This was our second stay at this building in saltburn but in a lower apartment (they own the building with 4 flats on different floors). We booked a lower one as we had a baby and a dog this time so didn’t want to four flight trek but it was just as lovely. The view was the same, sunrise and sunset out of the bay window and the layout/condition perfect. The only comment I have is there are just horizontal blinds in the bedrooms and it’s very light in summer so you get woken up about 4am so curtains/black out blind would be an update. We’re thinking of booking again for next year in the same apartment.

Fantastic place to stay and all of the extra touches make it really special. Immaculately clean and great communication. This is the third stay here and I’m sure we will return.

Very nice clean and comfortable property in a great location, very handy for all of the eateries in Bamburgh. A nice, low maintenance garden which is enclosed so useful if you have a dog like we did.

Spent three great nights in this beautifully appointed Airbnb. The house had all the home comforts you would need - including plenty of games and media to keep kids entertained in the evening. Driveway parking for two cars was a welcome bonus - rare for Whitby! The location itself was perfect - far enough away so as not to be disturbed by the nearby nightlife, but only a five minute walk down to the bus / rail station and into the first of many great pubs the town has to offer. Another 10 minutes walk and you’ll find yourself at the foot of the 199 steps that lead up to St. Mary’s Church and Whitby Abbey. This also puts you onto the Cleveland Way…the 6 and a half mile walk into Robin Hood’s Bay along the coastal path is an absolute must. Great time had by all and we will be booking here again

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The apartment was amazing—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had a fantastic view. It was also just a short walk to town, which made everything super convenient. The rooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. A perfect stay overall—highly recommend!

Lovely stay at a very nice place. Great location - very close to the city centre, however, still situated in a very chill area. Loved the little outdoor area too!

Amazing stay from start to finish ! Absolutely spotless and had everything possible to make our stay the most comfortable. A lovely welcome gift was included and it couldn’t have had better amenities. Gorgeous and private location with stunning views, would highly recommend !

Very sweet cottage. Excellent location near beach, bars and resturants. As others have said steep stairs. Good communication. Overall a very nice stay thank you.

Stunning, fabulous place to stay by the lakes. The property on itself is so well maintained, nice airy and clean. Kids and pets friendly with a stunning huge garden to soak up in. Highly recommend due to its location as well as its nearby Keswick and stunning places for circling and walking. Loved every bit of it.

Great location in the centre of Alnwick. No parking, but there is street parking just around the corner (next to the castle) or there is a long stay car park nearby - we stayed in July and managed to get parked each day with no problems. Accommodation is lovely - everything you need is provided and it’s a really peaceful setting. Access details were text to us on the morning of arrival. Outside area is basic (could benefit from a bit of garden maintenance) but we were out and about most of the day and so this didn’t worry us. We’d definitely stay here again.

Clean modern apartment, perfect location! Apartment was beautiful and spotless, location was perfect. If you’re staying I’d recommend renting a drive close by rather than relying on local car parks as they can get busy. Would deffo stay here again

Sadly when we arrived we discovered there was no comfortable seating in the sitting room and no TV operating without paying for viewing. The TV did not function even as a basic TV. In the downstairs bedroom there was no chair and absolutely nothing to hang clothes on for the week. The downstairs toilet was not flushing properly and despite alerting host and stay on day one no-one came to remedy our situation all week. There was no light for the gas cooker. We left for the next guests a lighter for the cooker and some tea and coffee. We felt sorry for them coming into such an unwelcome place. It was bleak. However Canterbury made up for everything. We had great weather and a wonderful week with welcoming locals and a most memorably happy time despite the conditions of the house.
