A challenge to find but lovely cottage in a beautiful place. Sadly housekeeping let it down, no toiletries, no laundry detergent, minimal kitchen towel and toilet paper, when I emailed for more was told to get our own! Disappointed we had to spend time looking for toilet rolls as there are no shops nearby. Dirty towels from previous guest in a drawer in a bedroom. Cottage wasn't particularly clean either.

Lovely stay away! Very peaceful. The lodge was spotless and clean and the perfect size for 2 people. Hosts were amazing and helpful too with very quick, efficient replies :) thank you again.

Had a great stay. Comfortable and well appointed apartment. Facilities were great, everything we needed for a few days away from home! Situated within Prospect Villa apartments. Just a 10 minute walk down the hill to the harbour and the delights of Whitby. Keep an eye out for events in the town... we were there when it was 'pirates' weekend!

Location was fabulous, house very comfortable, beds comfortable, only parking for 1 car, although it said no Internet we did connect to the sky box only problem we had with 6 adults was 1 bathroom 🤔

We stayed at the pilgrims coach house in July for our son’s graduation. Perfect location for our needs with the best coffee shop right next door. The rooms are a little small but fine for a short break. Nice restaurants around the corner. If your car is too big for the garage parking there is a reasonable alternative overnight car park a few streets away.

The house is in a great location, close to the beach and all shops, pubs and restaurants. It’s fully equipped for self catering and plenty of tea and coffee available. The stairs are extremely steep and could be quite hazardous to negotiate for someone with mobility issues and in low light. I would definitely stay there again, due to it’s great location and at a reasonable rate.

Amber Cottage is a beautiful mid terraced house down a little lane right in the heart of Whitby. All attractions are within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

The lodge Goathland. Excellent property. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to park and short walk to the centre of the village. Wish we had a longer stay

The apartment was lovely, beautifully styled, clean and so comfortable. Loved the garden, it was a great spot to relax and read and have a glass of wine in the evening.

We had a great stay at the Over Arches, the house was really comfortable! I would ask that there is a slight bit of flexibility in dropping off bags at the property. Some other places we have stayed at have allowed us to do that at our own risk. Other than that. It was very comfortable.

Lovely cottage, close to town, comfy beds, great shower, good communication with Host & Stay. Was quite dusty in places and let down by pet hairs on the sofa throws and the bags of dog poo left on the courtyard floor! otherwise a great stay!

We spent three nights in this 3-bedroomed house at St Mark's Close in Marske by the Sea with two grandchildren ages 10 and 13. The house was very pleasant and clean, and the location was quiet and very convenient for local shops and eating places. The rooms were of a good size and comfortable. We used public transport; arriving by train, it was roughly a 10 - 15 minutes walk from the station, and only couple of minutes walk to bus stops offering a reasonably frequent bus service to Redcar or to Saltburn and Whitby. The procedure for booking and the key access were easy and we very much enjoyed our few days there. Should we return, we would certainly seek to book this holiday home again.

We all loved our stay at leading lights in whitby. A beautiful old building with lots of character and stunning decor. Spotlessly clean, every amenity you could wish for and perfectly situated. We stayed for a long weekend but could easily stay for longer. All 3 bedrooms had a bathroom but the bathroom on the top floor was just gorgeous. We would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Lovely, clean apartment, 10 mins walk to Whitby centre. Parking for 1 car in this case was underground behind a locked gate. Responsive & informative hosts. Would definitely stay again and recommend
