I would not recommend this company to anyone coming to Newcastle. I made a booking with booking.com, and the information they have on booking.com is not accurate to what they do. They will say 50% of the payment upon making the reservation, then 50% 75 days before the stay, but they will then demand the full payment as soon as booking is made, without offering a refund, while also trying to charge a cancellation fee. This was the most dishonest and fraudulent experience i have ever had when trying to book a hotel. Stay away if you would like good and clear communication.

Great experience with this company. Easy to navigate and use site for booking with prompt response and detail. House was exactly as the pictures and write up and we had a great stay. The house was clean and full of amenities in all rooms with some extra little touches that didn't go unnoticed. Would use them again.

A lovely location. With a little more attention to detail it could be almost perfect.

We chose kestrel for its location and size of accommodation and when we walked in we were amazed just how spacious for two it was , beautifully presented and a lovely comfortable bed for a good nights sleep, the area is so quiet and tranquil and so close to the fantastic beaches too.

I have rented several places in Hythe over the last 2 years and this rental is so tiny it was uncomfortableat at first sight. The photo on the website showed a beautiful front door that was not the same door as the actual location we rented. My Husband and I disliked the place are soon as we opened the back door (because the front door was stuck shut). The stairs were steep but we have had steeper, the problem is they were painted with a high gloss enamel paint and were very slippery (unless you wore tennis shoes up to the bedrooms) we don't do that. We only had hot, hot water in the bathroom because the shower was broken and stuck on hot. The bedroom "just" fits a double bed, the same for twin bedroom, linens need a slight upgrading. There was a window upstairs that had a view of the water, just try not to stub your toe or knee on the bed frame while looking at the view. Also the location is not as good as they advertise. The parking is just parking down or up the street, no designated place. The owner should replace the living room furniture, there's 2 pleather peices in the room and they are not good for company or watching the TV. The couch reminds me of 2 bucket seats, small and uncomfortable. The kitchen was ok... We were in Hythe for a week and we left this place after 2 nights and rented a new place when we were notified that a repairman was showing up in the middle of the day on our vacation. I did tell the manager about the maintenance needs and I found out theses were existing problems so folks don't rent the place and fix things, please don't do it on our time and money. We moved to another location after that notification. Who nows what problems a repairman would find and the length of time it would take to repair them. I don't like wasting my vacation and money on a day of maintance. This owner doesn't seem to care about the renter. Once again a tiny, tiny place for to much money, poorly furnished and poorly maintained. This rental property has it's place on the market, they just need to rethink who fits in the place and lowered the rental cost. Not worth the money!

The accomadation was lovely, but need to be aware that the bathroom is on the first floor and bedroom is upstairs,so getting up at night was a bit of a challenge. There were a few minor things, with cleaning but just reported it.We had a lovely stay for 10 days, but think its more suitable for short stay.parking was not easy, needed to leave car for several days, was told to use car park at pickering castle,it is free!! but only for visitors to castle,it closes at 4pm,and not open till 10am.but we did find off road parking in Castle Gate which is free.so we could leave car and not worry about it,also parking on road opposite flat is only for 1hr between 9am &6.30pm then it's free after that. The accomadation has been done to a good standard and was very comfortable and there was everything we needed.

Great location just a short walk into the City Centre House was very clean and comfortable for 6 people Heating was temperamental but perhaps that was us not quite getting the hang of it, there is a boost facility on the Heating that we didn't at first master Only 1 tea towel for three nights stay , could have done with perhaps 1 more Nice dining area and Lounge Thinking of a return next year

Lovely fully appointed house in a quiet residential section of Canterbury but within a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Cathedral, groceries and high street. Very clean and comfortable, perfect for a family. Very pleasant private outside seating area in the garden as well. Highly recommend!

What a perfect place to stay. It is located just off one of the cobbled streets, and up some steps, enough to keep any noise away but only 10 seconds from the street. The views from the cottage and garden are lovely and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into planning outside space. The cottage is cosy but perfect for a couple or small family. It was immaculately clean and there was everything that you could possibly need, not just basics but really nice touches to make things a bit more special. The welcome basket was extremely nice, perfect for a cuppa and piece of cake. I have to also mention the bed in the first floor bedroom (we didn't use the 2nd floor room). It was super comfy, really nice pillows, plenty of duvet and a plenty long bed for someone who is over 6 feet tall!! I can't wait to return, I really didn't want to leave!

Cannot fault Host and Stay. Helped with all my enquiries. The property was tired and needs updating and made clear it’s up 5 flights of stairs

Great location right in the middle of the city ideal location for Chinatown and docks. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. Building covered in scaffolding so no balcony and a bit tricky to find at first. Incredible value for last minute stay.

Really nice modern well appointed flat. Lots of thought has gone into the little extras that make the stay more enjoyable. Parking at the weekend can be a bit of a trial in the W zone however it is free. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in Bretforton for a wedding and this cottage was just what we needed. It's small (there's not much room to manoeuvre in the upstairs bedrooms) but it's well-appointed and pleaseantly decorated. Communication from the hosts was great.
