliver too The reason for not giving 5 stars was mainly for the car park, I have a very small car, but the car parking space provided in the underground parking is very tight, with a pillar taking up some of the space at the back, and a metal pull up bollard in the middle of the space next to it. Also, as you're parking the lights for the car park go off a lot, so most of the time you are parking in the pitch black!

Very compact.Cozy, clean and comfortable. Kitchen has everytjimg you need and beds are very comfortable. Unsuitable if you have mobilty issues. We really enjoyed our short stay here and would stay here again.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the property. It was spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows.were comfortable. The furniture and fittings were modern and tasteful. The kitchen was well equipped. The TV was excellent, with freeview, Netflix, etc.

Stayed in a Host & Stay property in Whitby in September 2025. The property was unclean on arrival, strong smell of urine throughout the ground floor which we later realised was due to the previous guests urinating in the sink as evidenced by the smell and dried urine marks on the sink and cabinet handles. The beds were messed up and clearly hadn't been changed since they were last slept in with bogeys/snot on the pillowcases in one room and dirty towels on the floor. The shower trays had residue from previous use. The entire property was disgusting. We called immediately and was advised there was nothing they could do, they couldn't arrange a clean until the next day, they couldn't provide alternative accommodation, nor would they contribute towards the cost of alternative accommodation for us. They advised they would send a cleaner the next day and would send us a refund. 3 hours away from home we had no choice but to sleep on the sofas as all other properties in the area were booked. When the clean was done the next day, urine stains remained evident on the bathroom cabinet handles.. As of yet we have received no refund, no apology and no response to my emails enquiring about an update on their "investigation".

Liverpool is a must, great city, so much to see and do. Booking this apartment just topped it off. From the booking to leaving communication was excellent. I would say the best I have experienced. Wonderful location. drove to location and took advantage of the parking at the location. This is where it stayed until we left. Massive bonus. As for the apartment as stated it was located so we could get to all things we wanted to do. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. No issues with the two bathrooms for four adults plenty of hot water. Décor was fine maybe need a little touches here and there but as a rental property you expect some of this. Kitchen had all you needed, Only little gripe would be there was no dishwasher in our apartment, but as we eat out must of the time it wasn't an issue. Maybe a little tip was to leave the washing bowl in the sink (didn't find it until last day) as its a single sink so draining out cups was awkward. Balcony was a nice touch but not really a great view and I did enjoy a coffee in the mornings. If anyone is looking to stay in Liverpool I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely, clean and modern apartment with beautiful sea views. The host provides coffee, tea and milk on arrival and the apartment is located right opposite the beach near the centre of town. The hosts are responsive and provided all the necessary information in good time. Highly recommended.

An owners perspective on Host & Stay. In a word, “Avoid” this company when considering letting your property. The initial sales side is slick and professional, but the service delivery is pretty dismal by comparison, particularly when sold as a “premium” service. We were first-timers to the letting market and were initially impressed with the offering as portrayed by the salesperson that we met at our property. They promised a hassle-free high-end service for owners who want to rent their properties with a minimum of personal involvement. We signed up to their “premium” service at a net cost of 18% commission (VAT inclusive). We have been with them since the end of June and unfortunately have experienced a very poor service offering from them, and it has proven to be anything but hassle-free. Despite endless notes of apology and acceptance of our frustrations and their mistakes, it continued to the point where we had recently had enough and suggested we agree to part ways by mutual consent and put the engagement with them down to experience. We agreed to honour existing bookings but said no more were to be taken. At that point, they suggested we were bound to stick with them for the balance of the contract and notice period despite all the shortcomings, so trying to bind us into a continuing negative experience with them when we had already become totally exasperated. I find it somewhat rich to be told that notwithstanding the fundamental failures and mistakes that were made, we were now tied into that on a continuing basis. Needless to say, I’m not accepting but thought I ought to warn others not to be taken in by the sales offering when the reality is very different to that. It has unfortunately spoilt our experience and will make us very circumspect in the future.

Very light and spacious. Two lovely spotless bedrooms and the flat has everything you need for a super short stay. Fifteen minute walk from Lime St Station and similar to the Pier Head. Will definitely stay again.

This complaints department of this company is non existent or badly broken.I visited a host and stay property in Alnwick in June. I sent an email with some feedback which needed to be addressed. Despite numerous emails and phone calls, all promising that someone will call me back, no one has done so. i know they might be busy but 4 months to reply ?? come on
