Wonderful location. Bellingham is a nice little village, and the Kielder water area is fantastic for gravel cycling. Great views and endless gravel routes. The Cheviot is a great place to go for dinner. We didn't make it to the other restaurants/pubs. There is also a well stocked coop at walking distance. The house is spacious, downstairs toilet and bathroom upstairs with toilet, shower and bath. The kitchen has plenty of space and a nice induction hob. Private parking and outdoor seating at the front. Quiet location. Would recommend if you want to be near Kielder water but also want to have some places to eat at walking distance.

The apartment is wonderful and the location is beautiful near to the beach. I will advise my family & friends to book the same property to have the same feeling I had.

A fantastic house and we had a wonderful time! We couldn't believe the lovely views and fantastic location of The Bach- it's a 5min walk to the beach and to the coffee shops and pubs in Beadnell village, and only a few mins to drive along to Seahouses and Bamburgh. The house is bright and modern, with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The garden and outdoor seating area back onto a tranquil area of water- see photo- perfect for a peaceful morning coffee. You've created a really calm and beautifully appointed home. Thank you!

The worst company ever avoid, never use them again I had lost the keys for the apartment as we were packing up (so the keys were definitely in the apartment somewhere) today I get charged £140 to my bank card without any contact or authorisation, Will be contacting my bank as this must be illegal! This has now caused a lot of issues for paying my other bills

Lovely little place :) beautifully decorated…fantastic location free parking! The only things to improve would be to have a tidy up/sort out of the cutlery/cups some were chipped/cracked and to put flowergate on the address or directions…

Stayed at a host & stay property in Whitby called Tites. Very comfortable place to stay with plenty of space and everything we needed for the weekend. Will definitely book with them again.

Fabulous cottage in Saltburn; the photos don’t do it justice actually. We loved our stay here, it’s got everything you need and really homely. Lots of lovely touches like books and pictures plus a well equipped kitchen. We felt instantly at home.

We had booked 2 apartments for a family wedding in saltburn. Althought the apartments were great, the service we received was shocking. One apartment was cancelled by the company when the host, had decided 6 months into the booking that they were no longer taking guests. Host and Stay didn't book another apartment, we were passed from pillar to post. Wasn't until we queried that we had no booking confirmation regarding keys etc a week before the wedding that they had only one apartment for us with 2 beds(we had 10 adults), we had to book another one and pay again, even though it wasn't confirmed if we had our money back from the first one. On route to the new booking we got a call from the rest of the party that it hadn't even been cleaned, dirty linen and bottles everywhere -no apologies throughout. It was lucky that the nice apartments made up for it.

The unit is nicely furnished and mostly very clean (some dishes being the notable exception). There were only a couple of downsides. The unit is advertised as having off-street parking, but the space is very small and extremely hard to get out of. The neighbor was nice enough to move her car the first morning so I could get out, but after that ended up needing to find street parking so I would not be stuck. The internet was not configured as was documented, so I had to contact the managing company to ask what to do. I left two messages and they never responded, but I did figure out a workaround with the Wi-Fi. One minor issue was that there’s no shelf in the shower, so nowhere to put soap or shampoo but the floor.

We have just enjoyed a fabulous stay at the 'Vermont' house in Marske-by-the-Sea, the house has a modern feeling with all the facilities you would need. This was our first stay at this property having stayed at 'The Tardis' last year, and can honestly say they are both a delight with a lovely garden for our dog to relax in. This time around, we met the owner Mark, who was a lovely chap with plenty of advice on places to visit. The beach is a short walk from the property which is glorious and dog friendly all year round. The local shops have all that you could need for food shopping, takeaways and general shopping too. Whilst there are a host of places to visit, including Redcar, Staithes and Whitby. I would definitely recommend and would also visit again.

On the whole Host & Stay were incredibly efficient being in regular contact. I love the link you get sent that has all the property details regards entry, exit, local transport etc all within one easy web page, very helpful. My only negative is the insurance waiver. Being faced with either paying a one time non refundable £25 or a £250 security deposit with non refundable £10 transaction fee was not a welcome addition. I would have rather the £25 had been added to the booking at the time of receiving the quote as opposed to it being an unwelcome added extra which I wasn't keen to pay.

The Oyster Cottage in Whitby was clean and modern and we enjoyed our stay. Had hoped the bedrooms would be a bit larger with more storage space for our clothes. There was hardly anywhere to put your clothes bar a small amount of hanging space, there were no drawers in one of the double rooms. The parking is a bit ridiculous, it’s very very tight. The garden space is so-so. But we did like spending time in the living space on the top level, albeit a shame the double doors cannot be fully opened without impacting your view of the TV as they don’t open flush against the walls. Neighbouring units all seem to be short term rentals. Approx 40 steps to the property and more inside as the property is set over 3 levels but that didn’t affect us. Would recommend as it’s clean and modern, good comms with the management comoany, situated in a good location and felt safe, you just have to be a confident driver for the parking and be ok with steps.

We booked this Apartment and paid in full upfront. Unfortunately my husband was suddenly made redundant and we were no longer able to afford to go. I begged them several times as did Booking. Com to please refund us given the circumstances. They flatly refused. They wouldn’t even enter into a conversation with us. In the end we pleaded to change the dates so we could hopefully go later in the year. They absolutely refused this request also. Avoid this place at all because if life throws you an unexpected curve ball, they will not show you one ounce if humanity. They will take your money regardless of your circumstances and smile whilst doing so. They ought to be completely ashamed. I hope they sleep well at night. Not one ounce of human decency. Shame on you

Bridge house - Muker. Lovely house in a great location for exploring the Dales. Clean but could be cleaner (quite a few cobwebs, some of which had been there a long time)

Very good standard of accommodation, beds were very comfy and kitchen well appointed. The house was perfect for our needs and we would recommend. Any dealings with the company were very prompt and friendly. Hope to return!
