Loved our stay at captains deck in Saltburn with our family. Was great for our toddler and dog too. Will definitely stay again. Plenty of space and incredible views of the sea

Really enjoyed our stay at saltburn by the sea! Much better than Whitby! The view we had was lovely and Pippa the pup thought it was great also! The access the the beach was easy and doggies allowed on it too. Definitely keeps you fit walking up and down the stairs too the beach. The amenities around are great, not needing to walk to far. The actual host and stay itself in the anchor away room was lovely!⚓ Everything you needed and more. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Cheviot View. Plenty of space and very clean generally. The location was great with lovely views in a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Only slightly negative points would be there were a couple of cleanliness issues (master bedroom toilet) and some of the decor was a little dated but neither impacted our stay hugely. The only major suggestion would be replacing living room sofas. Many of us of all ages found them very old, unsupportive and ache-inducing. Particularly problematic for my elderly parents and two other members with back issues. Apart from that we would definitely go back again.

Special thanks to the manager who rescued us when we did not arrive. Once we found the place in the late night rain, we had a great stay. We appreciated the Duck theme. There was ample room for three people. The kitchen was stocked with most things needed for basics but if important to you, bring seasonings. Some minor inconveniences happened but did not affect our stay overall.

Pepper Pot was very clean, warm, home from home with everything we needed for 3 nights. The bed was really comfortable and the shower super. Lovely quiet, dark nights with no light pollution. Lots to see and do around the local area and beyond. Only 4 miles from Alnwick, with plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants. Supermarkets only a mile or two away.

Fabulous little cottage, very homely and cosy, a great location, close to shops, pubs etc and a 5 minute walk down to the harbour, would definitely recommend, our first visit to Whitby and loved it so would use this cottage again if we ever revisit.

Everything was ok on booking. But then when we were on our way they said the hot water wasn't working. So instead of sorting before we got there they were not able to sort until the 3rd evening. We had a 3 year old with us. Ok we know these things happen. But then they refused to give any compensation for the stay. Nothing. Now these things can happen, I suppose. Albeit we own holiday cottages and the one time it has happened we have fixed it within 4hours. And also proactively gave something for the inconvenience. But these guys it is just avoidance. I think if things go wrong with these guys you are stuffed.... I would not book with them again.

A great Apartment that was immaculate, Comfortable bed, bright and modern! It really is all about the location.. 5mins walk to the swing bridge in the centre of Whitby! The only downside is the parking, because it's down a little alleyway where there are several other holiday let's.. You have to unload your things in a loading bay on a one way system! Scratch cards are provided but it's a bit awkward dropping your stuff off then finding a parking space! Especially when you are on your own with a dog! But parking in Whitby can be an issue! I think for the price I'd stay again 👍

Beautiful apartment and in close proximity to everything for a weekend away. Well equipped apartment and stunning views of the beach. Definitely try Olivers for the fish and chips and Gabrielle’s for INCREDIBLE ice creams and deserts. The arcades were well priced with decent wins/prizes. Very close to the local high street for everything you need. Lots of stairs to flat 2 but we managed to get parked in zone H so wasn’t too bad plus got your steps in! Will deffo be back for another visit - all locals soooo friendly too!

We used Host & Stay for our York accommodation needs. We loved our accomodation and would recommend using Host & Stay not just based on the accomodation, but their customer service was also excellent. They left a goodies basket in the accomodation for when I arrived which was a lovely, thoughtful touch! We will be using Host & Stay for more upcoming trips!

Great location at the top of cliff (walking down quite easy). Rooms are large and comfy with good shower downstairs. Chinese restaurant underneath is good but few places nearby otherwise. (July 2023) outside renovations are blocking some views but workers are considerate.

Please see the attached photos for my comments on No. 5 Hoggarths Yard Whitby. In addition, the shower screen appears to be leaking as there has been water behind the bathroom door which has caused the bottom of the right hand door frame behind the bathroom door to rot. There was a large dog bed, nice touch. Nice enclosed secure back patio area. Well located for Whitby Town centre and close to Sainsburys. All amenities within walking distance. Quiet. Own parking space directly outside front door.

So glad we found this place. Had a great week here. Clean, bright and sunny. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Very quiet, both during the day and at night. Nice decorating. Would definitely stay here again.
