This was a gem of a place to stay in - it worked perfectly for our family and dog group so we would definitely consider booking it again

The unit was lovely with good facilities. We did enjoy our stay. However a big negative was NO parking , which is one of the reasons we booked this stay. Booking .com add indicated free parking , 3 spots at the unit were for owners use and clamps used if you parked there and street parking was down a steep hill and very hard to get.This was a big disappointment! The internet was good but we got messages /warnings from our phones to say we were being tracked , not good! And lastly we got a email at the end of our stay to say make sure you leave everything clean and tidy , this was totally unnecessary and very unusual ,we have never received a email like this in any other accomodation.

Excellent property, all mod cons! Nice village and local pubs close by and easy access to surrounding areas by car. Host and Stay were great, simple check in and out and very responsive. Had a great time.

The accommodation converted from a village hall was extremely good- once the bonkers location of the cutlery was solved thanks to the house keeper. A bit bonkers too that the first enquiry was answered in the Phillipines. For this area for a small party this is an ideal location Overall delighted to report that I would highly recommend this self catering property. Added immediate attraction is the attached coffee house Bean Genie. Such lovely people.

We absolutely loved our time at The Archers Country House. Big enough to not get in each others' way and cosy enough for family time together. Stunning views and a challenging golf course nearby. Friendly, helpful communication from the hosts. We will definitely re-book when family visit.

Fabulous place Very clean with loads of extras Very central to York, Whitby etc Great showers, loads of kitchen bits, plenty of cutlery pans etc Very comfortable Will return, great access for people with trouble walking, only 2 steps into property 10 / 10

Had a great 5 days. Enjoyed the sea views and waking up to the sound of the waves on the beach. The house is modern and well equiped. The only problem we had was the front patio door that is awkward to open, close and lock - my wife couldn't do it.

9 argyle street Liverpool - Very clean, very nicely decorated and an excellent central location with parking! An ideal base for a city visit. Only issue was insanely noisy seagulls - not the hosts’ fault!

We had a mixed experience with H&S. communication was good and prompt but that’s about as far as it goes. When we arrived we found the towels to be dirty. They were prompt to respond but it was the following morning before the towels were exchanged. They contacted us to tell us we’d left some clothes in the apartment. We arranged with H&S to gave these sent on to our home address. These have never been posted. Contacted their main ‘customer service’ address and they’ve not even bothered to reply. I have had contact, always initiated by me, and they’ve always promise to look into the situation but never do. I’m resigned to the fact the clothes won’t be returned and that the housekeeping are probably wearing it. Not great customer service at all. I would think twice about using them.

The coach house retreat was a fantastic find for comfortable accommodation in Whitby a pleasant walk along the west cliff into town. The apartment is perfect for us dog friendly it was very clean and well presented the bed was very comfortable. Great kitchen with all you need, nice bathroom with bath and shower there are also 2 toilets. You could easily accommodate 2 more people. We certainly will be booking again as it exceeded our expectations Eric and Jue
