Had a fabulous 5 nights at The Blacksmiths. Warkworth is a beautiful little village and The Blacksmiths sits on the main road close to great places to eat and drink. The accommodation is handily all on one floor and is nicely furnished with everything you could need for a short break. If you're luck enough to visit I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time as well.

Worthy of a definite five stars in every respect in our opinion. Booking and subsequent communication regarding arrival and checking in was straightforward. Lavender Cottage offers home from home, well appointed and comfortable accommodation.

We have just enjoyed a lovely stay at Glenholme House. The flat was clean and bright with a wonderful seaview. The beach is literally across the road! The flat is within walking distance of amenities and the town centre. We found the company very efficient and quick to respond to any queries. We particularly liked the online guide book we were sent prior to arrival. Would have no problem recommending.

Stayed in Badgers Cottage, Saltburn by the sea as family of 4 adults and 2 kids. It was lovely, very spacious beautifully laid out kitchen. The small accompaniment of Bread and coffee was very welcomed after the drive there. Its a quiet area with bus right outside the pub to go Whitby or middlesborough. The pub Queens arms does a lovely spread. Proper good scran and well enjoyed after day at the beach. Most of saltburn is dog friendly and its and absolute joy. Definitely going back again.

Great place. Great view. Very clean and organised. The parking permit was a plus. The umbrella was a great personal touch. Very useful. Staff was very helpful to help me out with a last minute unexpected scheduling issue. Nothing to say but good words about the entire experience.

Accommodation was good but some areas let it down, but these could have been avoided by the management company. Boiler wasn't working, and needed to be reset. Fortunately we had knowledge of how to do it, otherwise it would have been a weekend with no heating or hot water. Reported to Host and stay via their emergency line. Rang 5 times left a voicemail and email. Nearly 24hrs later we had a response. No substance to the response. Some other areas of concern but nothing about the house, more Host and Stay.

The house was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. The beds were amazingly comfortable. A couple of minute drive to Cayton Bay beach and 15 minutes to Scarborough. Our 2 grandsons wanted to live there forever!! We will definitely be back.

We stayed in The Birds Nest in Whitby and first impressions were good. However, once we sat and looked around it became a little less impressive. The dust on the surfaces was so thick I left a trail with me finger. The sink and drainer were dirty and some things just looked a bit tired. The apartment complex looks like it has money spent on it and the bonus of a parking space drew us to it but it’s either been finished cheaply or the cleaners and maintenance people are just not very good. The location seemed wonderful as it’s away from the amusement side of Whitby and was a nice ten min walk into the town but the first night was horrific. The windows might as well not be there as they don’t block out any sound from the road below and there seems to be an unsavoury band of boy racers that drive around in a circuit blowing out their exhausts on purpose until 1am on both nights we were there. Couldn’t sleep. Also, two of the windows have no covering so it’s bright from about 4am. We were so tired by the time we left instead of feeling refreshed. Also, this company bombard you constantly with emails, I must have had 15 before we arrived and at least 3 whilst we were there for the 2 nights. We also paid £25 accidental damage insurance so that they didn’t take a huge deposit. I wouldn’t bother next time, they ought to be refunding us for a pretty rubbish experience. Whitby itself is stunning. Loads of chip shops, loads of lovely cafes and bars. Cute shops and the Abbey is a must visit, Whitby brewery too.

Brilliant location and lovely 3 bedroom house. Very central to Scarborough, amazing views and clean property with everything you need for short stays. Very good value for money, would definitely stay again.

Terrible company . They cancelled my booking and then tried to keep my money stating I had no cancellation refund policy. After three weeks of messages i finally managed to get most of my money back but was again told the £25 damage waiver fee I had paid was non refundable. Suffice to say i shall never use this company again . Shocking customer service.

Easy and convenient booking with Host & Stay. Plus a wonderful guidebook on our property/local area. There was a separate insurance fee charged that I would have preferred as one lump payment/incorporated into rates.

Very cosy apartment with spectacular views of Redcar beach, and walking distance the town centre. Ideal for home office and holidays. My only complaint would be that the Nespresso machine is so modern it wasn't possible to find capsules for it in the supermarket, but this gave me the opportunity to rediscover instant coffee! I will definitely stay here if the apartment available for future visits.

Everything about this property is perfect, the location ideal for groups looking for good nightlife, the complex is less then a minute walk from concert square and about a 2 minute walk from loads of shops, will definitely stay again soon staff at reception extremely friendly/helpful

Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation in Scarborough. Just a couple of gripes. All the kitchen electrical appliances (fridge freezer, oven) were switched off, not a problem other than having to search in the cupboards for the plugs. However, the freezer contained ice that had melted and was causing abig puddle on the kitchen floor. Beds were comfortable although the bedding on the main (double) bed was not clean and contained what looked like mold stains. Garden area was scruffy, not a big problem in Dec/Jan and assume will be sorted for spring? Good comms with Host & Stay overall just a few niggles to iron out with this accommodation.
