Perfect location, so peaceful but close to Keswick. So spacious and had everything you would need. The decor and log burner gave it such a homely and cosy touch. Very good value for money, would 100% visit again!!

The house is really lovely to stay in. The decoration is beautiful and everything is very clean and well cared for. The shower rooms are very luxurious and the beds are very comfy. The communication with Host and Stay was excellent and they were helpful and prompt when replying to my messages. The property is in a great location for exploring the city. It’s close to Bold street, Duke street and an easy walk from Lime St station. There was a little noise at night but not excessively and only to be expected in such a central location. The coffee shop next door serves delicious coffee and is well worth a visit for a cuppa and pastries.

A quirky and well located property. Let down by cleanliness issues and being woken at night at 2am by the storage heater immediately outside the bedroom heating up and clicking loudly and constantly for some considerable time.

Wow wow wow what a place! Rooftop terrace, bifolding doors and a corner bar. Dog friendly situated right in the heart of Whitby. Amazing kitchen with everything you could want including a lovely nespresso coffee machine and dish washer! Then the living room on the next level was beautiful with a large flat screen tv and lots of steaming choices. The whole house was beautiful and clean with extremely modern decor. Bedrooms and en suites also fabulous with great showers! We will definitely be returning to the house we really did love it. Thank you 😊

Very nice apartment in good location. Spacious and well kept. All the amenities are in good working condition. The facility manager welcomed us to the apartment and explained few things to us including car parking options. Happy for my three nights stay and will.be very happy to come back again.

Where do i start, if I could have given zero stars I would have but then that would have been mean too as there were 2 tiny glimmers of good in my story which earns them a star each. So to begin, if you are thinking of booking this property you need to be aware of all the facts, something I wasn't. If I had had all the information I would NEVER have booked it. ALL the photos on the listing were of the ground floor flat, it looked really nice and although we had reservations about being too cheap there must be a catch I still booked it for the 3 of us, hubby, myself and grown up daughter. Both daughter and I have mobility issues, this has a massive bearing on my tale. All the way along the communication with the company has been excellent and when our daughter could not come I messaged them to say we would be two now and no need to make up the other bed. Tuesday we arrived at the property absolutely exhausted to find the place, there was no on site parking despite the listing saying there was but we managed to park directly outside. The door into the apartment looked flimsy and the handle was hanging on by a wing and a prayer. We were expecting stairs up to the first floor, I took my time on them and there was a hand rail but at the top I was confronted with another set in one direction and another on the half landing going up the other way. Positive number 2 is that allthough it was really shabby, lots of paint chips and mismatched skirting etc, it was clean so big up the cleaning team. The bedrooms were up one set of stairs with what is laughably the tiniest lounge area, 3 of us would have struggled in there. The kitchen and bathroom were up the other set of stairs off the half landing, these were steep with no hand rail or grab handle. The bathroom was cluttered and really shabby but again clean. We did not have a rubber bathmat or any kind of towel rail. We checked in the yard out back to see a tree growing through the garage door hence no on site parking, I'm also unsure how we would get out of the yard in the event of a fire if we used the emergency exit stairs. We only decided to stay the night because it was clean but the people in the flat downstairs were so noisy and after minimal sleep and multiple toilet trips which became an expedition in the night for me, I did not feel I could stay. I did not feel safe in here. The final straw was the lack of hot water in the shower. We stayed the summer total of 16 hours here. At 9am I rung the office to say we would not be staying, I'd already started packing up items at 4am determined as I was! I spoke to a gentleman and at no time was i rude, I explained all my issues and the issues with the listing, the lack of transparency etc. He said we could not get a refund or even our damage waiver back i was angry at this as we should get this back, we had damaged nothing. I have since emailed the company and they are looking into it for us. Please do not be fooled by nice photos as we were, I've had my fingers burnt big time.

One Love Apartment -Harrogate We have just returned home from a fabulous stay at the One Love apartment in Harrogate. The communication prior, during and after our stay was excellent, everything was clear and simple and they seemed very happy to answer any of my questions. We also got a very snazzy app for the apartment with lots of useful info. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location, easy walking distance to everything in Harrogate including the station if you want to head to York as we did. The apartment is well equipped and can easily accomodate 4 adults. It is up two flights of stairs, which is just something to be aware of if you are travelling with anyone elderly. The check in and out process was simple though. Its very close to a lovely park too which was lovely for walks. We really couldnt fault anything! Would be happy to stay here again.

The Townhouse Scarborough / 10 people The massive fridge (we were a party of 10 people), was broken upon arrival. There was a smaller fridge in the playroom, not adequate for the amount of people we had in our group. I phoned the out off hours number as soon as I got there on Friday and spoke to someone who could barely speak English. I was told that a maintenance team would be round that night and to leave a key. They phoned back to say that a new fridge was ordered (although, I really couldn’t understand the man on the phone. He seemed very confused as to whether someone had even been to the house or not.) I then emailed the office the next morning and was told that a replacement fridge would take place over the weekend. That was the last I heard and no fridge ever turned up! The house itself was a bit run down in terms of the furniture (nice bathrooms and kitchen). Not massively clean either. And a horrible grubby carpet throughout. My bed had a problem underneath. Everytime you moved in the night, there was an awful sound like it was going to collapse. The sofa had one of its main back cushions missing and the house smelt strange. Second year running with this company and I would not recommend them. Last year, I didn’t leave a bad review for a different house because I was offered a 20% discount (only after 6 months of trying to sort it out), but second year now, different house, similar issues and not good at all.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Brighton. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach front, making it perfect for enjoying the seaside atmosphere. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with a lot of thought put into the details, giving it a stylish yet homely feel. It was very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we felt safe and relaxed throughout. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brighton!

A very comfy and welcoming house with an unbeatable location, looking over the beach and only a short walk along the prom into town. Would definitely rebook!

Lovely place to stay, clean and plenty of room. Very close to the centre of Whitby, but nice and quiet. The parking space is quite a challenge to get into, but we did it !

Before, during, and after, Host & Stay has the best attitude towards it's patrons, (me and the family). Questions were answered fast and clearly with an attitude of understanding for the visitor, where the answers and advice were plentiful but precise, we felt cared for at all times. The accommodations itself was clean, well maintained, had all the amenities necessary and many extras ones for good measure. Host & Stay are a good company, definitely a recommendation from us.

Cons: • The directions to the property were unclear, which made it difficult to find. • Basic toiletries such as body wash and shampoo were not provided. The overall service felt lacking, and the team did not seem very responsive. • There appeared to be an issue with the drainage system, which was inconvenient. • Although the lodge was booked for five people, only four towels were provided. Pros: • The lodge itself was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and set in a lovely, peaceful location. • The kitchen was well-equipped, with high-quality dishes and utensils—the air fryer in particular was very useful. • The decking area was beautifully maintained and offered a quiet spot to relax. • The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable and worked well for extra sleeping space.
