Brilliant location, fantastic views of the city skyline. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. A few minor maintenance issues, but nothing that impacted our stay. The welcome email instructions were initially a bit confusing, it is not clear until you open the welcome pack where to collect the key from. However once we got through that it was perfect, we shall use it again as it’s perfect to visit our daughter who is based at Uni there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your property in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Northumberland. We felt relaxed and well catered for in the stylish and well equipped, two bed terrace. Just a short walk to the promenade of the attractive and self contained little Bay. Would definitely recommend and book again! Our ragdoll cat enjoyed it too with plenty of space to run up and down and a secure space in the back yard to go out into.

We recently spent three wonderful days at this holiday house, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure guests feel comfortable and welcome. The house itself is beautifully decorated, blending modern amenities with charming touches that give it a unique character. The rooms were spotless, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals, and we appreciated the little extras like the coffee and tea provided. The outdoor space was just as delightful with a sea view and a cozy seating area where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening drinks. The location is fantastic, offering both tranquility and easy access to local attractions. We loved being able to take peaceful nature walks in the surrounding area and then quickly drive to nearby restaurants and shops. Overall, this holiday house exceeded our expectations in every way. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, beautiful, and perfect getaway. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Poor garden facilities when booking was insured that we would be able to host a bbq in the garden. Very unkempt , broken furniture and dirty old bbq. House basic - very expensive for what it was

Our apartment at Whitby was not what we expected unfortunately. The apartment had all modern fixtures, beautiful views and close to Whitby center. We had a lift to our 3rd floor apartment and check in was easy, The hosts responded fairly quickly. I really hate leaving bad reviews, however our stay was not cheap so expected more cleanliness in what is a beautiful apartment. My first problem was the waiver charge of either £25 none refundable or £250, refundable but with a £10 admin fee, but it takes 14 days to get refunded, this was not mentioned upon booking, which it should be. Our check in time was 4pm so I asked if there was a chance to check in early, the reply was that due to there high level of cleaning standards this was not possible, which was fine by us. Upon entering the apartment everything seemed fine untill we checked what was in the draws, (photos attached) this was very disappointing 😞. Also the dust was thick and the lounge/ Kitchen floor was dirty. I understand that this is down maybe to the previous people that left dirty utensils and microwave, but you would have thought the cleaners would check and at least dust and wash the floors. I received a message the last night of our stay to say check out was 9am, yet when I booked check out was stated to be 10am, I messaged and did get a quick response to say they had checked and it was 10am. Such a shame on the negative points as sandcastle apartment is done to a high spec with beautiful views, however for the price we paid it was disappointing.

A fabulous house in a great location in Liverpool. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Our host was very responsive and looked after us very well. We even had a garage to tuck the car away. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Loads of room for our group of old friends. The Aga was great for breakfasts and roast dinner. On the downside, there is a lot of noise in the garden from traffic. Also, not enough cutlery, mugs, wine glasses and water glasses. However, we had a very enjoyable week and the beds were extremely luxurious and comfortable.

Dishonest company. They introduce new unadvertised 'fees' after you have paid for the accommodation in full.

Lovely house, ideal for a couple and the dog. Very central location for the pubs and lots of nice walks to help build up a thirsts. Really enjoyed the house and Barney. Thank you.

Positives; the apartment is beautiful, plenty of room for the full family, the beds were very comfortable and had memory foam mattresses. The view from the balcony was gorgeous especially first thing in the morning with the first cuppa of the day. The location is perfect if you are going for a whitby event in either the pavilion or leasure centre, and the hosts were more than generous with tea, coffee, snacks etc. Negatives; the big one for us was the limited availability for parking meaning we had to park quite far away from the building. The front door stuck as if it hadn't been fitted correctly meaning it was difficult to get in and out sometimes. The log burner had been decommissioned and was unusable which disappointing as it was a big draw for us. And we had some noisy neighbours but that's not the hosts fault. All in all it was very nice and will consider using again for our next trip to Whitby

Dealing with Host & Stay was fine. The property is well situated near the town centre and rail and bus stations. We had a few comments on the house. Some rooms have no drawers or hanging rails. Some bedside lights were not working. A shower door handle coming adrift. No safety mats for showers. The property was well recently decorated and clean though one person found long black hairs in their room.

Beach Pad in Whitby is modern, stylish and has everything you need, just off the beach, close to the town centre and old town, within walking distance of everything. Will definately be coming back. Host and Stay were great, keeping me well informed every step of the way from booking to check out.

A great base for visiting family, university students or just to explore Newcastle or the North East coast. Very clean and nicely warm modern house with great comforts. Parking in the drive, a garden, bus stop very near and Sainsbury’s a very short drive away. There’s also a handy corner shop opposite the house and an excellent fish and chip shop offering online orders to collect beside Sainsbury’s. Plenty of space, very well equipped, we’d rent 72 Benton Road again.

A lovely spot in a great neighborhood. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. A guide to using the washing machine for Americans would have been great! We figured it out, though. We didn’t find parking to be a problem with the pass. Thank you!

We stayed for 3 nights a t Normandy terrace in Whitby host and stay apartment and I would highly recommend. Fab website. Great communication from hosts and perfectly centralised property which was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. They even supplied a car parking scratch card . APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE Stayed in Whitby over the Easter weekend for two nights at a cost of £400 + insurance of £25. There was no hot water for washing and this was reported on the second day. Was told to complete a complaint form after vacating the property and it is now 4 weeks and many attempts to try and contact them with no action or any offer of apology or recompense. Be warned before you book as i have heard of their properties not being fit for use or having been checked before arrival. Very disappointing.
