Absolutely wonderful weekend, superb host and apartment was really nice (clean and ideal location). Building has quite a bit of construction work going on (we were told prior to the stay) so had a slight problem with the parking space however the hosts were very good and this was sorted almost instantly! Other than this it was perfect! Thank you so much and I hope to come back and stay again :)

Thank you for such a lovely week away! Positives: newly decorated and furnished great 1st floor bathroom super vista on the top floor comfy beds and good linen and towels mod cons and accessories in the kitchen easy booking, e-mail replies, communications Negatives: if you're not really mobile, a mile to Whitby beach and accommodation over 3 floors my 80 year old dad had to straddle the toilet to see in the bathroom mirror for a shave there was an awful stale garlic stench on the top floor from arriving to leaving a week later

Apartment was perfect for what we needed, plenty of room and everything we needed in the kitchen. The only negative was that the water pressure was really poor in both showers, and the sinks. Also a bit of a damp smell in bathrooms but they don’t have windows so probably need a good air out. Great location with easy walkable distances to Lime street, the docks and the cavern quarter. Would definitely stay again

Great place to stay, easy check-in and check out. Only downsides were the terrace area was quite dirty, beds are very small, double bedroom outside door did not lock and the handle was broken. Also only one toilet roll per bathroom.

Absolutely amazing place. So much space; the decor is lovely and modern; comfy beds; spacious kitchen; and the garden is huge! Amble and Alnmouth are only a short drive away, and there is a great ice cream place around the corner. We loved the Lodge and will definitely be coming back!

Great property on Holy Island, comfortable and with an eye to detail. All the organisation of the stay was flawless.

Booked for one cottage for 3 weeks, was lovely - but owner did the work, H&S did nothing - except take £25 “insurance” (I took that options vs give them £250 and wait 10 days to get it back minus £10 admin fee (rip off). Booked another 10 days stay. Turned up, place smelled of dog. I hate dogs and especially hate the smell of other peoples dogs in a place I am staying. Bathroom was filthy. Floor brown with dirt. Shower grout covered in brown stains / mildew. Complained, they haven’t yet turned up to clean, so I went and got cleaning products and did it myself. Also muddy rug, broken lamp, heating control didn’t work, I went and got some new batteries otherwise we wouldn’t have had heating. On top of this of course another £25 insurance charge. I complained and said what are you spending the money on as you haven’t cleaned properly and haven’t replaced the broken lampshade so it’s just money for you. Will not use again, will stick to Airbnb where the charge is the charge. It’s the owners responsibility to have insurance not the guest, and it’s the management company responsibility to clean, not the guest. Example - floor photos before and after.

Such a beautiful cottage we stayed in, so would definitely recommend! Only downsides were that there was a significant lack of basic items - no freezer, tea towels, coffee, body wash, shampoo/conditioner which was unexpected. We also experienced water dripping from the kitchen ceiling whenever we had a shower (and we weren't having significantly ling showers!). That said, the cottage was so cosy yet minimal, that we had a lovely time and would definitely return :) It was also super easy to check in and Host & Stay were incredibly quick with their responses, so all in all, a very good experience.

Fabulous apartment, very clean and stylish. Great communication and ideas on where to go from the host company. Loved that we could also park for free outside the apartment. Only a 25 minute walk to Albert Docks but so much nearby. Some lovely restaurants and pubs, Blackburn Arms and The Quarter. Also Tesco Express for top up food and drinks. Highly recommend

Great location for exploring Liverpool, especially the Baltic triangle. Although neighbourhood is busy, the flat is quiet.

Sandpipers is in a good location for exploring the local area and very close to the A1. The host and stay guidebook was useful for locating the property and had good recommendations of things to do in the area etc. Modern bathrooms, good sized garden and parking was easy.

First and foremost, the accommodation was absolutely immaculate. What I also loved was that it was more than fully equipped: obviously, it had the standard kettle, toaster, microwave, oven but it also had a coffee machine, milk sachets in the fridge, blenders, things needed to bake, a washing machine and dryer. The additional DVD player (with films), a full bookcase, colouring equipment, Netflix, children's books and games was fabulous. Sofas and beds were comfy, bedding and towels were of excellent quality and the two bathrooms were much appreciated. The onsite parking, along with the handy location means we will definitely stay again. There is scaffolding on the building next door which is unsightly and prevents 2 cars fitting in, but for us, this wasn't a massive problem. Communication with the letting team was excellent and replies to queries we had were speedily answered. The one issue we had was that the walls are paper thin and the noise from the bar/apartments behind was so loud I could even hear it through ear plugs. All in all, a fabulous holiday apartment with everything you could possibly need.

Be warned. They charge you a ÂŁ10 fee for the privilege of paying a ÂŁ250 damages deposit, on top of paying the entire non refundable fee for your stay up front the moment you book.
