Americans here to praise our great stay in Whitley Bay. Location was perfect. Walkable to great restaurants, metro and beach. We loved waking up to the ocean views. The amenities were ideal to make our stay feel at home. English folks can likely stop reading here as the next bit is geared toward spoiled American tourists from the south. We are used to a very hot climate, but at night crank the AC down to frigid. The top floor was a bit warm for our taste. Fans would be nice. We weren't prepared for the long days, so getting blasted by sunlight in the wee hours of the morning didn't help the jet lag. I know it's too much to ask for an American style coffee maker, so I'll just leave it with praising the 'tea maker ', brilliant and something we need to add to our kitchen.

Lovely cosy cottage in a great Location. Just a short 5 minute walk to the marina. Very clean and well presented. Beds were comfortable and a wardrobe in the main bedroom. The front entrance is down a narrow lane with a few steep steps then more stairs inside. As this is a 3 storey house had lots of narrow stairs to all floors. The bedroom in the attic is very small and low ceiling not much room to move around. Ok for children but a struggle for adults. Very small door to a toilet so we used the main bathroom on the ground floor. Parking was limited and although there is a parking scratch card provided it’s only for W zone which was 10 mins away and full. There is paid parking opposite but with limited space and time restrictions.

Very nice place, clean and full of light, nicely decorated and furnished. Quiet neighbourhood, close to the bus stop. Free and easy parking outside. The price is correct.

The Accommodation was good and it was handy for the town centre and the train station and it was only 15min walk to the beach and 5 min to aldi and Tesco even buses to other places.

Amazing apartment! A home away from home. Super clean, comfortable and everything you need, whether you chilling and dining at home or out and about in Brighton. Close to the beach, city centre and grocery stores. We loved our stay! Look forward to visiting Brighton again and staying with you. Thank you!

Beautiful cottage for our stay in Northumberland. Very clean and welcoming. Excellent location for getting out and about by car, bike or, walks. Enjoyed sitting on the patio at the end of each sunny day.

This is a lovely apt. Really great location. Super clean. Good size. Close to a pub and shops. Exceptional views from just across the road of the coastline. Dog friendly, with lovely walks nearby. Host and Stay were brilliant at sending us info (great online book with useful info) and answering any questions we had. A little bit of noise from upstairs, but that can’t be helped. A bit of a leaky tap in the kitchen, but otherwise well appointed.

The cottage is in a lovely situation and we much enjoyed eating outside at the solid table with comfortable chairs but the dear cottage is much in need of a make over and some fresher sheets and duvet covers. It also needs a chest of drawers in the main bedroom, there was nowhere to put anything. We have holiday cottages ourselves and we know the problems, but some investment is needed sooner rather than later. My friend and I loved the island and had a wonderful time with Eden Cottage as our base.

What a brilliant view. At times I could just have sat watching the boats coming in and out and seeing the wildlife rather than exploring Whitby. Great location, very clean. Will definitely be back.

A pleasant stay, comfy bed, big TV, no noise from outside despite staying friday and Saturday night. A couple of niggles, very small fridge, some temperamental lights but nothing that really hindered the stay.

Great base to explore Northumbria. Quiet location, with shops a few minutes drive away. All the castles, Bamburgh & Alnwick, and historical towns, Berwick-upon-Tweed & Morpeth, within easy driving distance.

We loved our Host and Stay accommodation in Kettering. Despite initial issues with accessing the flat (you actually put the code into the door handle rather than the lockbox), the hosts were very helpful and always available on the phone. The apartment was beautifully clean and presented to a very high standard. It was reasonably priced and equipped with everything you could want, including decent wifi, a digital TV, super king sized bed, fridge and kitchen equipment. We will definitely be using Host and Stay again.
