The apartment was situated in a great location just a few minutes walk to the centre. It also has parking which is a great helping in Whitby. It was immaculate inside and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely little apartment on Pearl Street, Saltburn. 30 seconds from the sea and so close to lovely bars and restaurants. Apartment had everything we could possibly need - great kitchen in particular! Great communication from the company in the lead up to our stay. Highly recommend!

The apartment i stayed in was great (Shipwrights lodge, whitby). But I'm never booking direct through host & stay again. They took the deposit fine but as I booked in advance when it came to taking the remainder it kept bouncing as it had been authorised too long ago so my bank flagged it as fraudulent. Had to call them to do a manual phone payment, and the girl on the phone repeated back my card number. Big PCI data no-no. Been sent a large number of texts, emails and calls on the run up to my stay, on arrival and leaving. Including calling on a Sunday evening for my Monday check in saying I can pay 30 quid extra to check in early. I ignored the call, followed up with a text AND an email saying the same thing, and if I wanted it then to get in touch- I didn't, so ignored it. To be called and text the next day saying the exact same thing. It's TOO MUCH CONTACT. leave customers alone!! Again, the apartment was nice. Equipped well and great location. Off street parking ideal but really tight off a back street with bollards and bins to navigate. 4* for cleanliness. Blankets need a wash, bedroom needed a hoover, but mostly clean throughout. Nice outside area. 6 minutes to town centre on foot.

The stay was great. The location was central to everything we wanted to do. The apartment was quite nice and our time here was brilliant.

Booked a property in Norton 1 year in advance - paid in full 2 months before stay - then with 4 weeks notice told that the property was double booked and we could not have our dates - were offered a inferior property in Middlesbrough of no use to us or our visiting relatives - how did they not know they were double booked when they had taken double money - unscrupulous company ...beware - do not use !!

Had a lovely stay in Potters cottage it had all the modern comforts while having a rustic and traditional feel. It was exactly what we were looking for to relax and it had an enclosed garden which was perfect for our dog. The bath was lovely and deep as well as having a fabulously comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed in 116 Rosary Road NR1 4DA for 3 nights at the end of April. The bathroom was not clean. The shower had black mold all around it (see photos), and the toilet was not clean (see photo). What appeared to be wood flooring in the listing turned out to be wood effect lino which bubbled in places (e.g. bedroom). What appeared to be marble tiles in the shower turned out to be marble effect plastic wall covering. The water pressure in the shower from the portable water heater was weak and not hot enough. The bed linen was spotlessly clean but the bed was lumpy. I had to sleep in the corner by the wall where it was less lumpy, but still I suffered back pain all 3 nights. I didn't use the living room as the sofa looked like it was lumpy and the fabric had caved in. I only used the kettle and some mugs. The kitchen was reasonably clean. I received numerous warning messages about additional fees for broken china and damages before and during the stay. You would have thought there was good china offered and high quality furnishings, not Ikea-quality mismatched mugs and plates, and tired furniture that had seen better days. I also received numerous messages about treating the B&B like home and to make sure I leave it clean and tidy. For me to treat it like home, it has to be AT LEAST as clean as my home. The entrance is via a fire escape back door (see photo). It is the first floor flat. I mistook the photo on Google for the property entrance. As a single woman, I did not feel safe staying here. I would not have stayed here if I had known. I couldn't wait to leave, and checked out at 6 am on the check out day. I regret not staying at the Premier Inn which was also near Norwich train station for the same price per night. I would never book again with this company again. Not recommended.

The property was inside a gated entrance and well maintained. When we arrived it was a hot day and the heating was on. The heating controls were easy to use and we soon sorted it. Also it was lovely to find ice cubes in the freezer. The kitchen was well appointed, we found everything we needed for all our breakfasts and dinners. The bedrooms were clean and comfy, we all slept well. The wifi worked well. The shower over the bath took time to get temperature right. The separate shower was easier to use. 2 guests of the 4 of us used the bath and it was nice to have this option. The only thing that might have been missing was a child gate to stop our dog running up and down the corridor of wooden floors all night when we were in bed. We had lots of fun visiting the local beach multiple times, the local pub for Sunday lunch and enjoyed day trips to Saltburn, Whitby and Staithes. A lovely mini break/ holiday. Thank you

The Salt Nook Whitby. Absolutely brilliant accommodation right in the heart of Whitby!! Wonderfully clean and well maintained, excellent communication on check in and out. We will definitely stay here again in the future. You can even see the Abbey from the bedroom window!đđ

Avoid this shambles of a company like the plague. A hen in December was dealt with horrifically - a door issue already noted on their system wasnât fixed meaning we were locked out for a few hours (at 5 weeks pregnant the stress wasnât needed!!). Only by chance did presumably their cleaner not lock the kitchen door we got in. To then be told to wait in until someone comes to give us a key⊠during planned hen activities rather than drop a key to us 5 mins away! Not to mention numerous missed call backs from their out of hours office to help us. My poor sisters hen was just a disaster due to their lack of consideration in helping us. A bedroom window didnât lock either and swung open numerous times during the storm. Apparently I was due to get ÂŁ100 as a good will gesture for the way it was all dealt with - funnily enough 4 months later and every email has been ignored. I will never recommend this company to anyone and encourage you all to think twice before considering giving them a penny!!

STAY AWAY Stay Away â Misleading Listing and Terrible Service I stayed at this property for the weekend and paid ÂŁ360 absolutely not worth it. First, the place was incredibly difficult to find. If youâre driving, be warned: thereâs no parking available, and they donât offer any helpful guidance or options either. That alone makes it inconvenient for anyone with a car. When we finally got inside, the TV wasnât working but worse than that, there was no WiFi at all. Despite the listing on Booking.com clearly stating that free WiFi is included and available in all areas, we had no internet for the entire stay. It wasnât even set up or registered with BT. Itâs completely misleading to advertise it as an included facility when itâs not functioning whatsoever. When we contacted the host expecting at least some assistance, we were met with rude and dismissive responses. They tried to refer us to their own website, which includes a disclaimer about WiFi not being guaranteed but this was irrelevant, as we booked through Booking.com, where WiFi was clearly listed as a provided amenity. Thereâs a big difference between âslow WiFiâ and no WiFi at all. To top it off, the check-in and check-out times are unfair. You pay for two nights but get less than 48 hours: check-in is at 4PM on Friday, and check-out is forced at 10AM on Sunday. It feels like theyâre squeezing maximum money out of guests for minimal service. I wouldnât stay here again, and I strongly recommend others look elsewhere. Misleading, poorly managed, and zero accountability.

I had to make a cancellation soon after my booking unfortunately, nearly 5 weeks on they still have not refunded my deposit, they do not live up to their own policies on refunds and I'm still chasing now!!! DO NOT USE HOST AND STAY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Possibly the worst experience of customer service I've ever had. From both a guest and owners perspective you couldn't write the incompetence this company provides. Clearly owned and operated buy someone who is just in item for the money and with no intention to actually follow thoughts on what they claim they will provided. Fail to follow basic instructions on multiple times with the same issues, lackadaisical uk staff and incompetent pidgin English speaking foreign call centres don't help either guest or owners when issues arise Truly shocking, you'd do well to avoid like the plague in our personal experience. In fact it's or experience with this managing agent which has led us to selling your properties. A true waste of space
