Scam company charge a "deposit" for damages but it's non refundable even if there are no damages I wish I'd read the negative reviews before I booked with them! The property was lovely and only marred by being ripped off by this sham company

The townhouse was spacious and clean and well equipped , the location was fantastic with a 2 minute walk into Great Ayton with it's shops pubs etc. Parking was not a problem at all , would highly recommend it.

Good but lacking a few basic items We’ve stayed in many air bnb’s in Saltburn over the years and they are all really nice. This one was on the higher end of that scale in terms of size, location, quality and cost. It’s in a lovely location overlooking the beach and this aspect is why the decked area at the front is the best thing about the property. This is where you sit with your drink/food and absorb the views of the rollling waves and sunsets…this was a very thoughtful addition to the property. The rest of the house is lovely too-especially the giant master suite…beautiful views of the beach etc. The other rooms are fine too just basic rooms though-nothing special. The kitchen and lounge areas were perfect-nice and spacious and comfy. There is also a porch area that we used to store coats/shoes/surf gear-really handy space. The only thing that lets the property down is a lack of pots and pans(I advise bringing your own frying pan) no salt/pepper/cooking oil and the fact that there were no welcome essentials like a pint of milk, a bottle of wine, a few chocolates…basically the standard accessories of any good quality air bnb especially given the price. A few pound spent on household essentials would have gone a long way here. That being said, I’d stay here again just for the master bedroom and the front patio area.

Fabulous cottage, perfect in every way, lovely and clean, very cosy living room, loved the decor, everything you need. Few pubs nearby but perfect to use as a base too to explore, no issue with parking, unloaded then found a space on the street 😀 would def go back

Fantastic stay at Lime Tree House - was kept informed pre booking, contacted during our stay and post stay. Easy check in to a spotlessly clean apartment with everything we could ever need. The TV in the living room was huge - great to watch sport on ! Welcome basket was a nice touch.Pub next door very friendly and serves good food. Would stay again.

Great location for what we needed, beds very comfortable, however, considering that there where six of us, only to find three forks was not good enough, surely, when the house was cleaned this should have been checked, took a whole day for replacements, and even then, after leaving the key in the key safe, and having to chase, the items where left outside the back door.

We had a lovely stay at Austen House. Very spacious, comfy lounge and sociable kitchen which was perfect for our family of 8. Would definitely look to stay there again.

Sunset is a fantastic, well equipped and very comfortable apartment. One of the nicer that we've ever stayed in. Very close to Fistral beach, great view over the Newquay golf course to the sea. Close to all amenities, supermarkets, restaurants and the city itself. Highly recommended.

Cruel and dishonest company. DO NOT USE THEM I booked a 30th birthday trip with my elderly mother and father to a Host and Stay property in Kent. Upon arrival, there was no key in the lock box. After almost 3 hours waiting in the cold being told repeatedly on the phone to 'check the lock box' they finally admitted they were at fault and moved me into another house. Not nearly as nice as the one we book but thank goodness to be out of the cold. 3 weeks after my initial complaint, after chasing for weeks, they agreed to a partial refund and admitted liability. They offered me a £113 refund, one month later, no refund, no answer to any of my calls or emails and no help whatsoever. If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not use this company.

We had a fabulous stay at Parkside Villa. This was the perfect house for our friends Hen do, and the management was extremely responsive. The feature light wasn’t working when we arrived and they were round to repair it the next morning which was fantastic. The pictures do not do this place justice, the rooms are extremely spacious and it was extremely clean. They were well equipped with everything we needed, although body wash in the bathrooms would have been a nice inclusion. My only qualm was that check-in time was slightly later than other accommodation meaning we had to buy an extra night in order to get everything set up in time, when in reality we would have liked to have the option to pay for an early check-in. Same for the check-out time, this would have been good to have the option to check out a little later as 10am is quite early. Apart from that, the house was amazing and we had the most fantastic weekend!

Be aware that Host And Stay will take a £75 damage deposit which their website says is refundable. We have received a communication from them stating that the deposit is an insurance payment for up to £500 worth of damage and that even though there was no damage this is not refundable. Avoid this company at all costs and use a reputable agent instead.You obviously shouldn't trust what they say on their own website. Please be warned

We had a great stay visiting with family. The house was in a great spot, very quiet cul de sac but close to town so got plenty of peace and plenty of night life. I did have a few difficulties booking it as my bank blocked my card as the transaction looked but I'm pleased we were able to work it out

I stayed for a week at Railmans House York. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. Check in was a doodle with very clear information given. The area we found nice and quiet but close to city centre and train station - just a 20 minute stroll along traffic free pedestrian & cycle route. Overall the house was very clean, tidy with a very well equipped kitchen. The living room was welcoming and cosy perfect to relax in to read or watch tv. The bathroom was spacious, very clean and with nice towels. The bedroom was a good size for easy get around with a very comfortable bed - I slept really well.. No wardrobe or drawers for clothes but plenty of hangers which were hung on hooks. There was a bench to place cases so I just kept anything that didn't need hanging in there. I found Host and Stay staff very responsive when I had a query. I would stay here again. I thought it was good value. Thank you
