Great view & location which is why we chose it. We did have some issues with the bedroom radiator not working & also the bar stools missing from the breakfast bar. Good comms but sadly these issues were not resolved.

The property was very clean and had great facilities including modern shower and large LCD TV. Towels and toiletries were provided and there was plenty of parking on site. It was also in a very good, quiet location. The instructions on how to find the place as well as check-in/check out were fantastic as well as the communications from the team. I would highly recommend using Host & Stay!

What an excellent property and location. Everything about the property was of a very high standard. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The house, which is detached, has a drive for 2 cars and is very spacious internally. All furnishings and fittings are of excellent quality and spec. The location is excellent too, quiet yet central. All in all, this is the best holiday let we have ever stayed at.

Great check in which was flexible. Great location we walked into central York in 30mins, off road parking No recycling facilities which meant we took ours home Lovely home with lots of space A shame we couldn't have a later check out but it worked out anyway

Brilliant location in Liverpool city centre (Arguile Street) , exceptionally clean & spacious apartment with comfy beds & all mod cons. Great communication from the team pre & post check in. We will book this again for sure.

Stayed 2 nights at the Milton in Saltburn-by-the-Sea - great location for shops and train station, lovely apartment can sleep 5, amazing TV! We would definitely come back - oh its dog friendly as well!

Stayed down here for work recently & I thoroughly enjoyed it as did my work colleague I've reccomended this place to my work for future bookings as its cost effective and extremely homely. I'll be back again next time im down kind regards.

Booked accommodation for two nights in Liverpool; unfortunately, the accommodation we were due to stay in had a leak the day we arrived! The team however managed to sort this for us and got us in alternative accommodation with no disruption to our trip. Couldn’t have been more apologetic even though it obviously wasn’t their fault. The accommodation we got moved to was actually a brand new property, and had all the facilities we required and was lovely and clean. We were just unsure of the WiFi password or how to access; this could be because it was a new property or we just didn’t look in the correct place. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely seek out the same company when travelling again :)

The Chimneys - Alnmouth This is a lovely, comfortable and spacious house and we enjoyed our stay but on this occasion we have given three stars due mainly to terms and conditions being added after we had booked eg insurance payment or damage waiver. We booked using booking . Com and tbf I think the insurance term was there but not particularly obvious as others have commented. We were also invited to extend our stay by one night which we did directly with host and stay. This then led to an unacceptable level of emails and texts asking us to checkout a day early as their automated system could note cope with the variation in contract. I have counted up to 40 exchanges of text and email between myself and host and stay.!! The extra day was a complete waste of time as i was having to deal with all the bureaucratic nonsense. Such a shame as this property has the potential to be excellent but just not for us in this occasion.

We stayed at Turnstones Apartment in Whitby from 9-12 June 2024. Fabulous apartment with underground secure car parking. A ten minute walk into the centre of Whitby.

Was confronted with hidden fees, service was poor and (aside from the mis-selling with the price to pay/fees) the accuracy of the property listing was poor and looked to deceive. Will be sure to avoid in the future... the price you pay to reserve the booking (despite being shown as 'total to pay including all charges') is not the total amount you will be asked for in order to stay with Host & Stay.

Spotlessly clean and very well equipped and furnished, modern apartment in a perfect location. Lovely sea views from the lounge and one of the bedrooms. Excellent communication from staff. We have deducted 1 star because: The apartment we stayed in (The Lookout) was up 57 stairs and there is no lift. I think this needs to be made clearer in the details. The lights on the stairs are not working and the carpet is loose on one of the steps leading to Sandy Cove apartment - a potentially dangerous combination. My husband, and I understand on another occasion other guests, were locked out of the building by someone dropping the clasp on the yale lock on the front door. A sign warning people not to do this may be useful. Some of the local information in the online guide needs to be updated. We went for breakfast to a cafe described as dog-friendly only to be told they didn't allow dogs inside.

Stayed at the Little Lobster apartment in Scarborough. One double ensuite room and one twin, plus a lovely bathroom. The living and kitchen area are amazing - very well fitted out and comfortable. Lovely part of Scarbs with a side sea view and short walk to the funicular to the seafront and the South Cliff gardens.

Exceptionally clean home in a quaint and safe neighborhood in Whitby. It has a beautiful view of a neighboring village and quick 15-20 minute walk to attractions in town (including Whitby Abbey - pictured).

This property is finished to a high standard and was very clean. Location was good for us visiting family in the Wakefield area. It's next to a main road but was very quiet and peaceful. The property is very spacious. Personally we would have preferred a dining table rather than a pool table, but obviously we knew what we were getting when we booked, and some people may love the pool table. We did find it was a little 'style over substance' though since it was missing some basic things. There is no teapot or cafetiere, no draining board next to the sink, and no provision of basic foodstuffs like sugar, salt, oil etc. There were 3 of us staying, but I imagine an extra chair in the lounge would be needed if there were 4 guests. A little extra attention to those details would have got 5 stars.

Fantastic apartment in a perfect location, walking distance to pubs, cafes, bakers, butchers, shops, hairdressers, fish and chip shops and of course the Beach which we visited and was fabulous. The apartment itself has everything and more to make your stay perfect. Comfortable beds nice and bright rooms, fabulous decor and although the apartment is above a pub that did not bother us one bit. We cannot wait to book and stay here again. Amazing amazing amazing
