I found Blayshaw House was an excellent place to stay- all amenities were five star, including the most comfortable beds ever and pristine bathrooms. This place is a real gem in a beautiful village location. I would highly recommend and I certainly would love to stay there again. Many thanks Richard.

A good size property. No dishwasher which is not ideal for 10 people. Parking outside between 6pm and 10am was misleading, as it was a pedestrianised street, so you can pull up and unload etc but you wouldn't park there as such. We had a water leak during our stay which was attended to very quickly. Good size rooms. Only 1 tea towel, which again is not ideal for 10. A reasonable property which suited our needs for the weekend.

The property was very comfortable and spacious. Myself and family had a pleasant stay. It was situated perfectly and buses outside the door. It was a pleasure dealing with Charlie. I highly recommend Host & Stay.

5 Oswy Street, Whitby - the house was clean and roomy. Its location was ideal, being a 15 minute walk from Whitby town centre. We really enjoyed the quiz and the games provided during one rainy evening, the house was really comfortable. There were only a couple of minor issues, with only 1 being something people might want to consider before booking: (1) parkig, whilst on street and free, was not easy as the street, and surrounding streets, were very busy. We had to park our car a considerable distance away on first arrival. We then moved the car once we saw a space open up; (2) the rooms were quite stuffy when you first arrive but that disappeared once the windows had been opened for an hour; and (3) take a kitchen scourer, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets as they are not provided (although we have left ours so the next few guests will be ok). Other than that,, the venue was great and, if I were visiting Whitby in the future, I'd be happy to stay again. P.S. the welcome bottle of prossecco in the fridge was a lovely touch, thank you.

My wife and I stayed at the Paddock in Bedlington, when we arrived the hosts Maureen and Keith were very welcoming, the apartment is situated at the end of a lane overlooking fields with 3 horses ,the apartment was perfect 2 bedrooms jack and jill bathroom and an open plan lounge, dining, kitchen perfect.the hosts spoke to us on numerous occasions it fell like we had known each other for a long time, I would rate it 10 out of 10 and it is definitely worth another visit thank you Maureen and Keith.

We stayed at at Lilac cottage in Morpeth for 4 nights, lovely cottage and very central for plenty of bars and restaurants in Morpeth to visit also a good base for visiting the rest of Northumberland.

Great location, comfortable well equipped cottage with a high level of cleanliness. A little confused when we first arrived, there are two key stores on the wall which we didn’t realise until the first one didn’t work! Some curtains in the bedrooms wouldn’t go amiss as the vertical blinds let in the light.
