What a lovely place to stay! We had two fabulous nights in this great property which has everything you could possibly want including a view to die for! Highly recommend for a great stay in Saltburn!

Gulls Haven was a great cottage to base a stay in Staithes, and having the benefit of a parking space. Close to all the amenities but private enough to be not overlooked, and insulated from outside noise. Visiting in January it initially was cold inside but the many heaters and the real fire soon warmed through. Only suggestions were to have some fuel provided, but there are plenty of shops or villages selling wood or smokeless coal. Also there was no oven glove, but we got by!

The flat looks amazing. Unfortunately, I went there when the lift is broken. We had to walk a lot because the flat is on the top floor. Make sure you ask the host before booking that the lift is working.

Golden Lion Apartments is the Worst place I have ever stayed in at Whitby . Place was dirty and we had to go and buy something to clean it with as there was none in the apartment. Heating in the living room and kitchen didn’t work. The Vacuum cleaner we used that was there smelled so bad we had to stop using it. Walls are so thin you can hear every movement and word from the apartment above. Despite being told there was wifi there wasn’t and we got absolutely no where when we phoned host and stay for help totally useless all they would say is can you reset the router even though there wasn’t one there. We were told someone would be there to sort it out so we waited in but no one ever came. Total joke once they’ve taken your money they couldn’t care less avoid at all costs.

Lovely apartment. Very clean, modern and comfortable and in a perfect location. We definately book again when we return to York. If you want to explore York then can highly recommend York Cycle Tours, Cecil is brilliant.

We stayed at The Paddock in Netherton. It was brilliant! Amazing location surrounded by fields and nature. Very spacious accommodation, exceptionally clean and modern. Also the owners had thought of the little things, like I forgot milk but there were some little pots already in the fridge. It was honesty beautiful- thank you so much x

Sunset view is a lovely holiday home with fabulous views. Very clean and well appointed. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. No complaints at all ,would definitely use again.

Lovely apartment. Very clean, well equipped, beds are very comfortable and the decor is really nice. Location is fantastic with it being a 10 minute walk to the centre. And parking is an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for our trip to Liverpool for a birthday and found it perfect. It was so cozy and spacious so worth the price, very central and nice neighborhood. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more will definitely be back! Only issue we had was the en-suite bedroom door handle doesn’t work from the inside and we kept accidentally locking ourselves in but gave us all a laugh. Really loved this apartment

The house was very pleasant. The downstairs rooms (living room and kitchen) were big enough for the 6 of us. Bedrooms very large and comfortable. Bathrooms were also well furnished. This house is centrally located in whitby, I.e. a 2 minute walk to some shops and pubs. We were delighted at the location. In such a place, parking is not always easy to come by, but we were lucky enough to find a space close to the house. We brought wood, kindling, as well as tea bags etc as these aren't provided. But it's worth bringing them as the house is lovely and warm when the fire is blazing! Overall, I'd recommend due to the quality of the house and location within whitby.

A lovely modern apartment in a great location... Its a shame that the customer service is absolutely shocking, as they didn't even care enough to get back to my complaint that I made 15 days ago... These are the things that my ignored complaint didn't include that I think also more then warrant complaining about, the apartment was unclean with stains on the blanckets and in the kitchen and hairs all over the couches ( they were literally covered in what looked like white dog hair), they even make you pay a cleaning fee for the privilege. The apartment above us must have been some form of tap dancing kid group that spent the entire time tapping away and playing musical chairs scraping and banging across the floor till gone midnight. The instructions fail to mention that when the hot water tank is empty it takes hours to fill back up and you just have to do without hot water. Now to what I actually did complain about, on the first day of my holiday the enclosed courtyard had a manhole that overflowed sewage everywhere, having dogs it was lucky that I spotted this otherwise they could have gotten very ill or trapesed it in to the apartment . Subsequently late that afternoon we had to make sure we were in the apartment and cut our exploring whitby short to let the drain people in to sort the problem. After they left, the courtyard will still covered in sewage so I had no choice but to spend my evening spent chucking buckets of hot soapy water over the courtyard to clean it myself so that my dogs had somewhere to toilet at night. As you can imagine this is not how i imagned spending my time on my holiday. So If you want spend your hard earned time off cleaning sewage in unclean apartment and being kept up at night from noisey neighbours then feel free to Book this place yourself.

Very pleased with our stay at The Gathering. The house was clean, nicely presented and we enjoyed the hot tub. The host was able to fulfil any of our requests

We asked before the stay 3 times re the parking as we all went as a family in 3 different cars. We were told we are fine to park behind the property in a small alleyway. On arrival we asked once again and we were told the same and they also confirmed that it is free to park. We drove behind the property and parked it. To our surprise we received parking ticket worth of £210 which was a nightmare. We contacted the host and we were told that to send evidence of ticket and then they will sort the ticket out. We sent an email, unfortuantely we received a response and was told that they cannot refund us. We had to pay the price for a misleading information provided to us. We sent screenshots of conversation which was intentionally ignored and neglected to understand the circumstances. Extremely poor knowledge of information provided. Secondly, the hob was not working. We had 4 children, one was 10+ and others were below 5yrs old. We contacted the host, no response and eventually we had to order the food for the rest of the stay as we were unable to cook. We paid £600+ worth of money to stay and due to misleading information and then neglegence of helping us re the hob eventually ended up spending more than our budget which was stressful and our holiday ended up experiencing neglect and ignorance. The hosts never bothered to respond for parking tickets and under working hob. Unable to provide zero star so had to give 1 not even a half star for the worth of stay. The only thing that was worth staying there was to take stress, experience ignorant hosts and ignorance to our emails and misleading communication. Extremely poor quality of service. Airbnb has to compensate for their service.
