Stayed for 4 nights at Bluebell Cottage in Bamburgh. Lovely cottage and ideally located. However ........... Host & Stay should be avoided. When booking the cottage via Booking.com there was no mention in the "Important Information" that a damage waiver is required in case of accidental damage. A one off payment of £30 or a damage deposit of £250 which they will refund less a £10 admin fee after inspection of the property. They failed to refund in a timely manner and communication was not great. Profiteering ..... Host & Stay could potentially have customers money for nearly a month in a high interest account. This should be clearly stated when booking.

Terrible company. Had the worst experience with them on a recent holiday cottage. Had to vacate a fay early as nothing was getting resolved despite raising a complaint the 1st morning. No working TV, extractor fan, light or ice machine. No essentials like tea towels, oven gloves, cling film etc. Customer service is shocking, takes weeks to respond and on a £420 holiday, they have offered less than £30.

Very comfortable and well set up. Everything was exactly as advertised, and communication from Host&Stay was very good. Only problem was that we couldn't find the thermostat.

This was my 2nd visit 1 The Mount. It’s a beautiful light and airy house on 3 levels. Lots of privacy for small groups, perfect location – minutes from town and beach, sea views from the large kitchen/living area. It also has a dedicated parking space. Sadly, the property is let down by the management company, Host and Stay. I notified them twice during my stay that the cooker hob did not work and therefore we were unable to cook anything (as planned). Host and Stay did not respond or try to resolve the issue until after I had returned home. I received an email saying “Sorry, hope it didn’t spoil your stay”. Well of course it did! All guests had to go out to eat (in gale force winds and torrential rain) at additional cost and inconvenience. Most of the food we had brought with us was wasted and it completely turned our plans upside down. Host and Stay offered a small refund, however, this was 10 days ago and despite chasing up several times, I have heard nothing and received nothing. I am not happy. I can recommend the property but NOT Host and Stay.

Sand and surf Whitby … Really poor cleanliness .. urine stains.. dirt .. mud all throughout the property .. clearly not been hoovered or cleaned properly prior to arrival .. reported it ..to be told a cleaner would be round the next day to sort it .. no cleaner came .. then told no cleaner would be coming. Wifi code didn’t work .. reported it .. sent same wifi passcode that doesn’t work. Shower floods .. water doesn’t drain away quick enough. Sofa in front room is terrible .. really in uncomfy. Ironing board .. but no iron. Marks and stains throughout the property. Won’t be returning.. won’t be recommending.

A great place a two minute walk into town very clean and tidy, only 4 stars because of an issue with the electric tripping out once which took a number of hours to resolve. But would highly recomend

FLEET STREET APARTMENTS Very damp and mouldy property we were in the apartment which was the basement had no windows with no phone signal and WiFi was terrible. Toilet doors didn't close or lock, one of the single beds were broken, not enough pillows provided, sofa was broken and the apartment was overall disgusting but the location was amazing!

Lovely host and great location Lovely host, great communication, great location, so near to go around Liverpool, most of them within walking distance. nice and cosy apartment, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely will stay again if we are in Liverpool next time. Thank you also Charlie for a quick response every time I needed an assistance.

Lovely central cottage very clean and comfortable. Great contact with owner do that arrival was easy. Would have been a nice touch to have a welcome pack.

Left the key to the woman who worked at the reception when we checked out. After a few days, an invoice arrives that we did not hand in the key..... Even after I pointed out that they actually received the key, they insist on getting paid. Don't book here, you never know what they will come up with..

This is a lovely house, close to Barnard Castle town centre but in a very quiet location. Beautifully decorated and equipped. Comfortable beds. Free WiFi. Looking out onto the River Tees with a delightful balcony from which to enjoy the view.

The place itself was well appointed, but the key issues we had were as follows:- 1. The place was advertized as having a washer and drier when we booked, which we needed. There was not a washer and drier in the appartment, or anywhere else in the building, meaning we had the inconveience of having to go and find a place ourselves. We would have never booked if we had known this. We expected some form of compensation for this but non has been forthcoming 2 Our stay was for 5 days, and we where left 1 toilet roll only 3 The dishwasher was very compact so plates and cutlery for breakfast and evening meal filled it. We were left 2 dishwasher tablets only, we had to buy more 4 Also minimal washing up liquid, we had to buy more 5 At all other Airbnb's we've stayed at ample coffee and tea has been supplied, here there was only enough for 4 cups, again we had to buy more We did enquire to the owner regarding the washer and drier after we arrived and he replied " have you checked the kitchen and utility room?" Firstly I felt this was an insult to our intelligence, and secondly it indicated he has never set foot in the property. All in all very disappointed in the false advertizing, poor provisions supplied and then the response we got back from the owner. John & Jill

Beautifully clean and very well equipped and comfortable. Two very comfortable king size bedrooms and single. Very modern furnishings lively kitchen diner and lounge with a huge tv with plenty of streaming channels if needed. Great Independent shower with strong water pressure and.bath for a lovely soak. Lovely central location not noisy and v near the station which is easily accessible. 5 mins walk from sea front bars cafes and restaurants further up the street. Highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Sehr schönes Haus - Super Location - sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe und das Online Lieferservice funktioniert auch gut. Aldi ist auch gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, da es ein Selbstversorger Haus ist. Broadstairs ist sehr schön zu Fuß zu erreichen. Parkplatz haben wir auch immer ein paar Straßen weiter gefunden und war lediglich ein 2 Minuten Fußmarsch.
