We had a fabulous break. Retreat by the sea. Was modern clean and very equipped everything we needed. We only had a 100 meter walk to the beach. We can highly recommend it and we would stay there again.

I recently stayed in a host and stay property in Knaresborough. The property was exactly as described and contained everything you could need for a self catering holiday. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Communication from host and stay from the time of booking to end of our break was very good. Highly recommended.

Princess Place is a lovely little place to stay for a couple of nights . right in the heart of Whitby, close to all amenities, shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, it was so peaceful with no road noises or people walking past. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place. Super location this was our second visit in this property and we will return. With the price of energy at the moment I really think a toaster would be more efficient and ecomical than using the oven grill .

Disappointing response time and help whilst on our break. House we had booked for 20th wedding anniversary was dirty, house not maintained well, WiFi not working and dishwasher out of order. Sent someone next day to look at WiFi and dishwasher, had to chase them to see if anyone had been and where they were up to with repairs. Very poor service

This cottage is so cute its a lovely place, lots of space for our group of 7 and well equipped for longer stays, Bedrooms are comfy we all slept well. On the doorstep to Helmsley Square and all the shops and pubs and restaurants. We would defiantly stay here again in the future. The only thing which needs to be improved is the cleaner needs to tackle the cobwebs, these were really noticeable.

Emerald Hideaway, Saltburn The communication regarding the booking was brilliant. Host and Stay provide plenty of useful information about the apartment and Saltburn. On arrival there was loads of free on site parking available ( we were out of season so this may change in the height of summer). The apartment is on the second floor of the house. The communal entry and staircase is tatty but the apartment itself was lovely. It is well maintained and suitably equipped for short stays. It is very well located for the seafront, bars and shops around Saltburn and the train station. Loads of walking potential in Saltburn and plenty of places to have a drink or meal.

We found our appartment, Tyne View to be absolutely stunning. Great view from the living room and very well appointed throughout. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The washer/dryer is a nice touch and allows you to travel a little lighter if like us you arrive by rail. The bad side of our experience was that the property entry details were incorrect. Luckily we were assisted by a neighbour who helped us gain access. Also 2 days after we left I am still getting emails saying I need to vacate the property by 10 am you also failed to provide the link required to pay the required insurance during the booking process. All small details that just need a bit attention to detail in future but you are well on the way to providing a great property and service. We loved our stay despite the admin issues and will very likely return. Thank you.

Only giving one star because 0 isn’t an option. Absolutely shocking company for communication. Booked one of their properties via air BnB. Tried to contact them through different ways and took a week for them to get back only to tell me that that property isn’t available even though I’d already paid a deposit. Glad I didn’t wait till the date of my stay and just turn up! Also the lady Emma I was emailing in regards to this also told me that air BnB had refunded me and it would be in my account in the next few days only to contact air BnB to confirm this, for them to tell me they wasn’t aware of the cancellation or anything I had mentioned. Luckily air bnb got on to it and resolved my issue quickly and efficiently. Would not recommend this company at all.

Don’t use this company. I booked a weekend away in Whitby a couple of months ago and on the Tuesday before we were due to go they called me to say the property was no longer available due to maintenance issues. I was due to go the Friday of that week, so got almost no notice. I cancelled the booking through AirBNB and then 20 minutes later received a call from the property owner asking why I had cancelled! I explained what happened, and ended up booking the same property via the owner through AirBNB slightly cheaper than through Host and Stay. I still don’t know why I was lied to by two different people through this organisation but I would advise anyone looking to book through them to find another company to book through.

The cottage was lovely! A great location, that is ideally located for what we wanted....The kitchen was great and the beds lovely and comfy....A log burner was a great surprise too, just what was needed after a long cold day! Thank you!!

The accommodation we stayed at in Saltburn by the sea was great, very clean and in a great location for bars, restaurants, coffee shops and walking distance to the beach. Host and Stay kept me updated prior to my stay, during and reminders the day we were leaving. Great customer service and will definitely book with them again.

Very poor customer service and response to issues during my family stay. Complaints procedure and handling of my complaint with this company very poor - the worst I have experienced. WoW I sent feedback, a formal complaint and my concerns multiple times. This fell on the desk of a unprofessional company “Host and Stay” , even though I highlighted them putting me and my children at a serious health and safety risk. I then left feedback to which it has taken one month for them to reply. WoW.

We had a fabulous stay in The Saltwater apartment Whitby. The view was perfect and the apartment was spotless. There was everything we needed. Will definitely visit again and staying here will be the first choice 👍🏼
